Overall the hotel was clean and organized. We had a very hard time locating the entrance of the hotel and wasted 20 minutes trying to find it. Aside from those concerns the hotel was very modern and looks newly renovated. It was a bit expensive since it had the weekend hike due to the flocking of customers but the place was worth it especially for travelers that just needs a place to crash in for the night.

Stayed at the 2-bed room during a short stop at this hotel with my friend. The hotel is clean and fairly spacious. Amenities such as towels and soap + shampoo were provided. The staff at the reception are friendly and helpful. There is luggage storage provided by the hotel.

Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, location is within 5mins walking distance to Family Mart, different eateries and bus-stops. It is also within 15mins walking distance to Yizhong Street. The only possible negative I can think about is that you will have to shower in the bath tub (there's no separate showering area outside of the tub), which may not be suitable for elderlies. Other than that, we really loved the relaxing ambience of the hotel. Would recommend.

Excellent stay in Zhong Ke hotel. Room is clean, spacious with comfortable bed and pillow. I had my parcel delivered much earlier than expected. Luckily the hotel receptionist help me to keep until my arrival. Really appreciate that!

YYH_AllenNo esperaba que este alojamiento fuera un motel basado en su nombre chino, así que fue un poco sorprendente cuando me inspeccioné.
La ubicación es muy conveniente, lo que es un gran acreedor. La habitación era espaciosa, pero para los huéspedes que llegaban a pie, la ruta de acceso no es muy intuitivadebe bajar al sótano primero y luego entrar por el garaje de estacionamiento, lo que hace que la circulación se sienta un poco incómoda.

Location wise is near to Taichung train station, but not so favorable for me as it’s not near to the high speed rail station or any other tourist spots except Miyahara ice cream. TTungBest resort in Taiwan and worth every penny. Highest level of service - it’s like being at a modern luxury ryokan in Japan except everyone speaks Chinese. Room design is brilliant, and one king room fit my family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers with a California king and a separate tatami area. The room has an epic view from every angle the moment you walk in the door and includes a private outdoor onsen connected to your bathroom. I noticed many private in-room onsens in Japan are diluted down, but this was spring fed. The public onsen was huge, extremely well maintained, and included a large walled zen garden with an adjacent sauna and cold plunge. I was lucky enough to experience this area all to myself with one other guest leaving as I arrived and another guest arriving as I was leaving. In China, this onsen would have comfortably accommodated 100 bathers. The spring water is not high in sulfuric content (doesn’t smell like rotten eggs), and the temperature is relatively mild - ideal for my family. Given the limited availability of the hotel online, I was expecting it to be more crowded. I got the sense that room rates are controlled to optimize guest experience, not profit, while staff are trained to ensure that customers never feel like they are being ripped off or “sold”. It seemed there were more staff than guests on site. I originally booked 2 rooms, and some of my family members couldn’t make the trip. We didn’t need the second room, and the staff were very gracious to refund and cancel the second room on the spot. When I’m back in Taiwan or traveling to a place where Hoshinoya does business, I would not hesitate to book again and make a special journey to stay at one of their destination resorts.

UUsuario anónimoLocation - I’m not sure if we just missed out on what’s nearby. But we did walk on the sides, we were searching around of what’s there to see. We didn’t see much, like we realized after walking for a few minutes that we just found the convenient store which is kinda far if that was the nearest available (or again, there could be one the other side we don’t know haha).
So after walking around, and realizing there’s nothing much to see. We already booked an Uber going to the night market.
It wasn’t that far from the HSR Station. I couldn’t remember the exact distance and travel time. But if I find it far I’d normally remember it and say it.
Service - it was an easy check-in and check-out. Though, I almost forgot to get a receipt. Had to proactively ask for one. Luckily we decided to stay for a bit after checking out, we remembered it and got to request for it.
I like how they already asked upon checking in if we need a room cleaning service. That was convenient.
The breakfast was so so (on my personal taste bud). Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t that bad.
I love the room the most! We were happy about how spacious it is. And it has an AI box which we loved. The bathtub has a tv, the shower area was spacious, the ambience of the room, hallways and lobby. The free snacks. The brand of the body wash and conditioner. The free Nescafe machine in the lobby.
I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stay here again.
(Though I still have a pending concern that I have to figure out myself, cause the amount showing in the invoice was different from the amount showing on tha app. Haven’t checked how much was the final amount taken out on my card)

TTiffytif17The room is as described and shown on the pictures. I gave a 4 for cleanliness as on first night, I found hairs on the bed & a hole on the bath towel. I reported to the staff via LINE (in Taiwan they use mainly LINE to communicate). They quickly took action and offered to change the bedsheets and clean the room. As I stayed for a week, they scheduled a housekeeping on day 4 of my stay. The soundproofing is not the best but if needed earplugs are provided in the room.
It was the winter in Taiwan when I was there so having a hot shower is important and the hot water is available. I like that there is water dispenser at each room level, rubbish and recycling bins are located outside so it is convenient.
The location of the inn is about 15 minutes walk from the Taichung Train Station. If you are carrying large luggage, advise to take a Uber. It is near to 一中街 (yizhong street) where you can find many shops, food, etc. From the inn, cutting through the open space carpark, you will be at the shopping area.
As a female solo traveller, at the start I was a bit concerned of the location of the inn. The entrance to the inn is in a alley, next to a bistro bar. You need the access card to enter the inn so that is find, just make sure it is lock after you enter. The front desk only operates from 11 am - 10:30 pm. There is an emergency hotline number to call for afterhour service. Using LINE to communicate with them is easy.
There's a cafe next to the inn where you can have breakfast with discount by showing your room card. If you want to travel to places, there are many buses. If not, it is easy to get Uber. For first time traveller to Taichung, he/she will not be aware that toilet paper cannot be thrown into the toilet bowl, so it is good to have a sign to show that.
Overall, the staff are friendly and helpful. For the price, it is value for money.

酒店硬件：係有一定年份，但我住嘅房間翻新過，而酒店嘅內部絕對同佢嘅外觀係兩回事。
房間：如果以價格去衡量已經係非常超值，不論係我一個人入住或情侶或兩公婆都夠大。冷氣、熱水、電視風筒等一齊正常。
早餐：佢會喺入住時問你進餐時段，但可能因為我係一個人住唔太影響，所以無需指定。食物種類非常多，日日轉下款，我唔明點解有啲評論話喺出面食78拾蚊台幣會好過呢度，你額外一個早餐酒店都只係收50台幣。反正佢有菜有粥、有沙律生果、雞蛋面包之類，肉類選擇有燒雞扒、泡菜豬腩、早餐腸同台式肉燥等。咖啡有某國際大牌子或者酒店特選嘅即磨已經算誠意可嘉。不過佢係需要自助收盤我就覺得奇怪啲，話晒都係酒店。
員工：態度非常親切有禮，登記入住以中英文溝通，詳細說明你嘅房間內容，諮詢你嘅需要及打掃安排。唯一出現嘅情況係我表明喺我瞓咗兩晚之後嘅第三日中午幫我換床品，最後係冇嘅，我估係做開嗰層嘅姐姐放咗假，頂替嗰個無換，因為佢拉直咗我啲被之後就將我比佢嘅貼士放返喺我枕頭度。雖然係咁，但未有影響到我嘅入住體驗，哈哈
