The cleanliness of the hotel surprised me, every part of the room is clean & comfy. Swimming pool & jacuzzi water were cold, it would be awesome if the jacuzzi water is hot. And in case you need extra pillow, they will make you pay for “renting” it.

Overall, the stay itself was comfortable, and the room met expectations. The hotel's aesthetic is elegant and beautiful, and its location is convenient, surrounded by chinese restaurants within easy walking distance. The breakfast buffet was also good and enjoyable. However, the experience was unfortunately dampened by issues at the front desk, hygiene standards in the common areas, and soundproofing. We arrived around 10am and requested an early check-in, fully understanding that the standard check-in time is 2pm and that any earlier arrangement is subject to room availability and discretion. However, we were told by staff that early check-in would only be possible with an additional charge of RM160. This created an uncomfortable impression where it felt less like a matter of room availability and more like withholding an available room in order to impose extra charges. The tone suggests monetising convenience which we weren't particularly happy about. After checked-in around 5pm. we noticed dirty plates on the floor left near the lift area. What was more concerning was that these plates were still there in the same spot the next morning when we checked out. This raised questions about cleanliness and hygiene, especially in shared spaces. In addition, the soundproofing could be improved. Noise from children crying near the lift was clearly audible, and due to the hotel's proximity to the airport, airplane noise could also be heard. This may be a concern for light sleepers or guests seeking a quieter stay. While the room and overall stay were generally good, these experiences affected our impression.

Worth the price, location easy to access, easy to find, near to my working site so convenient for the trip, many parking lots

My booking comes with a breakfast, which was great to start the day. Overall, I had a satisfying experience and would recommend City Rise Hotel Miri to travelers looking for an affordable, clean, and conveniently located place to stay.

The hotel location is very nice, located in the town center and there is a mall opposite. Need upgrade for the room, very old and run down. Those home appliances were aging and not clean. Can see some ants on the working desk as well.

La habitación era muy espaciosa. La piscina era agradable y puedes tener una gran escena desde la piscina. Sus hijos también amarán la piscina. La madrastra era un poco dura, despertó con un poco de retraso. El resort es un buen lugar para la familia reunirse esp cuando tenemos acceso limitado a Internet y llamadas. La excursión del resort incluido en la estancia es una gran exposición para los niños para comprender el ecosistema de los bosques tropicales.
