A Sanctuary When I Needed It Most I arrived in Taiyuan not feeling well and ended up staying seven nights without ever leaving the room. Labor Day holiday, full DND stretches, just me and delivery apps. And honestly? It was exactly what I needed, and this hotel made it possible. Let me start with the moment that defined this stay. My housekeeper came in most days to refresh the room, and each time I'd ask for the same drinks. After a few days he just knew -- knew what I wanted, knew I wasn't feeling well. He'd heard me coughing while he cleaned and was clearly paying attention. On my last day, when I had DND up and didn't want any service at all, he quietly left a bag of my favorite drinks outside the door anyway. No knock, no disruption. Just a person who had been paying attention all week and wanted to take care of me. That kind of warmth doesn't come from a training manual. I won't forget it. The room itself held up beautifully for a long stationary stay. Clean, accurate to the photos, well-appointed. Floor-to-ceiling windows, two bathrooms, excellent shower pressure, generous storage, a proper tea set, and a beverage bar housekeeping kept replenished without being asked. The slippers were genuinely excellent -- better than some five-star properties I've stayed at. For seven nights of recovery during a national holiday, this hotel and its people delivered everything that mattered.

Stayed in the hotel in September 2025 for four nights. Room was modern and had an open concept design. Hot water and WiFi worked well, and cleaning was done very well. She was exceptionally bubbly and approachable, and was not only the highlight of the hotel, but gave me one of the best services of any accommodation across the world. Regarding location, the hotel was located around 10-15 minutes by taxi from the main high-speed rail station. The only critique I would note is that the air-conditioning in the room was somewhat weak. Overall, the hotel offered good value for money and excellent service, and I am happy to stay again.

This is a luxurious hotel. The rooms don’t look or feel like a hotel room. They feel like home away from home. The soundproofing is great and it is always a quiet yet the hotel room has a door separating the room from the hallway leading to the front door. That way you are insulated from any noise from outside, which is often a problem at other hotels. The air-conditioning system is very quiet and works perfectly. We slept well there. I would stay at this hotel for breakfast alone. As you walk by the buffet, it just keeps going. It took me more than a minute to walk from one end of the buffet to the other. The variety of dishes is staggering. I have never seen anything like this in my life. The quality of the dishes is superb as well. I will remember their steamed dumplings for a long time… Many of the other dishes were exotic and very interesting. It was the best hotel I stayed at during my trip. And unforgettable experience.
