Una propiedad absolutamente preciosa en la mejor ubicación. Justo en la playa. Vistas increíbles, sobre todo del atardecer desde el jacuzzi del balcón. La pequeña piscina era encantadora para darse un chapuzón. Excelentes restaurantes cerca. Nos encantó este lugar por la distribución de las habitaciones, que permitió que nuestra hija adolescente tuviera su propia cama, y era como una habitación separada, lo cual fue genial para ella. Además, poder traer a nuestra perrita fue una novedad, y se portó de maravilla todo el tiempo. Sin duda volveremos. Recomiendo este lugar a cualquiera sin pensarlo dos veces.

Great hotel! Love the location right on the water and loved our view. Everything was very clean and modern, and the staff was very friendly. We had a super barbecue dinner at an elegant outdoor-seating restaurant just down the street. We also enjoyed exploring Dapeng Fortress (really a village) nearby. The only downside was it was very windy the day we were there. It is nice to be in the pedestrian area but know that means you will need to be dropped off and walk in to find the hotel (or there is a shuttle). Our portion of the beach was magical at low tide, a bit less nice at high tide. There was a roped off swimming area nearby.

This was a very nice hotel by the beach. The owners and staff can speak little and understand English. They have a super sweet dog. Perfect staycation. Close to the Dapeng Fortress. We will come back. The free breakfast was western style and very good. Their cafe latte excellent!

為了小朋友趕海住的較場尾，旁邊吃的東西很多，我們不吃海鮮，也能找到湘菜館，重慶小麪什麼的，口味不錯，這間房超級大，電視機還可以360度旋轉，小朋友愛慘了，還有一個外陽台，離趕海海邊比較近，走路七八分鐘。前台很棒，房內設施不是最好，但是也還可以。大鵬半島實在太大了😂

Amazing peaceful stay with helpful host 🌿
I stayed here as a solo female traveler from May 12 to May 15, and I had a lovely experience. The villa is located at the end of a field, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere with a beautiful sea view. My room was the Cloud Return Tranquil Inner Courtyard Double Bed Room—very clean, cozy, and perfect for unwinding.
The manager was incredibly kind and attentive. He chatted with me during my stay, gave me helpful local tips, and even assisted with laundry. His warm hospitality made me feel safe and well taken care of.

LLuxiaoxunNo me imaginaba que Huazhu tuviera un hotel de tan alta calidad. Es de alto nivel y tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio. La habitación es bastante amplia, y la ropa de cama es cómoda, lo que me permitió dormir muy bien. El café de goteo y el té que ofrecen son justo a mi gusto. La distribución del espacio es muy inteligente: el vestidor y el lavabo están frente a la ducha y el inodoro, formando una pequeña unidad relativamente cerrada. Así, si el baño tuviera algún olor (que no lo tenía), no se extendería al área del dormitorio. Además, ofrecen batas de baño, ¡que es el detalle que más valoro al reservar un hotel! Por la noche hay un servicio de cena ligera, y bajar a cenar en bata de baño fue una experiencia maravillosa. La ubicación es extremadamente conveniente, con la entrada del metro justo en la puerta principal. Sin duda, volveré a elegir este hotel en mi próxima visita.

UUsuario invitadoI was unexpectedly stranded at Shenzhen North (Shenzhenbei) during the busy holiday season and urgently needed a place to stay. After comparing several listings on Trip.com, this hostel stood out based on its reviews, and it fully lived up to my expectations.
The photos are accurate and reflect the property exactly as it is. The host prepared the bed sheets and pillowcases right in front of me, which immediately reassured me about the cleanliness. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Cleanliness is one of my top priorities when choosing accommodation because I value my health, and I felt completely comfortable staying here. I saw no pests or anything unhygienic, so if you’re concerned about that, you can rest easy.
The host speaks basic English and was very welcoming. Since I had just traveled from Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen North, he even kindly offered to show me around the area. There are plenty of food options nearby, I enjoyed Lanzhou noodles and stinky tofu just steps from the building.
For clarification, the hostel is located inside an apartment building and operates in a dorm-style setup. Shoes are removed at the entrance, and guest slippers are provided. There is a comfortable common area with a sofa and dining table, free drinking water, and complimentary toiletries including a toothbrush and disposable towel, which was especially helpful since I had forgotten to pack one. The bathroom is modern and equipped with a Western-style sit-down toilet.
Each bed has its own privacy curtain and personal light, which I appreciated. There are also power outlets conveniently located at each bed. Wi-Fi worked smoothly without any issues, and free laundry is available, which is a great bonus for travelers.
There are designated quiet hours, so you can sleep comfortably. During my stay, it was peaceful and no one snored. The host even asked whether I snore, which shows he is considerate of all guests.
The other guests were polite and respectful. I was the only foreigner staying there, and the rest were Chinese travelers who were likely in the same situation, unable to secure train tickets that night. The property is non-smoking, which I also appreciated.
The only minor downside is for taller guests. I am 183 cm (6 ft), and I had to curl up slightly since the bed length appears to be around 180 cm. It was manageable, but something to keep in mind if you’re tall.
The location is very convenient. It’s next to the train station, and you can easily take the subway if you have luggage. It only cost me 2 RMB to ride, so there’s really no need to take a taxi. In the morning, I bought pork steamed buns and soy milk from a nearby vendor, he was friendly, and the food was great.
For $4, this was outstanding value. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and convenient place to stay near Shenzhen North, this is an excellent option. Hopefully this review helps anyone considering staying in the area.

