Tucked away in the countryside this charming place offers rest and relaxation with panache, rooms being individually decorated to a high standard and the common areas cosy but stylish and I was quite taken by the beautifully designed play area for little kids in the reception . The owner is a really lovely lady and made us feel very welcome as did all the staff. We had dinner on both evenings of our stay and I can honestly say every dish wasn’t just good, it was utterly exquisite; flavoursome fat, juicy prawns, beef cooked to perfection, melt in the mouth mushroom crepes, a divine seafood salad…chef I salute you! Seriously, 10/10!! We spent two hours in the beautiful and ultra clean spa area on New Years Eve and it was just super. I’m looking forward to seeing the garden and pool in the spring as this is somewhere definitely worth returning to.

El hotel está en la calle cerca del centro, por lo que cómodo para visitar la ciudad, a pie. El ambiente molino informal y, en general, votado a la moderna estrategia de la oferta de servicios. Después de las 23 termina portero y entra con el código. Habitación no muy grande y con muebles esenciales que para una noche es comodamente. Habitación limpia. Baño adecuado y limpio.

Si llega en tren a la estación de tren de Brescia, este hotel está muy cerca de la estación caminando. En cambio, si llegas en coche, la situación se vuelve problemática: no tiene sentido mover el coche y descargar las maletas. Frente a la entrada del hotel hay un carril bici y un pasaje para peatones. Al llegar después de la medianoche ”abusamos” del carril bici desierto para descargar las numerosas maletas. El inconveniente se compensa con el obsequio del aparcamiento interior vigilado de la estación (la recepción del hotel presta una tarjeta magnética para abrir la barrera del aparcamiento de la estación y salir al final de las vacaciones, siempre de forma gratuita). No tiene accesorios de 4 estrellas en la habitación (pantuflas, cepillo de dientes), sino solo una tetera para bolsitas de café liofilizado y té y manzanilla: poco para mejorarlo. Me parece que para un 4 estrellas, el cliente debe pagar una tasa turística más alta que el 3 estrellas en Brescia, pero primero debe verificar.

The hotel was absolutely great, very friendly staff and very clean. The room we booked had everything we required, clean towels daily, topped up water everyday, topped up tea & coffee items. The room had decent size balcony to sit and look at the lovely view of Lake Garda, a busy waterway with daily ferries, small boats and paddlers. The gardens and pool area were tidied everyday. Towels provided for sun loungers everyday. There is amply seating areas in the gardens and bar area to sit and relax. Breakfast had great selection everyday including cooked items. Fine dining was served in the evening, we did not eat at lunchtime however our friends said good choice. The hotel was situated within easy walking of Salo town, which had beautiful esplande to enjoy and plenty of seats to sit and admire the view. We would definately reccomend this lovely hotel and look forward to a return in the near future. Thank you Hotel Salo du Park for a great stay

Wir hatten direkt über die Homepage des Hotels gebucht. Dort angekommen, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass die Anlage aus zwei Komplexen besteht. Einmal aus den Apartments/Hotelzimmern direkt an der Rezeption und auf der anderen Straßenseite eine weitere Apartmentanlage (ebenfalls mit Pool). Von außen erst mal alles sauber. Dann bekamen wir unser Apartment und waren schockiert. Das Apartment war total abgewohnt und dreckig (Duschkopfhalterung kurz vorm abbrechen und verrostet, Schimmel in der Dusche, dreckige Möbel, die Schlafcouch mit einer Matratze von ca. 5 cm Dicke und mit Stahlfedern im Rücken jede Nacht, etc.). Nicht mal annähernd wie die 4 Sterne von der Webseite, eher Stand 90er Jahre. Als wir dies dem Hotelbesitzer mitteilten, erfuhren wir, dass die meisten Apartments in der 2. Anlage nicht zu dem Hotel gehören, sondern privaten Besitzern und nur über das Hotel vermittelt werden. Davon war bei der Buchung nichts zu lesen. Man darf sich also überraschen lassen, ob man ein sauberes, gepflegtes und modernes Apartment bekommt oder nicht. Der Hotelbesitzer bestätigte uns allerdings auch, dass im Internet nur die Fotos der schöneren Apartments des Hotels gezeigt werden. Nachdem wir ein zweites Mal mit dem Hotelbesitzer gesprochen haben und ihm gesagt haben, dass wir dieses Apartment nicht mal für die Hälfte des Preises gebucht hätten, hat er uns für die letzte Nacht ein Apartmentwechsel angeboten, früher ginge nicht, da nichts frei ist. Auch bot er uns an, einen Teil des Preises zu erstatten, darauf warten wir allerdings bis heute. Dadurch, dass die Apartments, in der zweiten Anlage überwiegend in italienischem Privatbesitz sind, werden die Poolliegen schon morgens von diesen mit Handtüchern reserviert und man hat nur die Wahl, selbst früh aufzustehen und zu reservieren oder zum Hotel zu laufen und dort am Pool zu schwimmen. Wobei früh auch relativ ist, der Pool darf leider nur von 09-19 Uhr benutzt werden. Die Klimaanlage stank ebenfalls, auch im längeren Betrieb. Die Möbel und das ganze Zimmer waren verdreckt, kein Staubsauger vorhanden. Besteck und Geschirr war nicht ausreichend vorhanden, nicht mal für 4 Personen. Schimmel im Kaffeekocher. Gereinigt und Handtücher gewechselt wurde bei einem Aufenthalt von einer Woche nur einmal, und das erst nach 5 Tagen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und höflich! Der Ort ist relativ ruhig und man ist zu Fuß in 10 Minuten am Strand. Viel mehr ist da nicht los. Wir würden in Zukunft einen etwas belebteren Ort wählen.

Como dato positivo La ubicacion Excelente en el centro historico de Sirmione a un paso de todo Multiples restaurantes Te dan un voucher para desayunar a 2 cuadras con un 10% de descuento Como dato negativo La disposicion de la habitacion ya que al sent**** en el escritorio no se podia pasar para un lado de la cama matrimonial El hecho de n tener donde dejar las valijas ya que el espacio en la habitacion era un poco reducido Tampoco tiene lugar en la recepcion para dejarlas como asi tambien baño , aunque si bien habiamos entregado las llaves y queriamos ir al baño la recepcionista nos permitio volver a la habitacion Falta de caja de seguridad No obstante volveria a contratarlos

Fui una noche con mi amiga en el Garda Lake Hostel y nos encontramos muy bien. Estamos impresionados de la cortesía y la amabilidades del niño a la recepción que se ha mostrado disponible, cordial y amable. La habitación era muy bonita, limpia y con tantas corazones en las paredes que te hacen sentir bien y cómoda. Buen desayuno y con tantas productos disponibles. Excelente ubicación, ya que está cerca del centro y de las playas libres o equipadas. En el último piso hay una terraza desde la que se puede ver el lago donde se puede tomar el sol en las sillas o sillas.
