River Trail Cottages

Fantastic stay, absolutely loved it. We were in cottage #24 the last one right next to a meadow. We saw deer every day in the meadow and out in front of our cottage at night. Beautiful views of the river. We loved the room very comfortable. There is no closet thought so pack accordingly. There is s small place to hang clothes. We spent most of our time on the balcony with views of the river. Very quiet and peaceful so you have to want that. The only issues we had as internet is not that great so don't go expecting to get a lot of "work" done. The tv was hard to figure out we called the office and Prescilla ( wonderful helpful person, we loved her) came right over to help us figure the tv out. This place is a special secret. Can't wait to go again

We stayed at this establishment for three days with two other couples. Our units were very nice - comfortable, clean, convenient to places around town and right on the river. Places to eat were in easy walking distanced. We had only 2 complaints. The first is the door to the bathroom would not latch. The second is the owner wanted to charge us $30 to use the common room. Specifically, during our visit, it was kind of rainy. The units do not have a table large enough (or enough space) for six to play cards or a board game. We called the owner to ask if we could use the common room (which was unoccupied) and she would allow us to use it only if we paid $30.

Our family rented 4 cottages and 1 RV spot. Rooms were clean, beds actually super comfortable, good wi-fi, convenient to the river, Mary's Tacos across the street was perfect breakfast option and within walking distance. On-site Management was friendly, helpful and always willing to get us things we forgot (trash bags, extra towels, etc.) 10 out of 10 recommend!
