NinetyNine Amsterdam Airport

I thought it was a little closer to the airport than it was. It looks like it’s on the edge and you could maybe walk but it’s either a taxi or short bus journey. If you’re travelling in the day the bus isn’t a problem however if you’re travelling at night the taxi costs €25 even though it’s only 5 minutes! Clean and friendly staff!

The location is great, 5-10 mins direct bus to the airport. The room is very nice, clean and comfortable, love the design and little details. Not much of food options for dinner at the restaurant but price is reasonable, breakfast buffet is great. Only one downside is the flexibility for early check-ins is very limited and non negotiable. Check in time is 3pm, arrived hotel at 2:15pm, the receptionist insisted even the room is ready but request 10-20 Euro for any early check in.

I would NOT recommend staying here, mainly due to the untrustworthy, lying staff members, one in particular the Italian supervisor who lost my icepacks for medical items I was taking to South Africa. Some have mentioned he and his Afghani colleague deliberately lost my icepacks which were for medical items being taken to South Africa, this was after a dispute regarding being allowed to use the washer / dryer. The reception team on two separate days advised me I could use the washer / dryer at a €10,00 charge, and when I went to request to use the machine he refused, no apology, the conversation was heated and then the next again morning I went to collect my icepacks and they were suddenly nowhere to be found! This did not come as a surprise as I was told by 2 different staff that they do not like him. So, in light of this after registering an email with the hotel brand and a large charge for over €1000,00 I will leave it with my lawyer and the hotels legal team to resolve this and give me the due compensation for replacement of the medical items that I could not keep cool and were ruined. They both showed no care, consideration, consistency in what services the hotel offers guests, and the Italian fool should not be allowed to work with guests. He has the complete wrong attitude with people, a mistake they will pay dearly for. I would NOT recommend staying there, mainly due to you just never know what he and the Afghani guy will do with your possessions, when you go out, charges etc. He needs to go back to Italy and learn manners and how to provide customer service, he also seems to just sit on his telephone watching movies / YouTube and then going for cigarettes, this I would not be wanting as part of my team as he seems to do nothing. Getting paid to look at his mobile, smoke, stay in the hotel and getting paid to do what, easy life he knows he has! You stay there at your own risk.

This time we got a gorgeous room, which makes me feel like I want to return , hope next time is the same and I’ll keep returning for sure 🥰💕

It’s a bit far from city which is bit difficult to travel around nights

Really near the airport. It was so convenience to me. Unfortunately you need to pay extra parking fee.

Nicely designed hotel with great breakfast and helpful staff. My room was facing an inside yard, so no noise at all from planes and/or traffic. Very easy and quick to go to the airport by bus.
