Dear Team at Elaf Taiba Hotel, I had a truly wonderful stay at Elaf Taiba Hotel. The location was excellent and very convenient for visiting the Prophet’s Mosque, which made my time in Madinah especially meaningful. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout my visit. I would also like to express my appreciation for the professionalism and kindness of the staff, who were always helpful and attentive. Their warm service made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, everything met and exceeded my expectations, and I felt well cared for during my time at your hotel. Thank you once again for your hospitality. The InterContinental Dar Al Iman Madinah is an excellent choice for anyone travelling to Madinah with worship in mind, who values being as close as possible to Masjid al-Nabawi, wants full service, and is willing to pay a premium for convenience and comfort. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, the staff are strong, and the location is hard to beat. If, however, your stay is more about casual tourism or you’re budget-sensitive and willing to be a little further from the Haram, you might find better value elsewhere. But if proximity and spiritual atmosphere matter to you — this hotel definitely delivers.

Very outdated and customer service is terrible. Rang reception from hotel room no answer (2 times) than had to go to reception to complain safe don’t work, they turned up next day to sort it out.

Service is excellent, all the staff from reception to door man is very helpful, clean and spotless room, but the amenities is not too satisfying compare to other hotel with the same price Location is perfect, near by gate 310 (men’s gate), and if you walk a little towards buggy cart to Quba, there are a lot of gift shops for shopping free with more affordable price than gift shops near Nabawi women’s gate

Excelente hotel, limpio y bien ubicado. La única desventaja es que algunos empleados del servicio de habitaciones son poco cooperativos y tardan en servir incluso después de solicitarlo. Lo extraño es que uno de ellos miente y afirma que rechazamos el servicio. La mayoría de las cosas que pedimos, decimos que no están disponibles, y las cápsulas de café del restaurante tardan en llegar, por desgracia.

I am not going to deny all the good points despite one terrible encounter. - excellent location, near Haram - connected to a mall - a lot of shops and restaurants nearby - staff in general was good -housekeeping people are amazing! One shocking encounter is when I called the reception early in the morning as my old father had fallen from his bed and I needed someone to help me pick him up. The heartless man at the reception said there is no one to help. Later he did send someone and then I called again to ask them to help me call an ambulance and he said ‘isn’t the guy there already’? And i was like yes, but that guy is not a doctor! I need a doctor That cruel guy didn’t offer any help and said i’d have to call the ambulance using my own phone. Luckily, it was not a serious emergency for my dad at the end but imagine what could have happened. Maybe the staff needs to show more humility and be human instead of thinking about their reputation only! Absolutely traumatized by this experience.

We had originally booked another hotel but upon arrival there we immediately canceled our reservation and were looking for another hotel in the area ASAP, something clean, close to Masjid Nabawi and fairly priced.  We knew the name and brand; however, we saw two Intercontinental hotels and went with the one we felt had a slight edge or advantage. The hotel was built many years ago and we were informed that it is in the planning process of a renovation so we knew ahead of time what to expect. It has signature blue carpet and a 1950’s/1960’s vibe that I personally adored (almost out of a James Bond movie with Sean Connery).   Everyday we stayed at the hotel, it grew on us.  The view outside was heavenly mashAla.  Remember you can open the window haha some people I imagine think they can’t.  It such an experience and you have to do it.  Most importantly, however, the sweatheart staff and how accommodating they were, you forget you’re staying at the Intercontinental and imagine you’re at your friends house.  Again, We had an amazing window view and could see in the direction of Uhud.  All The cafe’s are right outside of the hotel, the mosque is literally right outside the hotel and down the walking path, maybe a 5 minute walk.  Plenty of pigeons to feed, affordable Ubers/ Taxi right outside, you can walk to Uhud you can walk to Quba, you can do it all.  And the best part, the check-in/help desk are right in front of you when you walk in to the lobby.   Side note: if you enjoy peoppe watching , you get a great view from your hotel room to the outside.  They have a coffee bar in the Lobby with free dates and Arabic coffee (world class) and this hotel served the best Breakfast and room service food I’ve ever had and I’ve been to 51 countries, aged 44.  It was even at par or better maybe than the Jabal Omar in Mecca we stayed at.  You absolutely cannot lose out by staying at this hotel.  If you have any issues pick up your room phone and dial any one of the prompts and someone will alleviate any issues you have.   The hotel executive management were world class and again treated me like a friend/family.  Based off our repertoire I’d come back to this hotel because Sister Khadijah and staff were so amazing mashAla.

El caballero de la recepción nos permite hacer el check-in temprano, *************. Saludó y atendió nuestra solicitud cortésmente. La habitación es espaciosa, limpia. Ubicación estratégica muy cerca de la puerta de entrada de Damas en Masjid Nabawi. Hay bastantes ascensores, lo cual es importante, especialmente cuando los jemaahs van a la mezquita durante el tiempo de oración al mismo tiempo. Hay un centro comercial en el nivel 1 vinculado al hotel y un Bin Dawood más pequeño en el sótano. En general, fue una experiencia agradable alojarse en este hotel y consideraré alojarme aquí nuevamente en el próximo viaje a Medina.

Elegí este hotel por su ubicación. Es difícil conseguirlo porque se agota rápidamente. El otro día, la recepcionista fue sorprendentemente amable, lo cual fue un poco extraño porque el servicio al cliente en Arabia Saudita no es muy amable. El check-in fue como siempre después del Asar. El hotel suele estar muy concurrido, así que es muy raro conseguir un check-in temprano. Fácilmente accesible para personas en silla de ruedas. Hay muchos ascensores. Aunque está lleno, está bien porque hay muchos ascensores. En resumen, me alojaré aquí de nuevo, si Dios quiere.
