El Kanok Buri es un buen hotel y su ubicación es muy especial, lo que le permitirá estar ”en calma*” y en la playa. * No hay malos daños acústicos relacionados con insectos y animales de cualquier tipo. El restaurante del hotel es bueno y en los precios del hotel, aparte de los cocktails a 300bath que yo encuentro caro, pero son muy buenos. Venga a las habitaciones y chalets las habitaciones son viejas como la mayoría de los hoteles tailandeses con presupuesto medio, las chalets son también viejas. Funcionalidades de la habitación bien, pero la sdb tiene problemas la ducha es pequeña y funciona a la mitad el baño jacuzzi funciona, pero no hay que presionar porque el flujo de agua es bajo. Para el chalet todo esto, excepto que el sdb es más funcional, pero con el mismo flujo de agua. Property en los 2 todo es limpio las camas, las cubiertas del suelo, etc. sólo punto débil de su limpieza las duchas y baños muestran alguna pista de polvo o arena, etc. Mi opinión personal es un buen hotel, pero sólo limpiar un poco las duchas y baños.

We arrived early in the hotel and were able to get our room already. It was nicely decorated for our honymoon. The employee are very kind and helpfull, should you have any questions. The room and the hotel itself are a bit outdated, but everything was proper and clean! Our shower head was broken and we didn’t have warm water. We reported this and it was fixed immediately, everything was working fine afterwards! The beds are less hard if you compare it with other places, but still not soft. No topper available, but they prepare something with blankets, which helped a bit. A little gym area is present to do some work out. Breakfast is simple,but fine. (eggs, sausage, toast,milk, cornflakes, coffee/tea/juice/water, jam, fresh fruit). Location wise: it depends on what you want. Some little restaurants and shops are in the neighborhood. We wanted some quit area. If you want more like a small village, you need to travel a bit. Around the pool and on the beach different sun beds are available. Partly with a matras, which are good. Other beds are a bit less comfortable and in need of replacement. There might be a shortage of sun beds, if more guests decide to go to pool/beach.

We stayed at Lipa Bay Resort for 8 nights. Our room was on the third floor (which is accessible by stairs only) with a nice view of the ocean. We liked our room - it was big, comfortable, nice bathroom and deck. We found it quiet at night time and the air con worked great. The only thing we didn’t like was that we found the bed a bit too hard. The location was great. It is located right in the middle of Lipa Bay and the beach is beautiful. There is a lovely pool at this hotel, but only 7 lounge chairs. If you didn’t get a lounge chair by breakfast time they’d be pretty much unavailable for the rest of the day. To the south along the beach and road are some good restaurants. We particularly liked Kaew Thai and Mom’s Kitchen. Good food! The hotel has a restaurant where we had breakfast every morning and had lunch there on one occasion. The breakfast menu is somewhat limited - choice of hot drink, choice of cold drink and one entree - eggs, cereal, pancake or Thai dishes, and white toast. The hotel had scooters and bicycles available to rent. We rented scooters and enjoyed exploring the island. Our favourite spot was Taling Ngam Beach and the Island View Restaurant which is right on that beach. Great food! Idyllic beach perfect for swimming! It was about a 20 minute scooter ride from our hotel. Overall, this was a very nice, clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff who were very helpful. We would stay there again.

Having visited Kho Samui multiple times over the last 15 years, we had never stayed in this area. I would say, we could not have made a better choice of hotel (and I walked along the beach and no where looked as good). We started our 3 week trip to Thailand here and enjoyed it so much that we came back and finished our holiday here. Food and drink were reasonably priced and the facilities at the hotel ticked all the boxed (only thing missing was massages on the beach). We did have issues with the AC in our room the 1st visit but I seen a new unit getting fitted in that room on our return. Staff were all excellent and I would definitely stay here again in the future. Its a beautiful part of the island , very quiet and away from the noise of Lamai and Chewang. if possible, get yourself a beachfront room, we stayed in a Seaview room but you don't get much of a view.

Honestamente, fue la mejor vacaciones de mi vida - hermosa playa, cómoda habitación, deliciosa comida y bebida, incluyendo desayuno, y algunos de los más cuidadosos y atentos personal (incluyendo el gerente Pishai). Desde alquiler de coches, transferencia de aeropuerto, servicio de habitaciones, toallas extra - nada fue un problema. También hay un gimnasio muy razonable en el sitio. Inmejorable trato. Bonitas instalaciones. Buen desayuno. Escogimos este hotel por estar cerca del puerto ya que llegamos de noche. Nos vinieron a buscar al mismo y al día siguiente nos llevaron a otro hotel que teníamos (este trayecto pagando). Escogimos la cápsula ya que solo pasábamos por allí para dormir, pero las villas se veían muy bonitas. La piscina muy bonita también, en medio de todas las villas. En las cercanías no hay apenas ambiente, es para estar relajados. El desayuno es en frente del hotel y tienen 7 variedades diferentes, no es buffet. Se nos rompió la maleta y el dueño nos ayudó a arreglarla. ¡Muy recomendable!
