Accra Marriott Hotel

I don’t recommend at all for the value paid! Very bad food, very bad service missing basics I’m really disappointed with all and will never go back Old building with 0 maintenance . Nothing work properly Should be really 3 stars as best

Good for stay there but can not expectation, nice food and serive. So, nice choise hotel to choose

奔着萬豪酒店的口碑來的，可是入住等了四個多小時，説是很多延遲退房沒有整理出來，後來還是因為另外客户投訴引來了酒店老總.給我們提供了免費的晚餐，順利辦理了入住。食物確實美味😋房間也是很OK 晚上還收到了boss lady送的水果盤和手寫信🥰 Thank you!

I stayed here for business for one week. It's very convenient, being located just 2 minutes from the airport. It is generally well laid-out, clean, and quite comfortable. The breakfast buffet is huge. Overall the staff were considerate and friendly. My check-in was less than ideal. The person checking me in seemed cranky and checked me in robotically without listening to me. I had to change the room I was assigned and asked someone else to help me, which they did.

This was the only Marriott brand hotel I found in Accra and all things considered was the option I chose. It's ＜1km from the airport and they have a shuttle which was nice. It's also the "business hotel" in Accra for people coming in and out. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was good and they have a smilier food lineup in the lounge. They Ghanaian speciality for the day is usually in both spots. so if that's what you want to eat, you can just go to the lounge for it (lounge access depends on status I suppose). The lounge at the hotel was large and comfortable. It's open nearly all the time and has drinks and snacks (plus food) for you. It's a big plus if you have access to it. The gym was also nice and has what you need for a great workout. I see some reviews calling this hotel "soulless". It's a Marriott. After a day in the heat and "authenticity" of Accra, I actually appreciated coming back to a hotel with a proper gym, a nice hot shower, and a cozy lounge. It's not a small boutique hotel, and that was fine with me for a few days (we stayed and boutique hotels in Kumasi and Cape Coast too) The big win for this hotel is the staff. Aba at reception, Wilford in the lounge, and Grace in the restaurant all made the stay amazing. I had multiple interactions with each of them and left feeling great each time. They were amazing and added to the stay. Two other points: (1) They need to spray the gym for ants. In the dumbbell area, they are owning the floor. (2) Give yourself time for Bolt to arrive, there's not much walkable from the hotel and it's an easy 30min to the Accra sites because of traffic, if not longer. It's cheap, but plan that buffer for everything.

The staff were very helpful in all aspects whether it was at reception, lobby or the restaurants. Special commends go to Mr "Gablah" who was helpful and cheerful in all regards. The location of the hotel was convenient to and from the airport.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Great location as well if you are traveling for work. Gablah from the restaurant was very kind and knowledgeable. Really appreciate his help with the recommendations. Food was great! Will definitely stay here whenever I come to Accra.

I absolutely love the look and feel of the Accra Marriott; everything is beautifully manicured for ceiling to floor. The staff goes over and beyond, Irene and her staff were superb…WOW; the experience left a positive lasting impression. Irene act of kindness was one of the highlights of my trip to Ghana. THANK YOU! Whether you are there for business or pleasure, it is perfect. Will be back.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Good customer service from the very top on down. The general manager was friendly and attentive as was the front desk manager. The general manager welcomed us at the lounge as well as the weekly outdoor barbecue. Even when things went wrong, the staff was attentive, apologetic, and accommodating. I appreciated that they found and held me for me the electric adapter I accidentally left behind. All the way around, a great hotel.
