MacDougall Clansman Hotel

不要被這間家庭旅館的門面和老舊的前廳嚇到，住了3晚，被經營者的務實和誠懇打動了。在這幾年嚴峻的形勢下，他們優先裝修了餐廳和客房裡的衞生間，切實地提升了旅客的入住體驗而不是做表面文章。早餐的品質也非常出色，即點即作，新鮮可口。

We arrived early having arranged to drop our bags, but were given an upgraded room instead. The room was comfortable and clean, with fresh towels & tea/coffee refreshed daily. The hotel is traditional and very charming and located within walking distance of everything including bus and train stations. Our host Iain McDougall was so helpful and accommodating, from the time we booked to the day we left. We particularly appreciated the extra security of how the main entrance door to the hotel was locked yet were provided a key so we could come & go. Certainly not what one sees in big chain hotels. Breakfast was delicious served in a cozy dining area. We had to leave earlier on our last day to catch our bus, and Iain set up an ample continental breakfast and was there to personally serve it to us. We would definitely stay here again!! As per most of the reviews,i received a warm welcome from ian,and thereafter at breakfast time.The hotel is great for the average traveller,not five star but,does not pretend to be. Great location just one street up from the river ness,bang in amongst all the pubs and restaurants.Will stay here again if i come back to inverness.

One of the most comfortable hotels I've stayed in. Family owned and operated, Ian, the operator is such a welcoming person - quick to assist and answer any questions. In travelling the country, this is the cleanest hotel I think we stayed in. It isn't ultra modern, but is quaint and just a joy to stay in. Decent internet, and a very nice breakfast put this over the top. A convenient place to stay in Inverness. If I shall be so fortunate to return to Inverness, I will come back.

Comfortable room, pleasant staff, excellent location. Parking is an issue. There is limited one-hour parking on the street for £2, and free overnight. There is a nice inexpensive parking garage about two or three blocks away.

Decent place but a little tired. The bed was small and uncomfortable, but the host was very friendly and the location very good.

Charming bed and breakfast in a great location. Management was kind and helpful with advice for the city, and called to make a taxi reservation for me for a ride to the airport. The dining room was set up to the nines, and the food options for breakfast were varied and quite good. My room was large enough and comfortable. It's near shopping and restaurants, as well as the bus and train stations. It really was a lovely stay.

This is a family run hotel that met my needs perfectly. It was a very easy walk from the Inverness train station with lots of shopping, restaurants, and sites within walking distance. Leaky Bookstore is very close too! The gentleman who runs the hotel is fantastic. He insisted on carrying my suitcase up the stairs. Service was excellent, and breakfast was lovely. If I visit Inverness again, I will definitely book this hotel again!

Loved our stay at the MacDougall Clansman. We were only in Inverness for two nights and this was the perfect location. Walking distance from many shops, pubs, and restaurants. There isn't an elevator and I had large luggage. Iain was really sweet to carry it up the stairs for me. The breakfast each morning was the best we had in all our stay in Scotland. I would stay here again.
