We had a disappointing experience at HOB: 1. Photos attached - the toilet was not cleaned. 2. There were fluffs of dirt and hair pushed to the corners in the room bathroom and next to the washing machine. 3. The room smelled musty and of the previous cooking/use of kitchen and should have been aired. This is what we did when we arrived which improved air circulation. The cleaners need to be trained and/or do a much better job. We received an email for feedback from HOB, and sent the above but have not had a response from them (it has been 7 days).

Great position. Easy access to restaurants and shopping as well as to the sights of Newcastle! The appar**ent is well set out with all the conveniences. Will be staying again! (Costs involved for off street parking)

I was a bit baffled by some of the poor reviews of this place on Google. For the price, you cannot beat the space, facilities and comfort this flat offers. The checkin information was clear and efficient. The bed was incredibly comfy and so useful to have a washing machine. Yes, the pub across the road was pretty noisy on Friday night so maybe avoid if you’re very noise sensitive, but otherwise, I’d definitely recommend. Try staying at a UK hotel for twice the price, a quarter of the space and no window, then you’ll see what a bad hotel is like!

The apar**ent was very nice inside & we even got some washing done. Wifi has free & had good signal. For the price you pay, you get a real nice base in Newcastle. The issues were on street parking nearby, which while free, was always taken & we had to walk about 10 minutes to the car. The checkin is a bit tricky & the instructions provided should actually include a picture or step by step with some images. We did work it out, but yeah, just my suggestion. The room was also letting in a bit of light at night time & it is not easy to get it nice & dark for sleeping.

Communication with host worked well and they were very helpful and accommodating. The apar**ent was well-equipped, clean and comfortable. We would hear street and train noise but it was not intrusive. The washer/dryer was very useful.
