Perfect stay in the clouds resort. We spent five nights here. I am living in Chiba for 18 years. This is the best stay in hotel since I am here. The village is touristic, but authentic and quiet in night. It’s a mix of ancient village, water, nature. The dream China. The resort is perfectly located on the side of the lake. The common parts are wonderful, from the term, the garden, the courtyards. You can feel the soul of the country here, built by multiple generations. The rooms are traditional but beautiful and extremely well equipped with huge shower, Japanese toilets, huge bathtub. There is 3 courtyards, all original and authentic. You feel the heat of history. The restaurant is the best of the city, for reasonable prices and tasty and comfortable settings. On the top of it, very dedicated staff, trying their best to make us happy, nice breakfast, nice afternoon tea, tea ceremony… we can be only grateful to have the pleasure to stay here. Fast train station is just ten minutes away…

Stayed for 2 nights and had a great experience. The hotel is new (opened in 2025). Front desk staff Xiao Jiang and Mario were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are on the same floor as the front desk, which is very convenient. The hotel provides shuttle service to nearby attractions using electric carts. Breakfast was rich, and they even packed breakfast for us when we had to leave early for hiking Huangshan. We also had dinner at the hotel both nights — the food was truly delicious. Highly recommended!

A cosy hotel with attentive and friendly staff. I chose a room without the smell of tobacco, and it truly was odour-free. The location is quiet, and breakfast is served at the table in the dining area. The only downside to my stay was the behaviour of some inconsiderate guests who arrived around midnight, shouting at each other and watching television for about 2-3 hours. I reported this to reception, but it seems the staff were already asleep and unable to address the issue promptly.

The room is spacious and bright, the beds are comfortable. It is very close to the west and south gates of Hongcun so it is walkable to the attraction. And the bus terminal is just across the street that has transportation to other nearby towns. The staff are all very friendly. A good stay for us.

La suite de Lulu residente está muy cerca del edificio principal. No se puede decir que la habitación tiene ventanas en todas partes y es vista por todas partes. The hotel is beautiful and so serene! The hotel - lobby, rooms, and grounds were perfectly decorated and maintained. The breakfast had a great selection and was so good. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. They even gave us their WeChat contact so that we can ask them for anything at any time. In a small town, this hotel was such a pleasant surprise. It was a short visit, but we wish we could've stayed longer!
