Hotel Byron

Hotel con clase: esta es nuestra segunda visita aquí y no puedo criticar el hotel. Excelente ubicación justo en la playa/Lido y un excelente restaurante para cenar. Personal amable y servicial. Corto paseo hasta el próspero puerto deportivo

Me alojé en el Byron Hotel por 2 noches durante un viaje de negocios. Mi hotel habitual en Lerici es el Hotel Florida, pero estaban llenos. El Byron parece muy nuevo y el estilo es muy zen y spa, con colores claros y obras de arte por todas partes. Mi habitación no tenía vistas al mar, pero sí una gran zona exterior con asientos y sombrilla. Lo que me gustó: - Habitación de buen tamaño - La mejor cama y almohadas que he experimentado en Italia - Muy cómodas y las almohadas NO son planas como veo muchas veces - Televisor enorme con muchos canales y puedes conectar una caja de transmisión y el El control remoto tiene la capacidad de cambiar las fuentes - WiFi fuerte y confiable - No hay ruido de habitación a habitación o del exterior, pero algo de ruido modesto en el pasillo cuando el servicio de limpieza está haciendo su ronda - Caja fuerte - Mucho espacio de almacenamiento - Teléfono real en la habitación - Hermoso baño y ducha con comodidades realmente agradables - Buen desayuno / comedor con vista - El desayuno era muy bueno y con mucha variedad - Cené en el restaurante una noche y fue muy bueno Para mejorar - El mini refrigerador ni siquiera se enfrió en absoluto cuando se gira completamente al máximo frío. El personal lo miró y me informó que estaban teniendo problemas con ese modelo de refrigerador. Esperemos que lo arreglen. Fue difícil entender cómo configurar el aire acondicionado. Creo que sería útil tener una pequeña tarjeta de instrucciones cerca. CONSEJOS: en la época de mayor actividad de julio, tuve que estacionar mi auto en el estacionamiento público al lado del Hotel Florida, a más de 300 metros de distancia. El personal puso en mi factura 2 tarjetas de 7 euros cada una para colocar en el tablero del auto, lo que me permitió dejar mi auto en el estacionamiento público durante 48 horas. Para el aire acondicionado, solo puedes variar la temperatura unos pocos grados alrededor de un Punto de ajuste CERO. Punto de ajuste cero = alrededor de 22 grados. - Hay ascensor - Puedes alquilar sillas de playa y prestar (con depósito) toallas de playa

Loved Hotel Byron! Lerici is a beautiful town on the Ligurian Sea with magnificent beaches and swimming. Hotel Byron is newly renovated, very clean, great beds and helpful staff. Morning breakfast was delicious . I would come back in a heartbeat!

Lovely location, nice staff, parking can be a bit of a nightmare if you haven’t pre booked and it’s busy (during the summer). I was on the first floor which was noisy in the morning when other hotel guests were going to breakfast.

Excellent hotel, lovely room great location. Reception staff very nice except one particular staff member who consistently had a very bad attitude. She actually needs firing. Her attitude was so bad people on the beach where talking about it. Where to start - the hotel is lovely the rooms are comfortable and have good amenities. We actually stayed in the hotel twice in our time in Italy. The reception staff generally where fantastic, except this one particular staff member. It started on the first time we checked out. The hotel only give you one key for the room, we asked for a second key as there was two of us and one baby so sometimes entered the room at different times. On first time staying we book two separate bookings, meaning we had to stay in a standard room the entire time we was at the hotel. (No problem for us as moving rooms is a pain) the mentioned staff member was then telling my wife that I had previously agreed this and spoken to her, when I hadn’t. She then proceed to speak very aggressively towards my wife for no apparent reason to try and get her point across. On checking out of the same trip, she was trying to have an argument with me about the room change despite me only wanting to pay for the room and our future booking. Eventually after many back and forths I was able to just pay. When leaving we had obviously taken a second key, She then continued to mention this, when I said the key was in the room she shrugged her shoulders and turned her back. This is not the service I would expect from a 4star hotel this is also not the experience I would expect when leaving any hotel. On our second trip again staff very friendly until the day we were checking out and the same staff member again. First of all she was knocking on the room door at 8am to tell us the car needs to be moved. Not sure why other than the management forbids it, which actually turned out to be complete rubbish. On checking out we accidentally left the key in the room, so went to reception to get another to get out bags. She refused to give us a key to get our bags again this went back and forth with her until finally she have a key which is ridiculous considering our possessions where in the room. Again on the second trip the check out was ridiculous and completely unnecessary. This staff member needs sacking immediately before she hurts the hotel and the business that clearly a company has spent a lot on.

Great accommodations, great location, a stroll to the center, great views, generous breakfast! We discovered it by chance, literally walking by. Staff was super accommodating, especially Alessandro, he even helped us get our car into the garage. Parking is tight in Lerici so having access to a garage nearby is critical, instead of the city parking lots that aren’t nearby…..we had a Very nice experience, I recommended it to friends coming soon who wanted an italian riviera experience.

This is a recently built hotel right across from the swimming beach at Lerici. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. If you get one on the front you'll have a lovely view of the waterfront and the castle. It's a bit of a walk to the center of town, but not too far, and it's pleasant to walk along the waterfront.

We booked rooms at this hotel months in advance and made deposits to confirm them. We got written confirmation from the hotel that our rooms were booked. Then, completely out of the blue, they told us that the rooms were not available anymore because the local football team would be requiring them and asked us to change the dates of our stay. This was for our WEDDING. We asked the hotel staff to help us find suitable alternative accommodation and they didn’t. We found a suitable alternative by ourselves at a higher price (due to the time that had elapsed and less availability at other hotels) and the hotel refused to compensate us for any difference. Italian LAW states that if the hotel cancels the reservation, the guests are entitled to 2x the deposit paid. If you care about having an actual place to stay, AVOID HOTEL BYRON AT ALL COSTS!!!
