Yucca Park Aparthotel

Review is for the bar only as found this lovely bar within Yucca park run but 2 young Scottish boys First point the boys are very welcoming and polite , they’d offer breakfast and lunch menu and Tennents on tap for anyone looking for a proper pint Bar area is spotless and great place to chill out or watch sports open to anyone hours are 8am to 5pm until summer when the guys are hoping for some busy night. The pool area is not to large so people are more likely to be more friendly and this is what we found , would stay here just for the company at the bar friendly , fun , welcoming and Scottish beer

The Scotsman Bar advertised outside saying football today. When in entered the bar asking the barman for a bottle of Dorada, I was told that they weren’t having a mixed crowd for the game. I had no football ***** or colours on. I was wearing khaki green shorts and t-shirt. I informed the barman he should have this information on his sign. I can understand not having a mixed crowd in The Ibrox bar or The Hoops the names speak for themselves but in a bar within a complex is nothing short of disgraceful.

Just returned from a stay here and I must say it was fabulous. Our apartment was equipped with everything we needed for the week. Lovely quiet complex. We were initially worried as our bedroom backed on to the pool but this did not hinder our sleep in anyway. The Scotsmen bar has essentialls should you require anything but the nearest supermarket is a short walk. The apartment itself was clean and tidy, maybe a little dated but nothing worrisome. Gunita who checked us in and the gents running the Scotsmen were all lovely, accommodating people throughout our stay. Would definitely return again.

Nice secure complex in walking distance to small supermarket, fab restaurants, bars and the beach. Roughly €6-10 taxi journey to Las Americas but also walkable in the morning before the heat ramps up. Apartment was average but in line with price for 4 nights. Have stayed here on numerous occasions, all apartments different, some better/ more updated than others. The pool is clean and never a bother to grab a sunbed and place where wanted- can leave your towels, no one on site will remove them like other complexes. Some sunbeds are past their best but there are newer ones available in the stack. Pool bar was friendly and did the job considering you are a stones throw from bars at the Fañabe shopping centre/ beach. On arrival the office was manned and we were provided WhatsApp details for the complex manager. We were made aware she would not be on site at all times however she responded to our query via WhatsApp quickly and arranged to visit our apartment regarding our query. We were happy with this set up but some folks may not be. Only downside was our balcony doors had no locking system, a small metal wire connected the doors but don’t think it would stop anyone on a mission to enter! A plug socket had exposed wires most likely due to age/ wear and tear. However everything else was as expected- apartment was clean and did the job for 4 nights.

Great terrace, sunny and secluded, easy access to probably the best pool of all the resorts I've visited...too deep for kids, too cold for most adults. So I had it to myself. Very clean communal areas. Our apartment was comfortable. It's a 3 star rated place, I've rated 4 and would definitely return.

The location is Yucca Park is fantastic - you are only a minute or two from the beach, restaurants and shops. We benefited from a lovely sea view. Apartments are spacious and balconies have plenty space to enjoy the sun. The pool itself is lovely but the pool furniture is outdated and in need of replacement - this certainly lowered the ‘feel’ of the complex overall. The staff ensure the complex is meticulously clean at all times - the whole area was cleaned daily and to a high standard. The complex is advertised as ‘secure’ with codes required to enter but the pool bar is open to the public which means anyone can walk in- it’s maybe worth considering this when booking. The pool bar itself was our worst experience on this trip- unreliable opening hours, limited stock and simply put, it appears very ‘basic’ and unsightly. For example, the ice cream board was hand-written (scribbles) with cheap pictures of ice creams glued on. It’s a shame as there is a lot of potential but this really did impact our overall view of Yucca Park.

Stayed in a private apartment in Yucca Park so I cannot comment on overall package. Location is great and the overall complex is very clean and well kept. Shame that the bar is such a let down though. We tried it on three occasions but found it to have no atmosphere unless you are interested in loud football matches on TV. We could hear the noise inside our apartment . Not all residents want to listen to the racket. Bar had 3 large tv screens in a small area. Its opening hours are very sporadic and it was closed on several days. Yucca park needs a better pool bar for the guests. We stayed in Los Olivos last year and the pool bar was a great success for pool snacks and happy hour drinks creating a good hospitality area for residents. We weren’t happy that it is a gated complex yet this bar is advertised outside on the pavement for public use. You pay for a secure complex and yet anyone is allowed in the main entrance to use the pool bar. This defeats the purpose of coded gates elsewhere thru complex. I lost the sense of overall security when I saw this advertised!

Beach was near.as well.shopping The apartment (302) there was no dining table on the terrace, so breakfast outside was not possible

This place is really nice, it's in a great location, the pool area is fab! There's a poolside bar called the Scotsmen, this is reasonably priced, it has a well stocked bar and sells food. They televise football but would to the wise, if there's Scottish football on they'll show that ahead of ant English games. There's no sunbed wars, you can easily get a sunbed. The apartments are basic but fine, unfortunately we didn't have air con but some did, the bathrooms are fine, decent shower. Kitchens have lots of utensils etc, not that we eat in but you could do. We were on the ground floor, our patio area was very large with lots of seating. there's also a sofa bed in the lounge. The main bedroom s quite small but did the job. You have to pay for the safety deposit box/safe. Turn right out of the Yucca Park and there's a well stocked Supermarket on the corner. Turn left there and you're a two minute walk from the beech. Turn left out of the Yucca Park and you're a minute from the start of restaurants and bars. I would definitely return. Only downside was you have to be out of your room by 10:30 on your departure day, there's nowhere to put your luggage as reception isn't always manned and there isn't a shower room so if you're getting a late flight it's not ideal.
