I do not recommend this place to anyone. We have read the reviews and thought it’ll be fine, but turned out, the negative comments are true! Broken furniture, dirty room, mouldy bathroom and corridor + leakege on the corridor which who knows where has come from, no coffee or a kettle can be found in the room, the telephone is not working, the pool tiles are in pieces, the staff is friendly as long as you do not complain. When we arrived the human dirt was all over the bar and the elevators, could not believe it, but my fiancé succesfully stepped into it and it was not cleaned until the next day morning then next day the explanation was that it came from a baby. This was at 11pm, I don’t know what a baby would do at the bar… We notified the staff during the night when we got the information that the poo is everywhere and our complaint will be handled the next day, so we had to stay at the hotel. In the morning we checked out and talked to the General Manager regarding the refund when he said we should turn to *********** because they did not receive our payment yet - which turned out to be a lie but they will of course compensate the days which we didn’t spend there - turned out to be a lie as well. He also mentioned that he is fully aware that it is NOT a 4 star hotel and returning to work there after 15 years, the place has not changed at all.. but to phrase him “what can we do at least we have the view” After several calls with booking, we visited the place again to get an official letter of waiving the cancellation fee, but the GM has started to shout and threaten to call the police if we do not leave his office. So altogether, it was a stressful and a complete waste of time, receiving 50% of the entire amount for one night.
