I had less than 24 hours in Hanoi therefore location was crucial. This place is perfect. On a quiet little street in the heart of everything which couldn't be more perfect. Lily is amazing! So so helpful. Room was perfect with super comfy bed. So clean and cosy. Shower was lovely and hot too. At such a cheap price, insane!!! What more can you ask for!! Xx

When picking a hotel in Hanoi we were not sure about what to expect or who to go with as it was our first time in Vietnam! I have stayed in hotels in Australia, Italy, Dubai and many more but the Minerva Hotel is up there with one of the best! The rooms are cleaned to perfection and lovely white linen! They are spotless! The rooms are big and you get complementary tea, coffee and water. The breakfast is amazing with something to cater to all tastes. The location is also perfect as it is in a safe area within close walking distance to all attractions! However, the best part about the Minerva is the lovely staff who cater to your every whim and go out of there way to be thoughtful and just be as helpful as they can to you as a first time visitor in Vietnam! They helped us organise transport, food deliveries and also brought us to a shop to get our SIM card changed which was extremely extremely helpful! They could not be more helpful if they tried! I genuinely mean it by saying the Minerva Premium should be the only place you choose to stay in Hanoi it was exceptional! Thank you so much Minerva! from, Megan

I recently stayed at La Siesta Classic Hang Thung for one night, and honestly, it wasn't enough! Hotel Property: 1. The hotel's location is great. It's right in the middle of Hanoi's Old Quarter, so you can easily walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy the lively atmosphere. 2. What's cool is that the hotel is only two months old and it looks amazing. The rooms are a good size, and the modern design is Instagram-worthy. It's pretty impressive they even squeezed in a pool in the middle of the tight Old Quarter spaces. Service 1. We got to the hotel really early from Sapa, and our rooms weren't ready, but Mr. VP at the front desk was super nice. He went out of his way to arrange a shower for us. It was a real help to get us cleaned up from the long train ride. 2. I accidentally booked a room for 3 persons when there was only 2 of us. Mr.VP immediately noticed it and upgraded us to a junior suite without us knowing. That was a pleasant surprise and definitely made our day. The Not-So-Great Stuff: There were a couple of small issues that could have made the overall experience even better. 1. We asked for more water and ice around 9 pm, but they never brought it. Eventually, we went out and buy water, and reminded the front desk to send some ice to the room. But even after reminding the front desk personally, no ice came all night. 2. Food at breakfast was good, but the service could he better. When we wanted to sit by the window, the server insisted that we sit at another table. She rolled her eyes at me when I told her that we prefer to sit by the window. She then cleared our table quite unwillingly. She just changed the cutlery but did not replace the used placemats. We didn't bother her after that as she seemed annoyed. But despite these minor hiccups, I'd definitely recommend La Siesta Classic Hang Thung to anyone looking for a great stay in Hanoi. It's a lovely place with pretty and clean rooms and lovely front desk staff.

El gerente es útil para proporcionar mucha información sobre lugares turísticos y lugares para comer. Amazing stay at this small hotel. Hotel is new and clean. The bed is unbelievably comfortable and hotel provided four fluffy pillows (which is rare because normally it’s just two flat ones). Sometimes we came back to take a break and ended up falling asleep because it was too comfortable. All basic amenities were provided and we also requested for laundry to be done for a fee (50k per kg) and it was done within a day. Location is great with lots of food options!

El hotel está muy bien situado en la zona del 'Old Quarter' El personal es súper atento, amable y amigable (nos ayudaron a organizar la excursión a Ninh Bình ofreciendonos muchísimas opciones). Las instalaciones son nuevas y la habitación era grande y espaciosa con balcón. El equipo de limpieza hace un magnífico trabajo, siempre que volvíamos estaba todo limpio y ordenado. (Las habitaciones disponen de todas las comodidades:gel, champú, secador, cepillo de dientes...) Nosotras solo cogimos el desayuno y estaba riquísimo. Todos los días tenían variedad de fruta, tostadas, cereales, también comidas calientes como Bacon, noodles. También nos reservaron el transporte de vuelta al aeropuerto Si volviera a Hanoi, sin duda volvería aquí. Lo recomiendo al 100%

La ubicación es ideal si quieres estar cerca del lago o tener negocios con una embajada. El lago es a 30 segundos de paseo, las embajadas 10 minutos o así. El hotel dispone de una amplia zona de estar, un escritorio, una cocina completa con un refrigerador/congelador de tamaño doméstico, y la cama es muy cómoda como las galletas. La zona de la cama se puede cortar cerrando una cortina de piso a techo entre ella y la zona del salón -- conveniente cuando su compañero de viaje quiere levantarse temprano para trabajar (y apagar todas las luces). El baño incluye un tubo de tamaño completo y un baño japonés (es decir, asiento caliente y construido en bidet con varias opciones). En lugar de un desayuno buffet, nos proporcionaron un menú que incluía una gran selección de artículos que van desde las normas occidentales a las vietnamitas. Las noches en el restaurante de arriba incluyen grupos de jóvenes locales que se toman egoísmos en el ambiente ”fabuloso”. El hotel es un hotel familiar pequeño. Reservamos una habitación con dos camas, pero se ofreció una con una cama. Tuvimos que pedir un cambio de habitación, que puede haber ocurrido a menudo a partir de las opiniones de otras personas. La habitación doble era un poco grande y limpia. El baño era un poco difícil: no nos atrevíamos a tomar una ducha, pero mi niño lo hizo y dijo que estaba bien. El baño no tenía problema. El agua caliente era fácilmente accesible. El desayuno fue cocinado personalmente y bien hecho con huevos, pan buttered y algunas verduras (tea era agradable). Muy temprano de la mañana después de las 6:00 o incluso antes, un horario se acorrotó por dos horas cada 30 segundos, y tuvimos que estar arriba. El hotel ofrece vistas a un gran campo abierto donde el ganado de pollo y los caballos se disfrutan de la comida. La mejor parte fue que podíamos caminar al hotel y tomarnos unos 15 minutos del terminal internacional, aunque fue un poco traicionada a lo largo del camino. Nos acostumbramos a ello. No hay mucho alrededor del hotel. El aeropuerto de Hanoi, a diferencia de Saigon, no tiene nada en el barrio. Creo que por una noche, este hotel puede estar bien para vuelos tempranos.
