We have just enjoyed a lovely 15 nights at this hotel. The hotel setting and the gardens are absolutely beautiful. The location is fantastic for both the beach and the shops, restaurants and bars. Both pools are lovely and maintainence work is being carried out every day. The view from our bedroom was stunning Room B214. At the back you could see the beautiful mountains and from the balcony was the pool at the front and the road outside. The road could be busy but it never disturbed us. The beds were comfortable. The bedding was changed 3 times during our 15 night stay. The room was dated but freshly painted and functional. The wardrobe was small. The bathroom wasn’t nice. After a week I complained because no one had cleaned the bathroom, changed towels or taken the rubbish out. I had already taken sterilising tablets with me after reading the reviews but this didn’t touch the mold so we had to buy bleach from the local supermarket. When I left yesterday my bathroom was clean. No mold. The shower hose had gone from black and slimy to silver. The cleaning techniques at the hotel do need looking at. The cleaning lady showers the whole bathroom and then scrapes the water off the floor using something similar to a window squeegee. This is what is causing the mold. A similar theme continued outside the hotel. Every morning they would wet everywhere with a hose pipe and then squeegeed it off. It just pushed the dirt around they would have been better off using a mop. The staff were all friendly some you had to speak to first but that is just individual personalities they weren’t rude or unhelpful. The owner was a lovely man it was his birthday while we were there. Every day he asked all the guests how they were and was everything okay. When I expressed concerns about my bathroom the man on the reception quickly rectified the situation. By the end of the holiday we were quite friendly with our cleaning lady she was lovely. I didn’t have an issue with communication or language barriers at this hotel and we actually enjoyed being the only English guests there it was nice. The other guests mainly German were also friendly. The All Inclusive package was limited. Breakfast, lunch and dinner and coffee and cake around 5. Bar closes at 10. The bar man works extremely hard. The dishwasher was broken so I am sure if that was fixed it would be a lot easier for staff. Soft drinks, water, beer and wine were provided, no spirits or cocktails. Sometimes you would have to have a plastic glass as they had run out of the others. The plates and bowls in the dining room were plastic also. Food was basic and limited. Usually a stew of some kind and rice or pasta and fresh salad and bread. Desserts were apples, oranges and cake. The dining area in my opinion would benefit from a deep clean. There are lots of cats roaming about but I enjoyed feeding them so I can’t complain. All in all we had a pleasant relaxing vacation at a very good price :)

Don’t know where the 3 stars come from. If you like to actually stay at the hotel during trips, don’t book this one. The air conditioning didn’t work at our room the first two nights. The other room’s electricity didn’t work at all and they were really hesistant to give us another room, it was 3 am when we came and they came to ”fix” the electricity 2 times saying it works until we had enough and demanded to get another room. Nobody speaks english at the reception, only turkish and russian (it is a russian hotel which we didn’t know when booking) so communication was through Google translate. The rooms were cleaned only once during our weeks’s stay but they didn’t change the sheets or the towels, there wasn’t hand towels at all in one of the two rooms we had. We had to go ask for toilet paper because they don’t stack those either. Bathrooms are dirty. We paid 30€ for wifis for 3 people and unfortunately it didn’t work at all the last day there. The hotel would be nice if they renovated the whole place and the staff would be more eager to make the stay feel good as it should be. Even a trip organizer downtown said we booked the worst hotel in Kemer.

I visited Ares Dream Hotel in Kemer, Antalya, on the 21st of September for a 10-night stay with my friends and had a terrible experience. There was a very unhelpful receptionist by the name of Kadif. He was a rude member of staff who had given me my room key and left me to find the room myself. There was no lighting on the stairs, and when I returned to the reception, he responded by shouting at me and told me that I am illiterate and need to learn English. My experience went from bad to worse when I eventually found the room that we had been assigned by the hotel. The beds were of poor quality, and broken springs could be felt. The room was dirty, and falling asleep was impossible due to the condition of the room and the stench. There was no hot water in the shower, and the bathroom was in a poor state, not fit for humans to live in. I suffered from mosquito bites all over my body, and my friends also suffered, which resulted in our legs being sore and swollen during the course of this holiday. We always felt under duress as we were scared to speak, as this receptionist told us, "Once you get your room, you are unable to change it," and we had no option but to listen to him. If you are from England, this is not the hotel you want to stay in, as Ares Dream Hotel guests are mostly Russian and German-speaking. I was convinced that this hotel was not as described on the website. I met a few tourists who were not happy with the hotel service and the living conditions. We was all inclusive however the menu is very limited and you have cats running around the dining area which is not hygienic.

Do not go to this hotel. Would not recommend this to anyone. The rooms are very dirty, with mould all over the walls and the tiles in the bathroom are discoloured and full of mould. The smell of the room gave me and my brother a sore head within 30 minutes of being there. The beds were full of hair and stains. The only plug socket was hanging off the wall with exposed wires. The staff don’t speak English so we had to communicate via google translate. We eventually moved to another hotel as we could not stay here anymore. Giving 1 star to this hotel is generous and when we brought our concerns up at reception, we were told that we would “get a nice room in the morning”. This is no way to treat guests. This hotel will make you ill and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Rooms are filthy no towels and you have to ask reception for toilet roll which is a task in itself no English speaking staff .Restaurant is full of cats food is awful no hygiene standards whatsoever. Was there a week didn't see a cleaner once only good thing about this hotel was the location how it can be given a 3* grading I really don't know have seen cleaner hostels.

Do not bother coming to this hotel unless you are fluent in Russian. The hotel is fine, food is good I just wasn’t made aware that this was a Russian speaking resort. Will definitely do more research next time.

I recommend any guests to absolutely not stay at this hotel. The hygiene is absolutely terrible, upon arrival we found we had dirty bed sheets and saw a cockroach crawling across our bed. We asked to move rooms and they told us we would not be able to move for two days. When we asked two days later they said they could not move us at all meaning we had to stay in a cockroach ridden, mouldy and damp room. We also had to ask for the room to be cleaned and for new towels and bedding to which the staff were rude and unhelpful. As two female guests we were harassed by the staff constantly, and the staff also did nothing to stop harassment from other guests. We were also charged €20 for a day of wifi which was not specified before we arrived, we then tried to purchase a SIM card which our English tour guide told us was worth €30 and hotel staff tried to charge us €50, they consistently lied and tried to scam us as we could not speak Turkish. Instead we went to the local turkcell store and bought a sim card with the same 20GB for €23. The salad and carbs were okay but there was not really a great selection of food either. The only good thing about this hotel was the location and pool, however I would strongly recommend anyone considering staying at this hotel books elsewhere.
