La habitación era muy confortable, muy tranquila y muy bien ventilada. La ubicación es perfecta en el centro de Brighton, con tiendas, bares, restaurantes y una corta distancia a la playa. Lo único importante que hay que mencionar es que hay un depósito de 100 libras que no sabía y no estaba preparado.

I recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate my 40th birthday and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made me feel very welcome, and the check-in team kindly offered complimentary drinks for my son and me. I was delighted to find a bottle of red wine and a lovely birthday card waiting in the room, which made the celebration extra special. The room was beautiful with a stunning sea view, and I really enjoyed the coffee selection. The breakfast area was excellent, and the lounge was perfect for relaxing with a drink. They truly made my birthday special. All the staff and the concierge team were lovely . I would definitely recommend this hotel and will return for sure. Thank you, the Grand Hotel.

A mi hija y a mí nos encantó el Hotel The Old Ship. La ubicación era perfecta: la playa está justo al cruzar la calle, el muelle a pocos minutos andando y las tiendas prácticamente a la vuelta de la esquina. Nuestra habitación (con dos camas individuales) era más grande de lo que esperaba. El té y el café con hervidor de agua estaban genial, ya que me moría de ganas de tomar una taza al llegar. Incluso nos dieron tapones para los oídos porque puede haber un poco de ruido por la noche (principalmente del gran hotel de enfrente). El baño era bastante grande, con bañera y ducha, y gel de ducha, champú y jabón de cortesía. La habitación estaba limpia y sin olores desagradables. Había ventilador, pero no lo necesitamos; la ventana entreabierta era suficiente. No pedimos una habitación con vistas al mar, pero se veía si mirabas a la derecha. Estábamos en la tercera planta y el ascensor no tiene ningún problema (ignoren otras reseñas). El desayuno estuvo genial, con una buena selección para todos los gustos. Una noche cenamos en el restaurante del hotel; ¡fue increíble! Y a un precio razonable. Había un montón de sitio para sentarse en la planta baja. El bar también estuvo genial. Tuvimos que guardar nuestro equipaje antes y después, y lo guardaron de forma segura, con una etiqueta numerada, y solo el personal podía acceder (a diferencia de otro hotel cercano que simplemente dejaba el equipaje cerca de recepción para que cualquiera pudiera acceder). Considerando el bajo precio que pagamos, el hotel fue realmente increíble. Personal encantador, limpieza total, habitaciones grandes, comida excelente, ubicación fantástica, ¡qué más se puede pedir! Volveré a reservar el año que viene. Mi madre podría venir con nosotros sin problema; usa andador, y el hotel sin duda sería adecuado para una persona con movilidad reducida.

La habitación era moderna y limpia y el personal era amable, pero el mejor lugar de este hotel es la ubicación - en la orilla del mar y cerca de los bares y restaurantes de tiendas. El spa era un poco decepcionante, es más un centro de ocio y muy ocupado cuando visitamos, así que no espere demasiado relajación ya que ni siquiera hay camas para sentarse/acostumbrarse. No hemos comido desayuno en el hotel, ya que hay muchos restaurantes grandes en Brighton, por lo que no puedo comentar la brekkie. ¡La cena/dance de NYE en el hotel fue genial! Brighton en general es un hermoso lugar para visitar, muchos bares, restaurantes y tiendas - especialmente los Lanes, que está lleno de pequeños independientes que son sólo fab! ¡Hay mucho que hacer y ver! ¡Tomamos un paseo corto del hotel a la torre i360. Una gran manera de ver Brighton del cielo y lo conseguimos a la luz del sol - tan mágico!

I had an absolutely FANTASTIC STAY at Safestay Brighton and couldn’t RECOMMEND IT more highly! From the moment I arrived, every member of staff made me feel genuinely welcome. They are exceptionally friendly, PROFESSIONAL, approachable and always happy to help with anything you need. They also have excellent local knowledge and are full of great recommendations for places to eat, things to do and getting around Brighton. The LOCATION is UNBEATABLE. Situated directly opposite the beautiful Royal Pavilion, you’re only a FEW MINS WALK from the BEACH and pier, the Lanes, gardens, countless cafés and restaurants, supermarkets, bars, bike hire, launderettes and the main bus stops. Even the train station is within easy walking distance..making it the PERFECT BASE for exploring Brighton. One thing that really stood out to me was how WELL MAINTAINED the hostel is. As it’s newly opened, everything feels fresh, modern and well looked after (not like some older hostels that can feel tired or musty). The HOUSEKEEPING team are WONDERFUL and always happy to help. Any request I had was dealt with quickly and with a smile, which made my stay even more comfortable. The hostel has a lovely and SAFE SOCIAL ATMOSPHERE too. The chill out lounge is a great place to relax..with 24 hr access for guests and there are FUN ACTIVITIES like karaoke nights, world cup viewings, movie nights, board games and a variety of drinks available, making it EASY TO MEET PEOPLE from all over the world. There was never a shortage of interesting conversations or vibrant characters from every walk of life..which made the experience even more memorabl Check-in and check-out were both smooth and HASSLE-FREE and ACCESS to the building is simple and secure. A huge thank you to the entire SAFESTAY BRIGHTON TEAM for making my stay such a POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. A special thank you to Charlie, Sara, Brooke, Max, Dee, Maryam and all. Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel at home..not just for me but for every guest I saw you greet :) I truly appreciated the kindness, respect and care shown throughout my stay. I’ve really made some wonderful memories and even some great friendships here. If you’re looking for a well maintained, modern, WELCOMING HOSTEL in the best location in Brighton with an amazing team behind it, Safestay Brighton is the place to stay. Si bien se nota que es un hotel antiguo, me he encontrado con un lugar muy cuidado. El personal fue muy amable. Volvería.

High hopes but this feel quite short in a number of ways. From the photos the room looked lovely and this did match up. However it did become apparent that aesthetics have been prioritised over other aspects. The pub/club opposite was still incredibly noisy at 2am (on a Tuesday) with the windows doing nothing to muffle the noise. There was fast food rubbish found next to one of the beds from a previous occupant, and this was quite a large wrapper that would have been difficult to miss during cleaning. Communication around bed preference was not good at all, I had specifically asked for a king (and have the evidence of this in my booking details) yet on arrival twin beds were set up. When I raised this with the company, there was no offer of rectifying this, instead I was told more than once that this had been the request. To add insult to injury, our neighbours in the room next door invited some friends to their room and it seemed they were having their own party at 3am with shouting, giggling and loud music and more than 5 in the one room. We knocked on the door in the end to request some quiet as, with the club outside, we were completely surrounded by noise. One small plus point that, once we managed to get to sleep, the bed (albeit the twin I hadn’t requested) was very comfortable.

Terrible experiences as hotel no a/c at all, I had slept in a hot temperature for all day and night, I checked with hotel reception as I was told they were informed all the booking platforms long time ago about the hotel under a/c maintenance work, but there is nothing mentioned on the trip.com when I booked the room and at the end, I had to cancel my stay and move to another hotel, although trip.com has been contacted for an assist but somehow, I had to work around all the alternative by myself

Habitaciones muy lindas acogedoras pero muy pequeñas

The self check in was a bit difficult at first as some of the codes didn't work but if you press the ring door bell then you get an answer and they are very helpful, the room was beautiful and the shower was lush! The fact there was a fridge was an amazing bonus cause it meant we could keep our leftovers from the restaurants fresh and keep our beers cold 😂 would highly recommend as its a 14 minute walk from the train station (literally walk in a straight line and you're there) and it's on the seafront with everything you could want or need within a 5 minute walk, will definitely be back
