I must have believed all the negative reviews that were given before I book. I had requested for an early check in as I was having a long flight and the hotel didn’t reply to my request, hence I assumed that it wouldn’t be an issue. I arrived at 8:30 am to the hotel and was told by the receptionist that the earliest that she can give me my room is at 11 am, I told her that I requested an early check in for a reason but I was told to wait until 11 am. When it was 10 am, I went again and asked whether there is an empty room since so many people were checking out and she replied by saying that I will be receiving my room after 12pm!!!! As if she didn’t care about me already waiting for more than 2 hours at their lobby. She was rude and I had to deal with her with the same attitude and she didn’t even bother to apologise. In the end I had to pay extra to get a twin room instead as I was told this is the only type of room that is available.
Whilst entering the room I realised that it was dirty, the floor was sticky, the carpet was not well vacuumed, the water bottle that they provided was not clean, the bed sheets were having dirty spots everywhere and it was really uncomfortable but I didn’t have another choice as I was tired. Additionally, I was also shocked that the toilet was not clean enough and I had to clean it before using it. This was my worst experience ever in Kuala Lumpur and I will not repeat the visit to this hotel.