这家青旅位于一栋公寓楼内，是宿舍式布局。进门需要脱鞋，店家会提供室内拖鞋。公共区域有沙发和餐桌，提供免费饮用水，还有一次性牙刷和毛巾。我旅行时忘记带毛巾，这点对我来说非常贴心。卫生间是现代化的马桶，不需要蹲厕。
每个床位都有隐私帘和独立照明灯，床位旁边也有插座。Wi-Fi 信号稳定，没有任何问题。另外还提供免费洗衣服务，这对旅行者来说是很大的加分项。
店内有安静时间规定，所以晚上可以安心休息。我入住期间非常安静，也没有人打呼噜。老板还特意问我会不会打呼噜，可见他很照顾每位客人的感受。
其他住客都很礼貌、很安静。我是唯一的外国人，其他客人都是中国旅客，可能和我一样，当晚没买到火车票才临时入住。这里是无烟环境，我很喜欢这一点。
唯一的小缺点是对高个子来说床可能稍短。我身高183厘米（6英尺），需要稍微蜷着睡。床长大概180厘米左右，高个子可以提前考虑一下。不过整体来说还是可以接受的。
地理位置非常方便，就在火车站旁边。如果带行李，可以直接坐地铁到附近，我只花了2元人民币，完全没必要打车。第二天早上，我在附近买了猪肉包子和豆浆，老板也很友善，味道不错。
总的来说，4美元的价格性价比非常高。如果你在深圳北附近寻找一个干净、实惠又方便的住宿地点，这里是非常不错的选择。希望这条评价能帮到有需要的人。

LLondiDisfrutamos muchísimo de nuestra estancia. Las habitaciones estaban limpias y el personal fue muy atento. Recomiendo muchísimo su cena; el precio era muy razonable para lo que se servía y la comida estaba deliciosa. El fotógrafo también fue muy paciente con nosotros y nos tomó fotos impresionantes. La zona de la piscina y el bar tienen capacidad tanto para adultos como para niños, ¡un acierto! Sin duda me alojaría aquí de nuevo. Gracias al personal que nos atendió con rapidez; muy amable.

