The hotel and reception was great. But this is the second time i have booked a hotel thru you that say there is a shuttle service to the airport and there was none. They offered to book me a cab. The cab cost me more then the hotel room. Totally bot hapoy about this

The service at the hotel at check in was wonderful and the lovely lady who was there went above and beyond to make sure that I was settled nicely.
If everything had been as promised, I would have given this hotel 5 stars. But I specifically booked this hotel because their listing on ********* indicated that there was airport transfers to Dusseldorf Airport. Even though I requested specific information on the airport transfers, they did not indicate that it didn't exist until I got there.
There was also no service in the area for UBER, so I paid for a taxi for a longer distance than would have been necessary if I had just selected different hotel closer to the airport.
I also was under the impression that the hotel had a restaurant for dinner - that was not the case.
Overall a nice hotel if you don't expect a ride to the airport.

Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, das Bett gut, die Fenster eigentlich auch recht dicht, dennoch hört man natürlich die Straße. Alles in allem aber soweit ok und die Mitarbeiter sind wirklich sehr freundlich. Weniger schön: Das Zimmer war leider eiskalt - das war schon recht extrem!! Und im Bad gibt es gar keine Heizquelle … Das sollte man vielleicht mal überdenken.

Das Positive zuerst: Sowohl der Empfang, als auch die Bedienung beim Frühstück waren ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück selbst war sehr gut, Bacon und Rührei wurden erst frisch zubereitet, wenn man bestellt hatte. Das Zimmer sieht auf den ersten Blick nett aus, aber das moderne Design täuscht über einige Mängel hinweg: Besonders unangenehm war das unbeheizte Bad --- die reine Eisbox; geht im Winter gar nicht. Das Waschbecken mit dem nicht verstellbaren Wasserhahn ist so winzig, dass sogar Zähneputzen einiger Gymnastik bedurfte. Außerdem keinerlei Möglichkeit, die Handtücher im Bad aufzuhängen... Für eine Nacht wohl ok, aber wir fanden es mit jedem Tag ungemütlicher. Das Restaurant haben wir nicht genutzt.
