El lugar era maravilloso! Situado cerca de muchos buenos restaurantes, SNR y MTS. La piscina era realmente buena para los adultos y el lugar estaba bien mantenido. Sólo no olvides traer un tobillo. Hehe. Nos encanta la suite junior!

From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property.  Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. In conclusion: if you’re looking for a stay in Davao that offers more than just four walls — a place that feels both refined and welcoming — Dusit Thani Residence Davao delivers. The location can not be even better as it is close to the People's Park, the National Museum, and the Roxas Night Market. Staying in the Royal Mandaya as a person who likes walking and running, this is such a great gem to find. It's clean and well maintained, and the amenities and even the food are top notch, for an even lower price. I appreciate my stay in this hotel so much.

The staffs are very accommodating. The place is aesthetically beautiful.

The location is a bit far from the city but you can get around easy especially if you're travelling by car. Clean rooms and bathrooms. I would stay longer here if i could.

Lovely experience. Still not bad considering they are renovating some parts of the hotel. SM Lanang is closeby. Airport is only about 8mins drive. Lots of food options outside and massage is within reach Thai Boran.

We arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for. When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem. Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate.

Lo que me gustaba: - buena ubicación - excelente servicio al cliente - hermosa recepción - el desayuno era auténtico y delicioso Lo que no me gustaba: - se encontró el cocodrilo en mi habitación - las habitaciones y baños están muy fechadas en necesidad de desesperado para un descanso, a pesar de algunos esfuerzos de renovación desde mi última estancia a principios de este año - La TV es bastante sólo una decoración en la habitación, alrededor de 4-5 canales están disponibles con poca calidad de señal, sin exageración es imposible ver. No una TV inteligente, así que no YouTube o Netflix para mantenerte entretenido, si usted decide quedarse aquí, - es un valor pobre para el precio/noche, el reciente aumento de precios realmente no es justificable

The location is very convenient for me going to the airport, only thing I am disappointed a little bit the shower isn't working 😁 I collected water in a bucket for shower and for brushing teeth 😅. The Electric Kettle won't work either 😔. I hope the staff will check it properly(room 18) . The rest I'm happy for the service. I invited my aunt and my cousin in my room just to get some stuff and they went after I'm glad staff are not so strict. This my my 2nd stay in that hotel next trip I'm still want to book and stay

Great Stay! I had a really nice time at [Hotel Name]. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was great—close to everything I needed. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which had lots of good options. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.
