The staff can never do enough for us every time we stay, we always have a great experience here, always very clean, it’s not like your usual hotel room, it’s a proper kitted out kitchenette style with everything you need to cook or wash your clothes and it’s always our first choice when staying in Brighton

I recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate my 40th birthday and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made me feel very welcome, and the check-in team kindly offered complimentary drinks for my son and me. I was delighted to find a bottle of red wine and a lovely birthday card waiting in the room, which made the celebration extra special. The room was beautiful with a stunning sea view, and I really enjoyed the coffee selection. The breakfast area was excellent, and the lounge was perfect for relaxing with a drink. They truly made my birthday special. All the staff and the concierge team were lovely . I would definitely recommend this hotel and will return for sure. Thank you, the Grand Hotel.

Nueva, moderna, cómoda y con una ubicación muy conveniente. Una excelente opción para estancias cortas. La habitación es pequeña pero muy funcional. La ropa de cama es cómoda incluso para quienes tienen el sueño ligero. La combinación de cama doble y cama individual es perfecta para familias. No olvide solicitar el código de descuento para el estacionamiento NCP que está enfrente.

Buen lugar Hotel lindo Tenemos una habitación de tamaño real que era agradable pero lo suficientemente grande Decorado hermosamente No parecía oír mucho ruido durante la noche Abajo -No hay mini refrigerador en la habitación -Sólo un toalla en el baño para toallas húmedas -Sólo parecía que se compartían zonas de cambio para piscinas -uno para hombres uno para mujeres- Me parece que se podrían añadir algunas habitaciones de cambio privados para la privacidad

A mi hija y a mí nos encantó el Hotel The Old Ship. La ubicación era perfecta: la playa está justo al cruzar la calle, el muelle a pocos minutos andando y las tiendas prácticamente a la vuelta de la esquina. Nuestra habitación (con dos camas individuales) era más grande de lo que esperaba. El té y el café con hervidor de agua estaban genial, ya que me moría de ganas de tomar una taza al llegar. Incluso nos dieron tapones para los oídos porque puede haber un poco de ruido por la noche (principalmente del gran hotel de enfrente). El baño era bastante grande, con bañera y ducha, y gel de ducha, champú y jabón de cortesía. La habitación estaba limpia y sin olores desagradables. Había ventilador, pero no lo necesitamos; la ventana entreabierta era suficiente. No pedimos una habitación con vistas al mar, pero se veía si mirabas a la derecha. Estábamos en la tercera planta y el ascensor no tiene ningún problema (ignoren otras reseñas). El desayuno estuvo genial, con una buena selección para todos los gustos. Una noche cenamos en el restaurante del hotel; ¡fue increíble! Y a un precio razonable. Había un montón de sitio para sentarse en la planta baja. El bar también estuvo genial. Tuvimos que guardar nuestro equipaje antes y después, y lo guardaron de forma segura, con una etiqueta numerada, y solo el personal podía acceder (a diferencia de otro hotel cercano que simplemente dejaba el equipaje cerca de recepción para que cualquiera pudiera acceder). Considerando el bajo precio que pagamos, el hotel fue realmente increíble. Personal encantador, limpieza total, habitaciones grandes, comida excelente, ubicación fantástica, ¡qué más se puede pedir! Volveré a reservar el año que viene. Mi madre podría venir con nosotros sin problema; usa andador, y el hotel sin duda sería adecuado para una persona con movilidad reducida.

Todo fue asombroso. La habitación estaba muy limpia, la cama muy cómoda, la ubicación es increíble y el personal es extremadamente amable. Nos lo pasamos muy bien en el hotel.

Last minute visit to Brighton & needed an overnight stay. The Holiday Inn is ideal as it is in a great location overlooking the beach and walking distance to shops & restaurants. There is parking available under the hotel which is also a must as parking is scarce in Brighton. Staff are friendly & helpful. My room was clean & my bed was very comfortable. On this occasion I didn't have breakfast but it was available at an extra cost of £14. An ideal place for my overnight stay. Would recommend.

High hopes but this feel quite short in a number of ways. From the photos the room looked lovely and this did match up. However it did become apparent that aesthetics have been prioritised over other aspects. The pub/club opposite was still incredibly noisy at 2am (on a Tuesday) with the windows doing nothing to muffle the noise. There was fast food rubbish found next to one of the beds from a previous occupant, and this was quite a large wrapper that would have been difficult to miss during cleaning. Communication around bed preference was not good at all, I had specifically asked for a king (and have the evidence of this in my booking details) yet on arrival twin beds were set up. When I raised this with the company, there was no offer of rectifying this, instead I was told more than once that this had been the request. To add insult to injury, our neighbours in the room next door invited some friends to their room and it seemed they were having their own party at 3am with shouting, giggling and loud music and more than 5 in the one room. We knocked on the door in the end to request some quiet as, with the club outside, we were completely surrounded by noise. One small plus point that, once we managed to get to sleep, the bed (albeit the twin I hadn’t requested) was very comfortable.

The location is perfect, you can’t ask for more. The cleaness level can be improved, and I found the laundry is empty. My room is quite hot during the heat, hotter than the normal room. I guess one reason is there is only one window can be opened and just a little bit. But the other day the window was opened a little bit more, and it feel cooler. There is no privacy for my bed (Room302). I think they placed the whole bed in a wrong way, anyone who enters the room can see me directly and there is no curtain. I used a towel to cover at the end. Hope staffs can fix this. All the staffs are welcomed and friendly. One more, it could be a bit noisy for some rooms cuz they’re facing the street.
