Spacious room, sufficient for two colleagues. Thoughtful amenities, provided additional pillow options, as well as turndown service. Good strong coffee with Nespresso machine. WiFi wa rather intermittent, kept getting disconnected during zoom online meeting but otherwise able to do emails. Short walk to conference venue (Lille Grand Palais). Limited food options nearby, often walked to Lille Flandres side or Town Centre for meals. Service was very responsive, some housekeeping staff were able to speak English. Nice touch at the end with door chocolates upon checkout. Overall a good experience.

Las instalaciones estaban bien solo tenía un problema con las dimensiones de una habitación superior de 23 metros cuadrados que también estaba llena de muebles, por lo que no podíamos pasar o debíamos moverlo cada vez. We were assigned an accessible junior suite though we didn't request an accessible room.. The bathroom was half finished and the wiring was not completed with the switches for the separate toilet and bath located in the doorway. There were signs pasted on the door to the toilet and the door to the shower stating that the hotel offered its apologies for the inconvenience! There was a workman's support pole found under the sinks which had to be removed by the technician when we complained. There was not a single hook, clothes stand, towel rack or rail anywhere in the bathroom, toilet or room. The hotel staff explained that they would send a technician a second time to drill hooks in the bathroom, we didn't bother since we were staying only 2 nights and didn't want the dust. The shower glass in the shower stall could not contain water within the stall and the floor became wet after we showered. Location wise the hotel is perfect and the staff were polite. Breakfast was a mix of hot cooked food and the usual cold cuts, cheeses, breads, yoghurt, fruits and juices. The breakfast room changes to a bar at night which serves affordable and nice cocktails.

This was the second time i booked the hotel. The first time was lovely staying. However , this time is terrible. You can't believe when you enter the room that box tissue and lady bags were running out. And I requested a sofa bed for my son. But they gave me the baby cot. Luckily, the staff came and took away the cot and open the sofa bed for me. But I needed to make the bed and put the blanket cover for myself.i thought i was working in the hotel. Obviously , the room was cleaned roughly. Hotel needs to ensure the staffs to clean every room seriously and make sure to refill enough tissue in the room. You can have a look at the photos. the telephone. Super ..dirty with yellowish tea stain... and the toilet... thousands years limescale sticking on the toilet bowl. Sigh... The air con was super weak. Pls fix it. We slept with sweat for the whole night. When we opened the sofa bed, we found the lice jumped out. All legs and feet felt itchy immediately. Pls make a timetable to steam the furniture and do pest control. Good points : good location and yummy breakfast
