Generous portions of really good food await you here. Restaurant was very busy but the staff still came up trumps. The Suet pudding could serve three it was delicious light suet pastry. Everyone's meal was very good too. Tables are close so no 5 . Well done.

What a lovely place 😍 we stayed for one night whilst attending a wedding. Staff super friendly and couldn't do more to help. They also allowed us to check in early for a busy day. Hotel itself is well kept, room super clean with everything you'd need. Garden is beautiful and ample parking. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again. Shame we couldn't stay longer. All good and value for money. We didn't have dinner but menu looked amazing xx thank you for such a lovely break and stay 😘 we will be back xx

The staff were all so kind and helpful that it made our stay. The hotel is brilliantly situated for touring the broads and is near to Norwich too. The room itself was very good and spacious. The food was amazing once we realised that 1 light bite and 1 main dish was ample for us to share as the portions are large. The only minor issue was the bathroom design, a large roll-top bath looked great but was impractical in such a small room.

Only one room left at the hotel. It was a tiny room in the converted roof, awkward to access up many stairs and doors. The room was very small with limited headroom, but it had a comfortable queen bed, tv and tea making. The ensuite had a bath with a hand held shower so it was very difficult having a shower but it was all clean and modern. We had dinner in the pub and it was very busy - excellent food and good service and choice of beers. Breakfast was included and this was very good - fresh orange juice would be nice. Other rooms here may be a little larger but our room would not take two suitcases. Overall, a pleasant stay courtesy the great food.

This place is a must visit if you're in the area. Staff very attentive, menu is amazing, so many food choices. Food is excellent, large portions served up very nicely and it is delicious. The pub itself is very nice, plenty of tables and different rooms to choose from.

We’ve been here countless times - the food is always tremendous. Huge variety of dishes and you always leave feeling full. Love the fish dishes, especially sea bass though other half would always recommend steak. A bit pricey for an everyday visit for some but food is worth it.

Just visited the Recruiting sergeant, bit disappointed as it was one of my first places I dated my partner a year ago.paid £14 for 2 glasses of prosecco, that's ok but if you are not having a meal ,we were asked to sit on a bench near a wasp nest,with the amount of money this pub must be making, surely they could sort this out.one of the locals told us about the wasp nest,sort it out please.
