Hemos disfrutado de 3 noches en este fantastico hotel y la verdad es que nos hubiéramos quedado mas. El hotel está situado en un acantilado precioso con unas vistas de lujo. No te cansas de mirar. Las habitaciones super limpias, el trato de los recepcionistas, camareros, etc excelente, muy amables. La última noche vino nuestra hija para hacer el resto del viaje con nosotros y no dudaron ni un momento en buscarnos una habitación lo mas amplia posible para poner la cama adicional. Nos cobraron sólo 25 euros por la cama y desayuno. De restaurantes probamos el de la piscina, el bar y dos cenas en el sly bar de sushi y fue fantastico. Vale la pena subir al sky bar. Es precioso. La piscina muy limpia y rincones diferentes para descansar.. tambien con servicio de camareros. En definitica es un buen lugar para ir a descansar y para poder caminar ya que tienen acceso directo al camino que hace la ruta de los valles colgantes. Ganas de volver!

Context - 12 night stay, family with 2 young teenagers in August We stayed in Villa 100, a 'luxury 2 bed townhouse' Accomodation: Great accomodation, some maintenance required, but not important. The accomodation was spacious, clean, beds were really comfortable, showers were great, loads of kitchen storage, sofas really comfortable, effective air com, kitchen with 4 burner hob, ovem, microwave, toaster, cofferr machine, washing machine and dryer. 5 star comfort, and nearly 5 star appearance (just a few maintenence piece needed ie chips in kitchen cupbaords, locks of bathrooms not aligned etc) Outside the accomodation we had 2 loungers, 4 would have been better, a table with 4 chairs with a few of a small pool. The pool near our villa was excellent. We generally were able to get this to ourselves at some points in the day, and there were always loungers available. This isn't the main pool. The main pool is a couple of minutes walk from the villa, and again excellent. it was quiet, but still an atmosphere, no problem getting loungers. On one day we had to hunt down an umbrella. There is also an indoor pool, that opens out to a terrace. Didn't think we'd use it, but it was really nice, and we used that as well. Useful when it's windy and the outdoor pool got chilly. The spa was good. My wife had a treatment that she said was very good. there was a steam room and sauna, both good, a small gym (didn't use). Jacuzzi was open, but didn't seem to work ie no bubbles! Outdoor pool bar was closed for refurb, but an indoor alternative was available. Restaurant was probably the biggest disappointment. We were self catering, used it once, and didn't return. The food was ok, but comparing it to the external restaurants we ate at, was nowhere near as good and significantly more expensive. Service in the restaurant was more comparable to a 3 star hotel. What was particularly disappointing was that 'portuguese' night was just a subset of the standard A la carte menu. Housekeeping were variable, ranging from spectacular to average! Some days they even unloaded our dishwasher which was a lovely touch. Other days they took away hand towels and didn't replace them. Resort did not have much to do for teenagers, other than making their own entertainment in the pool, but for us that was fine. Overall, a hotel is pleasant, lovely pool areas and accommodation is extremely comfortable but let down by the restaurant. Outside of the resort, in Carvoeiro we ate at 'Elliots' in the centre, and 'Recanto da Boavista' (2 minute walk from the hotel). Both of these restaurants were excellent, and catered well for my son who has a milk allergy. The other place we went to in Carvoeiro was Sandoskas. Again really good, but more cheap and cheerful. Whilst their bread contains milk, their baguettes don't, so hot dogs with baguette is a milk free option! The ice cream shop opposite also does a good range of vegan ice creams. Primero: veo la ultima opinion del 2020 !!! como es posible .... hemos pasado esta Semana Santa en este Resort 4 personas. Si buscais relax , desconectar , tranquilidad , 3 piscinas, 1 con vistas al mar , y una cuarta climatizada cubierta , jardines preciosos muy bien cuidados , apartamentos perfectamente equipados , coche con parking gratuito. Resort en zona sin ruidos , poca gente, descanso perfecto. Y mucho para ver y visitar , cuevas y paisajes expectaculares.

Just got back from a week here. We used it as a base for cycling which was ideal as the location was perfect to explore the area. There is an Intermarche 0.9 miles away. We had a 2 bed villa which was very spacious. Loved the separate lounge area and kitchen and of course a spare room. Yes it is dated and 1 of the beds was really noisy but was adequate for our needs. Villa Our villa faced the main road, which although seems small it was incredibly busy and we were disturbed every night, throughout the night by noisy traffic. There is a very small balcony area which didnt get the sun but the views were quite nice and you could see the sunrise. Food We were really disappointed, having stayed half board in many hotels of varying star ratings, this was by far the worst. Breakfast was childrens cereals (3 of), cold bacon, cold scrambled egg, toast, yoghurt, very watered down juices. Nice fruit salad, selection of cold meats and a cheese. It never changed. The evening meal was from a menu, hit and miss, most of the meat choices were tasteless and dry, the fish and lasagne were nice. I prefer a buffet style by choice. The waiting staff worked hard and were polite. Pool Outside pool was fantastic, plenty of sunbeds, large pool that didnt make your eyes sting or smell of chlorine. We didnt use the indoor pool. Wifi What wifi, there was none available in the villa and even when you went to the pool area or reception it was hit and miss. We needed it to upload our routes for the next day and it became an issue on occasion. There was no atmosphere at the hotel and I appreciate we came at the end of the season. I dont think we would stay here again sadly.

