Aparthotel Princess

Aparthotel was a perfect place to home-base for a once in a life-time family ski trip.

The location is amazing, close to Canazei but in a very tranquil setting, with majestic mountain views. The accommodation was excellent, room spacious and comfortable, kitchen small but well appointed. Hotel facilities also excellent and a plus. Staff attentive. We got a gift on checking out, which was a nice touch. Only disappoin**ent was the wi-fi (you really have to fix this, we are in year 2023 and internet connection is a must), and noise starting rather early in the morning.

Enjoyed our stay tremendously. The hotel is located in a smaller, quieter village so much less crowded than others we visited which we appreciated. Shopping and dining were a little more limited in the town but since we were driving out every day, this was not a problem. The staff are very nice and helpful but keep limited hours. We were there in June so the weather was perfect for hiking and biking. The hotel is a short distance from a miles long trail that runs along the valley floor and goes from village to village. The room was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The only thing missing was a microwave. I suggest they get rid of the tv and put a microwave in its place.

We had a nice stay. The price is right and the value is without a doubt. The rooms are older, but well-maintained and very clean. They have most of what you will need for your stay. Linens and towels are provided which is great. The pillows however, leave much to be desired. The beds are comfortable enough. There are ample power outlets too, which was nice since we were 4 people. We did have a little trouble warming up the radiators when we wanted them on to dry our ski gear. And the wifi is painfully non-existent. The hotel is situated on a little hill - so there is a walk up after a day of exploring. Sadly there isn't anywhere onsite to grab a coffee or anything in the morning, but there is a charming bar just up the street (hill) where a sweet couple has great coffee and pastries. The pool and wellness area is basic but nice - but in all honesty could use a little updating. But the staff was very accommodating on our check out day allowing us to use that space to change before heading back out on the road. The staff that I encountered was very nice - and they gave us a wonderful recommendation for a lovely lunch on our way around the Sellaronda - so I always appreciate the local knowledge.
