Estuvimos en el restaurante del hotel. Teníamos ilusión por probar el codillo pero no tenían. Restaurante clásico, con manteles y servilletas de algodón, muy lento el servicio. La carne muy tierna y la cerveza buena.

The property is historic and amazing due to its heritage annd location. Our rooming the top floor and on the street side had great views. The room itself is small. WiFi was poor. Floors squealed badly. BUT this is an historic property and beautiful and in an amazing location. The location itself is worth the stay.

We managed to find an open table along the popular street “Hauptstrasse.” There is also seating inside. The restaurant is actually called Ritterstube at Hotel Ritter. It was a beautiful early June day filled with the ambiance of the street and across from the scenic church, Heilggeistkirche. We thought our service was just fine, prompt and friendly. We first ordered cold beers. I did have a sausage with sauerkraut and potatoes with mustard on the side. Everything was delicious. We were there well over an hour and enjoyed every minute.

We stayed in the restaurant more than 1 hour without being served. Let’s explain. We ordered after 15min wait. After 40 min more, the order hadn’t come. I claimed. They promised 3/4 more max. After another 9 min they served another table (they arrived 30 min later than us). We decided to leave the restaurant. We left 2 unfinished beers and 1 tap water (we had ordered mineral water). Never again in this restaurant.

In an ancient building, dining room has white arched ceiling , lots of rooms, quite elegant. WE wanted a slow lunch to avoid the rain - and succeeded. Table layout upmarket. Food excellent, it was schnitzel week, so we all indulged. Good wines. Not as massively expensive as one might guess from the appearance. Young waiters struggled a bit, and mis-served us once; but lots of smiles and our poor German did the trick

Fantastic hotel with incredible old world charm. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious with made to order eggs and omelets besides a buffet.