Envié un email a unas semanas antes de nuestra llegada para solicitar un apartamento en el piso superior con vistas al mar (pero esto está a la distancia) y eso es exactamente lo que tenemos. Tenemos un apartamento de 3 camas que era inmaculado y muy espacioso, cocina totalmente funcional, dos balcónes, una casa real de casa y muy bien pensado. El paseo a Carvoeiro lleva alrededor de 10-15 minutos abajo de la colina y normalmente se encuentra en Uber como barato y abundante. En el camino a la ciudad es un pequeño mini mercado para los esenciales, pero si quiere hacer una tienda principal hay varios supermercados en Lagoa, (Intermarche, ALDI, Apolonia, Pingo Doce) que fueron menos de 4 euros cada camino por Uber si no tiene un coche. El único lado de la habitación era uno de los dormitorios no tenía espacio dependiente de él, sólo algunos dibujos, sin embargo, había un guardarropa grande en los otros dos dormitorios y cuando llegamos nadie estaba en la recepción, No hay campanilla de llamada, así que sólo tuvo que esperar a Paulo para comprobar en qué en ese momento se sentía como para siempre después de haber viajado durante medio día para llegar allí.

First impression of the hotel were good, perfect location for us at the top of Carveiros main road near restaurants but far enough away to not be noisy. Reception and restaurant look to have all been recently decorated, nice and light decor. However I wouldn’t recommend the hotel for the reasons below - $40 for safe - $20 for safe cost and additional $20 deposit which you get back when you return the key. Our room keys didn’t work so had to go back to reception for that then when we got in the adjoining doors were locked so back down to reception again for those to be opened up. The rooms are very very dated and look dirty in parts. The plug socket by the bed buzzed and crackled so I unplugged it all holiday. The pressure on the shower was great however the bath didn’t drain very well and the hairdryer was really poor. The thing that spoiled the hotel for me the most was the 2 cleaning ladies, they did their job well but they were so rude, never smiled seemed angry with us if we weren’t ready for our rooms to be cleaned when they came - and it wasn’t like we were awkward as we were out and about from 11 every day and left the sign on the door to let them know. One day we were out from 9 on a trip came back at about 4 and they were cleaning our rooms, glared at us and told us to go away. Towards the end of our holiday my heart would sink if they were on our corridor. I usually leave a fairly decent tip for cleaning ladies when we’re away but not this time. On a positive note the breakfasts were really really nice, good selection all fresh and well presented and the hotel also has an indoor pool which was useful for us as we had a couple of cloudy days although this area too could do with a lick of paint and a bit of basic maintenance on cracked tiles and to be generally freshened up which it looked like the spa area had had already. I don’t think the hotel is a 4 star and based on the rooms would struggle for 3 star. Carveiro is lovely but I would not stay at this hotel again.

Muy buen hotel, un poco alejado de la playa, pero compensa por el precio. EL complejo se ve que supo tener su epoca de oro, y se lo nota un poco fuera de modo en algunos sectores, pero en general salvo las habitaciones que se ven de frente apenas se lelga al hotel, que estan con falta de pintura, el hotel esta en muy buen estado de mantenimiento. Los cuartos son amplios, y se nota que fueron renovados recientemente, con una pequeña cocina, con heladera, microhondas, despensa, etc. Todas tienen un muy lindo balcon terraza con mesa y sillas, que dan a la zona de pileta (en mi caso, hay tambien otras habitaciones que dan al frente). Cama super comoda, tamaño King, con 4 almohadas, algo que se aprecia muchisimo, buenas cortinas para oscurecer durante la noche, y en general un muy buen descanso. No contratamos el desayuno, por lo que no puedo opinar de eso, ni tampoco hicimos ninguna comida alli, pero pasamos a verla y ofrecian un menu a muy buen precio. La ubicacion es excelente si se está con auto, y se usa de base para ir a la playa de CArvoeiro, realmente hermosa, y visitar las famosas cuevas de Benagil, algo que no deben dejar de hacer. Muy buena atencion por parte de su personal, todos jovenes, pero con excelente predisposicion.