There are hotels you visit, and then there are hotels that leave an imprint on your soul. The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen, belongs firmly and unequivocally in the latter category. From the moment I stepped into its soaring lobby, I knew this would be one of those stays that redefines what luxury hospitality means.
Arrival and Reception
First impressions matter, and the reception team at the Mandarin Oriental understands this with an almost intuitive grace. Jason Zhu greeted me with the kind of warmth that felt less like a rehearsed welcome and more like being received by an old friend who just happens to have impeccable professional instincts. His attention to detail was extraordinary — he had noted my preferences before I could voice them, and the check-in process was so seamless it barely registered as a process at all. Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you.
The Club Skyline View Room
If the lobby whispered luxury, the Club Skyline View Room declared it in full voice. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty.
The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. The palette was calm and sophisticated, with rich textures and thoughtful layering that felt contemporary yet timeless in the way the Mandarin Oriental has always done best. The bed was, simply put, superb — the kind of bed that makes you reconsider every mattress you have ever slept on and find them all wanting. Linens were crisp and impossibly soft. The bathroom was a sanctuary of marble and glass, generously appointed with the brand's signature amenities, and the soaking tub positioned near the window offered what might be one of the finest bathing experiences in southern China. Accessing the Mandarin Club elevated an already exceptional stay into something truly rarefied. The lounge itself is a beautifully curated space — serene, sophisticated, and blessed with those same sweeping skyline views that make this property so special. But what transforms the Club from a lovely room with good canapés into a genuinely memorable experience is its people.
Chelsea Zhou is a revelation and deserves a special mention. Her hospitality instincts are pitch-perfect; she anticipated needs I hadn't yet articulated, and managed to be attentive without ever being intrusive — a balance that even the finest hotels in the world struggle to achieve. Priscilla Pang was equally impressive, radiating a genuine kindness and professionalism that made every interaction a pleasure. Whether it was the afternoon tea service, or the evening menu and cocktails, Chelsea and Priscilla ensured that every moment in the Club felt personal, polished, and quietly luxurious. La recepción fue eficiente y atenta en todo momento; no solo me ayudaron a hacer el check-in rápidamente, sino que también me actualizaron la tarjeta de la habitación de forma proactiva y me recordaron amablemente que podía contactarlos en cualquier momento si tenía alguna necesidad. La ubicación del hotel es excelente, a poca distancia a pie de la estación de metro y la estación de tren de alta velocidad, lo que hace que los desplazamientos sean muy convenientes. El vestíbulo es amplio y luminoso, y la buena ventilación da una sensación cómoda y elegante. La habitación en la que me alojé era excepcionalmente cómoda, espaciosa y luminosa, y al abrir la ventana se obtenía una vista expansiva que instantly alegraba el ánimo. Además, la variedad de almohadas era excelente y el servicio de todos los departamentos del hotel fue muy considerado. El personal del lounge fue particularmente rápido en responder, y mis solicitudes siempre se atendieron de inmediato, además de ofrecer recomendaciones de lugares turísticos. La experiencia de alojamiento fue perfecta, los detalles mostraban calidad, y la próxima vez que venga a Shenzhen, ¡este seguirá siendo mi hotel de primera elección!

When you go out, you will easily be greeted with a lot of food and restaurant options. Train is also accessible.
The front door is located infront of the street with cars so when you use didi, you can directly be dropped off into the front door.
When we first came, we were confused cause the elevator can’t go up to 14th floor. Apparently, there are 3 elevators in the first floor but only 2 on the left can be used to go up to 14th floor. The right elevator wont open at the 14th floor because it is where the reception of the hotel is placed.
When we went, we were asked if we are okay with one computer only. As someone who wasn’t planning to use the PC, I said it’s okay. However, when we went to the room, having 1 computer also meant we got the smaller room cut. I was so frustrated cause I read all reviews of a lot of hotels and really searched for a big cut room because we have big luggages and we were there for Christmas. I pipped on a room that was vacant when we checked in and it was a lot bigger than our room (same room type, just no pole and have 2 PCs) Mostly because our room also has this huge building pole that consumed a lot of space also.
The reception was nice and friendly though. She helped us carry our bags. However, the room itself was clean but you can smell the particles/dust of smoke that the previous user left. It isn’t direct smoke smell but as someone who is very allergic to smoke, our nose can pick up the particles itself like the dust that came from the cigar specially in the computer chair. So it didn’t smell like cigar but the particles left made us allergic and sneezing for the entire stay.
I told the reception the next day and they cleaned and used a device to remove smoke in the room. I really appreciated this since it lessen out sneezing throughout the night.
However, the smoke smell was evident when you go out of the room. Most probably because other guests are smoking outside or at the reception itself. Kind of sad because it says in the listing that this property was a non-smoking room. Which if they said that someone is able to smoke, I wouldn’t even consider the property in the first place.
Contrary to other reviews, I saw a robot in the basement that was able to deliver food by itself. I’m not sure if it can go up to the hotel because we didn’t try but the robot was functioning and was able to deliver food in other floors.
Overall, the stay was great. Amenities were there such as shampoo, soap, toothbrush, slippers, bathrobe and others. Just frustrated because we got a smaller room cut (the image looks big because of mirrors) and smells like cigar even though I also noted in my booking that I have a very bad allergy towards cigarette.
Oh, and the other reviews were right, if you are sensitive to noise, you need to double think before booking because the cars and the street noise can really be heard in the room. For someone who is not sensitive to noise that much, it wasn’t a concern for me.
The pillows and bed was great and comfortable :) There’s also a refrigerator in the room.
