Lovely stay for New Year, friendly locals, great Nook beer and drinks selection, though could be cheaper.
Above all the staff are a credit to this place, absolutely superb.
Half hour walk downhill into Holmefirth and £6.50 in a cab back up the hill if you don’t fancy the Walk.
Above the kitchen so Radio could be heard, not an issue for us but may be for light , early sleepers in Holme Moss.
Could have done with the room being service during 4 nights but not a deal breaker and any requests were met with smiles and efficiency
Would definately stay again

The room was lovely, the food was lovely, the hospitality was friendly & welcoming.
Perfect location & only 5 minutes drive Holmfirth town centre. Certainly stay there again.?

Booked a last minute stay and dinner at The Boshaw Trout as in Holmfirth for a concert. The staff were very friendly and helpful, Sunday dinner was lovely and good value, plenty of meat and a variety of veg. Rooms were of a high standard for decor, furnishings and cleanliness. Comfy bed, pity we had to leave early in the morning and miss breakfast.

Let me start by saying location was not ideal for my trip!
There are two lasting memories of my experience the people were warm, kind, interested and hospitable. Jess, Lilley, Rob, Issy, Sheila, Ethan and a chef who I am guilty of not asking you truly made the stay.
Oh, did I mention the location not being ideal for my trip....it was idyllic. The view from my window will live with me and give my next trip another choice challenge. The general area was full of surprises to decompress after tough day's.
Otherwise the room was clean and well presented and the food on site was of a high quality and hearty.
