I travel frequently for business, typically upstate New York and Connecticut, and this particular hotel is my go to home away from home. The most impressive thing about Staybridge is the team. They are very responsive to any needs i may have and the rooms are always clean. Do not hesitate to book a stay here. Not to mention the manager there is absolutely amazing!!!!! He handled all my issues directly and promptly I think his name is Sherwinn.

My wife and I used to love this place, and stayed here a number of times in the past….but this recent stay was like a dip into the inner rings of HELL. First, when we arrived our sheets and bedding had human hair on it, and obviously was not cleaned at all, but half-way shuffled to give the appearance of a made bed. Strike one! We did get moved to a new room, but that was not a good way to start our vacation. Then, we went to take a swim. Please know we had called ahead of time to make sure the pool was working, as we got the hotel for the purpose of taking our son swimming. That is why we booked it. The pool was ice cold, like the final ring of Hell in Dante’s Inferno, like totally freezing. I lasted a few minutes then pulled my kid out for fear he would get sick. (I did get sick by the way, the following day.) I called the front desk to ask about the heat in the pool and they said they were waiting on a part. I figured at least they were working on it and let it go. The next day we try to swim again and this time the pool is shut down, totally not working. Not a big deal except we had booked the hotel simply to use the pool. We asked to speak to the manager, and the woman at the front desk (who was very unfriendly) said she couldn’t find her but would have the manager call us. After several hours and no phone call from the manager, we decided to take a day trip to Oneanta where my wife went to school….since watching TV in a hotel is not that exciting and we had booked the room simply to use the pool. STRIKE TWO! We got back late that night, and I started not feeling well. The next morning the pool was still broken, and still no call from the manager. We went to breakfast and my son wanted the sausage offered but the pan was empty. There was more than an hour left on the breakfast schedule. We waited at least 20 minutes and no one was visibly working the breakfast and no sausage appeared either. So, I went to ask the front desk about the sausage situation. It was the same miserable woman as before at the front desk. The woman at the front desk was rude, and said “I don’t work there” when I told her about the breakfast situation. I thought ***? She cannot call or buzz the breakfast people from the front desk and inquire? I asked her: “does someone work there?” And she replied yes and told me to go back and find them. This I found to be very odd given we are in times of COVID and inviting people to go into a food prep area seemed weird, but I followed her direction and went back there, and found a middle aged woman so in love with her cell phone, oogling it as if it was the greatest lover she had ever known, and not seeming to be doing any work at all. I asked her about the sausage and she gave a one word reply of: “finished.” Really? It was an hour left before breakfast ended and they are going to start shutting down the options? I went back to my table, and my very disappointed 6 year old who didn’t get to swim other than a few minutes in a few

Dos adultos tuvieron una muy agradable estancia durante tres noches en este hotel en una habitación real. Muy limpio. Muy bonito muebles. El personal estaba muy acomodado, había toallas de baño grandes y fluffy en el baño. Muy bonito iluminación en la habitación también. El desayuno es muy bueno, con huevos de patatas de salsa y huevos fritos una mañana y huevos fritos, bacon y panqueques la siguiente, junto con los frutos habituales, yogurt, pasteles, muffines ingleses, bagas, pan, waffles, etc. Definitivamente en el mejor lado para esta gama de precios del hotel. Hay una gran piscina interior y gimnasio. El hotel tiene servicio de mantenimiento de la habitación diaria a diferencia de muchos otros hoteles ahora. Estaría aquí otra vez. Nota este es un hotel grande y los ascensores están situados a pocos pasos del lobby. Varios gasolineros dentro de una milla o algo así del hotel. A Walmart está a unos 10 minutos. En un viaje de 5 a 10 minutos, hay dos cenas de viaje de alta calidad, en función del tráfico, y comimos en el “Hora de cena” y nos disfrutamos de ella.
