La habitación era limpia y la ubicación es buena. Pero lo más importante es el personal. Todas son tan amables y siempre listos para ayudarte. Siempre sonriendo. Quiero mencionar a Vanessa, Lucas, Thomas y el jefe de concierge Moo Thaw por su excelente servicio. Les deseo un gran futuro en su carrera. Gracias. 😊

Excelente servicio. El desayuno tiene buenas opciones, pero el desayuno de rutina casi todos los días. El sabor de la comida era bueno. El servicio de habitaciones estaba disponible en todo. Atención y amable personal. Gracias especial a Nandar (ND)

Old luxury hotel - resort style big pool, great breakfast, spacious rooms. They have to renovate it, but it still very nice. Ah, by the way. Its hard to find some restaurants nearby - be prepared for taxi for any case. But they have 24h convenient store on first floor. And - its very strange for the hotel of this level - there was a situation with exec lounge. It was in my booking but they refuse to give me access: ”It was an error in room description”. Guys, its really not my trouble, right? I wasnt in the mood for hard negotiations, so... let carma decide ))) And they have no local shuttle bus (yes, there is an error on hotel site). Heh )))

The Strand is a find, old hotel which, for the most part, has been tastefully refurbished. Some shortcomings: the staff appear very young, inexperienced and with poor English, resulting in the wrong response to requests - half an hour to get cornflakes for breakfast; the lighting in the suite was poor, with several lamps but few overhead lights, making it impossible to read in bed; the bathroom shower had little water pressure and was difficult to use; we couldn't use the bath as there was no plug; three telephones in the suite but two not working, so the only usable phone was in the toilet cubicle - not the best spot for conversation; requests to resolve the problem went unanswered. Checking out, the management showed no interest in listening to customer feedback. Someone needs to wake up and smell the coffee..

Warning: Major language barriers and smoking issues at this new hotel While this is a newly built hotel, I was shocked by the lack of English proficiency at a 5-star establishment in Yangon. The front desk staff spoke only Mandarin and Burnmese. Ironically, the IT technician was the only person who understood a bit of English, which was the only redeeming factor regarding communication. Key issues for international travelers: Language Barrier: Do not expect to use English with the reception; it is primarily a Mandarin-speaking environment. Smoking Regulation: Despite ”No Smoking” signs in the lobby lounge, guests were smoking openly on the coffee tables. I also encountered guests smoking in the hallways and elevator lobbies on the guest floors. It felt as though I was in China rather than Myanmar. Dining: The breakfast buffet is strictly Chinese-style. There were no Burmese food or drink options available at all. Room Condition: My room had a persistent smell of smoke and was full of mosquitoes. This is likely because housekeeping leaves the doors wide open during cleaning.

Todo estuvo bien👌👌👌😍💙… El único inconveniente fue que podías sentir pereza de salir o hacer turismo porque la habitación del hotel era muy cómoda y hacía muchísimo calor afuera😅 —- Podías quedarte en tu habitación, disfrutar de la vista, darte un baño o disfrutar de un día de spa… El desayuno buffet tenía muchas opciones, e incluso cambiaban algunos platos al día siguiente. Mi favorito fue la sauna; estaba realmente buena. También me encantó la ducha caliente, ya que no se enfrió ni siquiera después de estar encendida mucho tiempo😍 Los masajes fueron geniales y los precios razonables… El personal fue muy servicial y amable… Hubo cortes de luz ocasionales, pero solo duraron unos segundos, ya que la luz de emergencia del hotel se encendió enseguida… + Aunque está un poco lejos de los lugares turísticos, puedes tomar un Grab; es económico y la mejor opción, ya que hace mucho calor durante el día…

El personal de recepción fue muy grosero: no me miraban a los ojos, tenían caras inexpresivas y una actitud poco servicial. No hay servicio de habitaciones por la mañana. Pedí que me enviaran una botella de agua a la habitación a las 8:30, pero me dijeron que el servicio solo empieza después de las 11 y que debía ir a comprar agua a la tienda.

環境很好，在湖邊，空氣清新，各種設施齊全。服務也很好，衞生不錯。設施可能由於酒店時間長的原因有點老舊了。總之非常滿意，下次還會入住。

Overall worth the price. There’s free buffet breakfast, nice lake nearby, and courteous staff. Not near the city center though
