I had a Terrible experience at this hotel. I chose it over many other options because it looked very nice and definetely the location was great. However, this was Actually the worst I have ever had in my entire life. I travel a lot and I can tell you worst communication and worst customer service ever. I booked a room and the AC was broken. I reported this to the front desk personnel and he only offered me a Fan. The room temperature was like a sauna! Literally felt like a joke. I had to book a different hotel on the same night which was extremely uncomfortable considering that it was 11:00 pm and most of the other hotels were sold out. The next day I called to get a refund and they were not answering the phone. It is a shame! A new hotel but they wouldn't consider having someone to stay at night and be able to take care for this kind of issues. Do not stay here

Great luxury hotel with the highest service level, great location and great breakfast! Really one of the best hotels, if not THE best hotel, we´ve ever stayed in. We had a suite (called apartment here) and it was so nice we did literally not want to leave. The breakfast was also great and you can pick and choose from an a la carte menu (included in our case).

This is a darling, very instagrammable hotel located right off the Piazza Republicca, so that you can walk to almost every destination in historic Florence within 5-20 minutes. Lots of shopping, dining, cafes, bars, museums, etc nearby. When I arrived prior to check-in time, they brought me to the bar/lounge and gave me a welcome drink along with the most delicious mortadella tart. Great start! The front desk staff was super nice, if a bit inefficient. For example, they didn't tell me the room was ready despite having led me into the bar/lounge area, and had to be reminded several times when I had made requests in-person or over the phone. Rather than a buffet, the breakfast was a coursed event, which was nice except the head waiters at the restaurant were a bit brusque and not as friendly, especially as I was a solo traveler, both mornings I was seated in the room right off of the kitchen, so it felt a bit like I was not as welcome. Finally, though the room was quite spacious (particularly the wonderful bathroom), the location of the hotel near Piazza Republicca meant that it was quite loud late into the night (I was staying over a weekend), so if you value a quiet night, this may not be the best choice. Overall I loved my stay though, and would recommend for younger travelers who don't mind noise at night!

Exceptional hotel. The room was gorgeous and really unique in its art deco style but what made this hotel really special was the outstanding service which was by far the best service we experienced of the 3 hotels we visited jn Tuscany. Concierge were super helpful in recommending and booking some fantastic restaurants. The front desk team were always on hand with a smile and the team at the bar were so friendly. Received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and some sweet treats in the room which was a lovely and much appreciated gesture. The hotel is extremely well located. We will definitely book again.
