I love this hotel. i have stayed here now many many times, and i have NEVER had a bad experience, so i thought i would finally write a DESERVED GOOD review. The Hotel is placed right at the heart of Dumaguete, everything you would want is with a few mins of the hotel, the hotel also provides trips to some of the popular tourist attractions. The rooms are always clean and fresh with daily room service, but in my opinion the only thing that lets the rooms down are the showers which sadly could do with more maintenance as often they are faulty in some way and poorly kept looking, but they still provide good supply of hot water. I have stayed in all of the rooms they offer, from their suite to the standard rooms, and all show the same levels of cleanliness and the rooms always feel welcoming. Free breakfast is provided and the restaurant is good and the food well cooked and presented , the hotel provides a full range of pampering service if you require some self indulgence. The staff are ALWAYS friendly polite professional and on hand for any reason and will always make you feel important and a valued guest. I have in all my stays at this Hotel had only ever had one problem which was dealt with professionally, immediately and satisfactorily,. This hotel is ALWAYS my first choice when i visit Dumaguete, and will continue to be so They have plenty of rooms and even as a walk in, i have never been turned away from being fully booked, Its always a pleasure staying here.... We have stayed at COCOGRANDE for 10 years but this August trip will be our last. This hotel has suffered NEGLECT by the owners and they have done nothing in the ways of repairs.. In just our last 10 visits we have been forced to move from our check-in room to another lower level room. Why? Flooded bathrooms. aircon did not work or was to much noise to sleep, wi-fi never good and always get excuses, toilet seats not attached to the toilet, safe needed batteries, no blanket - just a very worn thin sheet, shower floor very slippery but no more shower mats, COLD WATER, no longer offer hand towels or bathroom amenities. The real problem is the front desk staff knows about all of these complaints but STILL sends you into these defective unkempt rooms! Out of loyalty we have kept coming back almost every month but the hotel is no longer comfortable at all. Very sad, we used to really enjoy staying here.. Brian P.S. They just raised the room rates in August... Mangement Staff are not deep thinkers!

El hotel es simple, pero muy limpio. Las habitaciones son amplias en tamaño. El WiFi es fuerte. El personal es muy útil y acomodable. Por primera vez en Duma, es un placer sorprendente! ¡Es un placer conocer a Chiang y Nana, así que es un placer compartir la experiencia de estadía con todos. For a 5 star hotel, it doesn’t seem like it is and definitely not worth the price. -Poor amenities (Example, they offer a small thin bar of soap as a body wash. Why wouldn’t they offer liquid body wash? Also, some towels were overused) -They clean the rooms/bathrooms and change your towels after 3 days instead of everyday. There’s no pandemic anymore so why not clean the rooms everyday?! -Good food, but not enough choices for breakfast (Why wouldn’t pancakes be included in the options?Also, the coffee doesn’t taste good - strong and burnt tasting) -Nice staff, but they need more training: ＞Food Service is slow and inefficient. During breakfast and lunch, our food were served after hours of waiting. Some of our orders came incorrectly (not what we ordered). ＞Disorganize and lack in system. ＞They lack in staff both at the front desk and Sans rival Cafe. -They will charge you if you don’t return all your keycards. If this was a true 5 star hotel, you wouldn’t charge your guests for something cheap and disposable. Overall, our stay was ok (big rooms and nice pool), but lacking in amenities and training of staff. There are more cons than pros. Whoever owns this hotel seems like they are saving too much on costs. Never going to stay in any of the Henry Hotels in the Philippines.

We stayed only overnight at this unique beautiful botique hotel as we have to fly the following day to Manila . We were immediately greeted by a very special and charming lady by the name of February, very sweet and charming ! Welcome drink was really timely after 1 hour ride from Zambuanquita where we had our hotel for the Apo island diving the night before. What makes this hotel special is how friendly and accommodating the staff were, not to mention the Philippine hut style “igloo” & beautiful interior design.The role model for how to “treat” a guest is the GM & Operations Manager, Marlon Navarro. I am a Filipino expat who had lived over 40 years in Europe and just on a diving & golf safari with my buddy but I have never seen an “over the top” hospitality from a hotel manager. Marlon answered all our enquiries including where to have a nice dinner, bar to hang out, sightseeing and spa. For spa, don’t miss the hotel spa especially with Jess - one of my best massages in the Philippines. Also, as Marlon noticed that I have an Austrian guest who is a little bit inquisitive about the area, brought us even by himself to the Boulevard as my friend is quite tall for a “tuktuk” (our local Tricicle). I wish UNWND all the success in the world and without a doubt, with Marlon under it’s helm, it will be the top hotel in Dumaguete in due time. Thank you so much for this “unusual “ experience! La ubicación del hotel es buena, no lejos es el mayor centro comercial. Y el precio es muy alto, las instalaciones de salud del hotel se sientan muy buenas. El precio es más alto que el que habían vivido en la isla de Hong Kong. El servicio al personal está bien.

Está en el centro de la ciudad cerca de la plaza de Macdonald, Jollibee y Lee y otros, está bien que nos quedamos porque tuvimos un vuelo temprano, hay un ascensor a los pisos de su habitación. Puedes beber agua y agua caliente en el tercer piso, es básica pero la cama estaba cómoda y aire acondicionado en la habitación, estaba bien para nosotros, pero el personal de la mesa parecía miserable, quizá si sonrían su cara se rompería, muy raro para ver miserable personal de mirada
