We spent a couple of nights here with our 5 year old and had a lovely time. We wanted to leave a review to balance out some of the other reviews and so we’ll focus on the positives only. Worth reading a few reviews to get a holistic view but one thing I’d say is this isn’t a place to ‘avoid’ in our opinion. We felt it was a beautiful place to spend a few days as part of maybe a longer trip around Borneo. That’s from the perspective of having kids. Maybe couples would stay longer. Photos show the view from the pool in the morning when the water is up - it is STUNNING! Water crystal clear. When the water goes out later in the day, the beach is exposed and our son spent a lot of time playing there digging. We were there 30th Aug - 1st Sept and weather was perfect. Hot!! Sun is really strong here, cover up! Wake up for sunrise if you fancy a beautiful view! Rooms comfy and good space. Staff are generally lovely. The most beautiful people. A particular shout out to the water sports staff, the female manager (I think she’s called Rosie), and the staff who help you on and off the boat, thank you Raj for the recommendation to get an Uber! We loved the snorkelling - perfect with an adventurous 5 year old who saw lots of fish but it wasn’t too deep. You can snorkel from the sunbeds and grab a paddle board - great fun! Our air con didn’t work in the first room (I think this is rare) and we were moved swiftly to a new room. Air con was great after that and slept well in it. We heard great things about Cove restaurant - we didn’t go as kids under 12 not allowed but the food sounded very good. We always got sun beds around 8/9am but understand that later in the day they might be taken. We didn’t get a chance to go to the private beach and see the rescue turtles but next time we would do. The real gem for us of this place is the view from the sunbeds as per pics. Read a few more reviews to see if it’s right for you as we focus here on the positives! AMERICANTE! Vine a permanecer para relajarse y subir - ambos superaban mis expectativas! La habitación en el agua fue increíble. Super cómoda cama, hermosa ducha. Incluso una tortuga nadar bajo mi habitación. Subí al Centro de División de Gayana en casa por 2 días. Richie el Divemaster era tan tranquilo y conocido. Nunca me sentí tan fácil de sumergir. Vine aquí a sumergirme otra vez y me quedaría si regresara este lado o el mundo. Qué lugar maravilloso. ¡Gran escenario, maravilloso Dive School, gran comida, Greta paddle-boarding (gratuito) & excelentes tratamientos de spa! Gracias por una estancia agradable. (Es una vergüenza acerca de la lluvia del mar provocada por las lluvias/tormentas, no por la culpa de los resortes. Se limpian diariamente, pero más viene de más campo)z

It was an amazing journey and enjoyable stay at the Island.We were pick-up and transferred to Bungaraya Resort at ***a Island from Jesselton Jetty in a big ferry owned by Bungaraya Resort .. there were only 4 passengers but i felt safe enough in that big ferry .. the sea was quite rough at that time.The service from registration at Bungaraya ferry point to the resort was superb.. they will carry all your suitcase from their office at the Jesselton Jetty until to your room at the Island. Thanks to Rizal and other Managerial staff of Bungaraya Resort our stay was wonderful and the Bungaraya Resort and surrounding was breathtakingly beautiful

He tenido el privilegio de permanecer en numerosos Shangri-La en todo el sureste asiático, y este particular se sentía algo fechado y en gran necesidad de modernización. Puedo ver señales de mejoras en el progreso, con secciones que parecen haber recibido ya un ascenso facial. En mi primer día, me aventure en la sauna, sólo para encontrar la temperatura tan caliente que ni siquiera podía preparar un sudor. Me gustaba la estancia, pero para que este hotel permaneciera en una estrella de cinco estrellas hay espacio para mejorar.

Todo está bien excepto el vidrio y el muelle. Imma un poco chocado por ver el muelle y el vidrio son sucios antes de querer usarlo. Pensé que quizás el cuidador olvidó lavarlo 😌 en general está bien, tq.

Serio!!! La habitación es muy limpia y temprana. Es que el sentimiento de estar en casa incluso si está lejos de su propio hogar. Debo decir que es muy conveniente moverse a la ciudad, el e-hailing es fácil de conseguir. La comida es sólo un toque lejos de nuestro teléfono. No hay quejas, ya que tengo un buen descanso de noche antes de nuestro vuelo.. por cierto, el aeropuerto es sólo una distancia a pie si te gusta tener un paseo .. sólo una sugerencia para los regalos

La habitación es muy buena, pero me decepciona un poco porque mi solicitud de habitaciones es vista a la ciudad.Reservamos para 3 habitaciones, sólo 1 habitación tiene vistas a la ciudad.

EVERYTHING WAS FINE UNTIL THE TIME WE WANNA HAD DINNER AT 8 PM ON THAT DAY WE ARRIVED. ALL MEALS ARE CLEARED AND THEY DIDN'T REFILL TILL WE HAD TO ORDERED GRAB FOOD FROM OUTSIDE. AND BAD SERVICES FROM WAITERS.

Una habitación limpia y limpia, el paisaje del mar es bueno, la piscina es también grande, el tiempo está perdido! El otro lado del edificio es el mercado de frutas del mar, el mercado nocturno, muy cerca! ¡Unos minutos de camino a un gran centro comercial! ¡El tipo de hotel de apartamentos, los suministros básicos de la cocina de lavandería tienen! ¡Comparado con nuevos ¡El aeropuerto llegó a la carrera y se acabó 8 mn!

Muy decepcionado.. No sé por qué el personal dice que la televisor remoto se ha ido.!!! entonces yo libero mi depósito RM50,,,para el personal bastardo,,si quieres tomar d RM50, sólo déjame saber y no reclamar o cargarme como un ladrón para robar U televisor remoto ... Sólo deja que esa persona que mi habitación verifique esa vez,, No voy a dejar que U vaya tan fácilmente ...”berani but beani tanggung,tolong jangan menüsal ...”
