Shower drain was blocked even though we asked to have it looked at twice nobody came. Had to keep starting and stopping the shower so wouldn’t flood, eventually just left it to flood as it was so annoying and nobody could be bothered to come, because we had to keep starting and stopping the shower we ended up opening the bathroom door so many times that the fire alarm was triggered, the men came to the 6th floor out of breath and saw our vaporisers and assumed we had vaped. Ended up paying a fine as no point in arguing even though we had gone out to vape throughout our trip as they would have seen on camera. The guy that came to investigate was more annoyed that he was out of breath than anything else, fine was £250. Update on smoke alarms are needed, vapour detectors are outdated. Because of covid nobody does housekeeping so we had to ask for new towels all the time that never came. Gave up in the end. Location is great but they are overworked.

Receptionist was great nice with help. The location was pretty quieter and easy to move to city circus area. Good stay for holiday.

The room was nice and location perfect! Breakfast was good and I was offered a free cup of coffee from the bar when I was too late for a refill when breakfast door just closed as I went for a refill. Service at reception was fast and friendly.

Excellent service from staff. Polite and friendly.
Rooms spotlessly clean. Excellent WiFi. Comfortable furnishings. NCP parking was validated by hotel giving 25% off parking fees.

Most credit goes to its location at center of City and Big Mall nearby. Breakfast area is also spacious.
Full set of toiletry is also in the room. Room is also quiet
Parking space can be issue sometimes. There is no indoor connection ftom St James car park adjacent to hotel.
