Hotel Quisisana

This is the way a hotel should be run. They welcomed us back after coming 15 years ago. Every staff member is terrific especially the concierge group. They were spot on every time and handled everything that we asked. Its a beautiful hotel with the best location on the Isle. The terraced front to have cocktails is a major plus as well. Room was spacious and always clean. Plenty of towels and very comfortable bedding as well. The breakfast was plentiful with a lot of choices and lunch was great as well. A great place to stay

It had been many years since we first visited Hotel Quisisana. We were so happy to find it was just as wonderful as we remembered. Everything was superb. The service, the food, the room - we had a wonderful ocean view - all first rate. This place does not disappoint. Hated to leave.

We were just visiting the island and our tour guide advised us this used to be an “asylum”. That perked our interest and we found a lovely spot to sit and drink the BEST Moscow Mules ever. We found the staff lovely yet professional. A lot of people come and sit, look at the prices of the drink on the menu and leave. It is a little pricey (think higher than Cafe Florian) but SO worth it. The bartender who was making the drinks came out and gave us our third as our server told him we thought they were the best in the world (and they really were). Seriously worth a stop as not only are the drinks and staff great, but the “snacks” and people watching due to the location are great as well. We are looking into staying at the hotel here upon our return.

Thank you Quisi for our beautiful room and wonderful hospitality. An iconic hotel they offers peace and tranquility once you pass through the doors. A great hotel is not just location or a building but the wonderful team who make the guests feel at home. the Dolce & Gabbana make over of the pool made the pool area feel even more special. Sad to leave. Can’t wait to return.

I was not a guest but a client at the bar. I was overheated and dehydrated. I entered this hotel asking for free tap water because I was about to pass out. The bar man ended up giving me a full bottle of water and even asked if I needed a Dr and allowed me to sit on the terrace for some shade. I cannot give 5 stars as I was not a guest at the hotel but the staff were so kind to me!!

The Hotel is amazing the staff are wonderful and the location is on the point. This is my first time in Capri and for Sure it wont be the last. I really enjoyed the hotel and the Italian hospitality and the crowd. You must try there room service pizza.

Very tired and worn down. The staff were fine but not overly nice for the amount of money you’re paying ($2,500 per night). The common areas look like they have not been updated in 20 years. The room honestly was at the level of a 2 star hotel. There were dead bugs all over. The bathroom looked like a dungeon. The shower was so small I almost fell out of it multiple times, and I’m an averaged size person. My bed (a king but just 2 twins pushed together) was very uncomfortable and the linens were cheap and old. Honestly this place is gross and is in need of a MAJOR renovation.

The only thing grand about this hotel is the cavernous marble lobby that holds echos of what I imagine was once a nice place to stay. At over 200 rooms, the boasted history of the hotel does not keep up with modern amenities - even the most basic ones. The shower has a plastic shield guard that is so small you can’t wash your hair comfortably and without banging your elbows (I am a 120lb woman for reference). If you are lucky and get an interior / pool facing view, your seaward gaze will be interrupted first by the screeching unpoliced children, and then by the equally loud screeching of the breaking down doors. But more about the bathroom - it has phone plugs from the 80s / 90s still installed, the flushing is so loud you can hear it in the walls, and unlike other 5 star hotels in Italy that feature Dyson blow dryers, this one has a Stone Age monstrosity affixed to the wall. Fear not, surely for thousands of dollars a night the beds must be wonderful, you say? Well - pool facing rooms are at least quiet, so perhaps have a leg up on the standards (all first floor) that face the square and absorb the sound and riff raff turning the island into a sad version of Disney land without crowd control. If they tell you the standard rooms will be quiet after midnight, do not believe them. I assume, as well, the beds in a standard room are the same as pool facing ones. Those are certainly more quiet. But I’ve had better mattresses in motels. The “linens” are hospital quality. And there is no amount of service or hospitality that can make up for the aging bones, and failings of basic amenities. This is a 2 star air b n b vibe. Looks can be deceiving. Save your money. Or at least bring you own sheets.
