I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was clean, and the location is good. But most important is the staff. All of them are so friendly and always ready to help you. Always smiling. I would like to mention Vanessa, Lucas, Thomas, and Chef Concierge Moo Thaw for their excellent service. I wish all of them a great future in their career. Thank you. 😊

Repeat stay. Professional staff from reception, restaurants and housekeeping. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Good choice of restaurants and excellent gym and indoor pool. Will stay again when in Yangon.

It is not quite easy to put a fair review for this hotel. At a very first glance, with the ongoing political unrest in Myanmar, the effort to reopen the hotel and rehire all the staff deserve a great compliment. Nonetheless, the shortfall in service and amenities should not be compromised with the situation and some area such as cleanliness should not fall short especially when the hotel priced themselves at the highest in the city. The management should really consider to focus on guests service and sincere hospitality and that they can have customers who are willing to pay at any price rather that worked any way possible to cut the cost and let the staff to deal with insufficient amenities and services.

Old luxury hotel - resort style big pool, great breakfast, spacious rooms. They have to renovate it, but it still very nice. Ah, by the way. Its hard to find some restaurants nearby - be prepared for taxi for any case. But they have 24h convenient store on first floor. And - its very strange for the hotel of this level - there was a situation with exec lounge. It was in my booking but they refuse to give me access: ”It was an error in room description”. Guys, its really not my trouble, right? I wasnt in the mood for hard negotiations, so... let carma decide ))) And they have no local shuttle bus (yes, there is an error on hotel site). Heh )))

El personal de Myanmar está muy bien informado y le agradezco su excelente servicio y atención a los detalles. En particular, me encanta la vista de Shwedagon Pagoda desde mi habitación. Warning: Major language barriers and smoking issues at this new hotel While this is a newly built hotel, I was shocked by the lack of English proficiency at a 5-star establishment in Yangon. The front desk staff spoke only Mandarin and Burnmese. Ironically, the IT technician was the only person who understood a bit of English, which was the only redeeming factor regarding communication. Key issues for international travelers: Language Barrier: Do not expect to use English with the reception; it is primarily a Mandarin-speaking environment. Smoking Regulation: Despite ”No Smoking” signs in the lobby lounge, guests were smoking openly on the coffee tables. I also encountered guests smoking in the hallways and elevator lobbies on the guest floors. It felt as though I was in China rather than Myanmar. Dining: The breakfast buffet is strictly Chinese-style. There were no Burmese food or drink options available at all. Room Condition: My room had a persistent smell of smoke and was full of mosquitoes. This is likely because housekeeping leaves the doors wide open during cleaning.

Todo estuvo bien👌👌👌😍💙… El único inconveniente fue que podías sentir pereza de salir o hacer turismo porque la habitación del hotel era muy cómoda y hacía muchísimo calor afuera😅 —- Podías quedarte en tu habitación, disfrutar de la vista, darte un baño o disfrutar de un día de spa… El desayuno buffet tenía muchas opciones, e incluso cambiaban algunos platos al día siguiente. Mi favorito fue la sauna; estaba realmente buena. También me encantó la ducha caliente, ya que no se enfrió ni siquiera después de estar encendida mucho tiempo😍 Los masajes fueron geniales y los precios razonables… El personal fue muy servicial y amable… Hubo cortes de luz ocasionales, pero solo duraron unos segundos, ya que la luz de emergencia del hotel se encendió enseguida… + Aunque está un poco lejos de los lugares turísticos, puedes tomar un Grab; es económico y la mejor opción, ya que hace mucho calor durante el día…

El personal de recepción fue muy grosero: no me miraban a los ojos, tenían caras inexpresivas y una actitud poco servicial. No hay servicio de habitaciones por la mañana. Pedí que me enviaran una botella de agua a la habitación a las 8:30, pero me dijeron que el servicio solo empieza después de las 11 y que debía ir a comprar agua a la tienda.
