SSU SU WAIGreat stay at LOTTE Hotel Yangon. The room was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful lake view. Staff were friendly and professional, and the breakfast was very good with many choices. Peaceful location and true 5-star service. Highly recommended.

PPomPom0La habitación es muy agradable, pero no es muy agradable. La piscina es hermosa y me sorprendió que construyeran una piscina muy profunda para un hotel (1.9 m). La habitación está bien, pero me siento un poco pequeña. No me equivoques, ya están entre las habitaciones más amplias de Yangon, pero la habitación que tengo tuvo una entrada muy estrecha. El baño está separado con baño y ducha y baño. La TV es bastante pequeña, esperaba tener una TV inteligente más actualizada en este tipo de hotel.
La única cosa que no estaba satisfecha fue el desayuno. Sí, tenían varias opciones pero los sabores eran mezclados y honestamente, no me gustaban sus menús de comida.
En general, fue una memoria muy decente para quedarse en Melia.

Ah, by the way. Its hard to find some restaurants nearby - be prepared for taxi for any case. But they have 24h convenient store on first floor.
And - its very strange for the hotel of this level - there was a situation with exec lounge. It was in my booking but they refuse to give me access: ”It was an error in room description”. Guys, its really not my trouble, right? I wasnt in the mood for hard negotiations, so... let carma decide ))) And they have no local shuttle bus (yes, there is an error on hotel site). Heh )))

BBruce MWould stay again. Great location, close to area famous landmark by walking distance. Room need sound proof due to noise from street and near by park especially on morning. Also room key needed to be updated. Like old style bulk key chain back in the 80's . Great breakfast buffet and enjoy it. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Overall, very pleased with stay.

PPyae Pyae KyiThe front desk staff were very rude – no eye contact, expressionless faces, and unhelpful attitude. There is no room service available in the morning. I requested a water bottle to be sent to my room at 8:30 AM, but was told that room service only starts after 11 AM and that I should go buy water myself from the convenience store.

CCC TourWarning: Major language barriers and smoking issues at this new hotel
While this is a newly built hotel, I was shocked by the lack of English proficiency at a 5-star establishment in Yangon. The front desk staff spoke only Mandarin and Burnmese. Ironically, the IT technician was the only person who understood a bit of English, which was the only redeeming factor regarding communication.
Key issues for international travelers:
Language Barrier: Do not expect to use English with the reception; it is primarily a Mandarin-speaking environment.
Smoking Regulation: Despite ”No Smoking” signs in the lobby lounge, guests were smoking openly on the coffee tables. I also encountered guests smoking in the hallways and elevator lobbies on the guest floors. It felt as though I was in China rather than Myanmar.
Dining: The breakfast buffet is strictly Chinese-style. There were no Burmese food or drink options available at all.
Room Condition: My room had a persistent smell of smoke and was full of mosquitoes. This is likely because housekeeping leaves the doors wide open during cleaning.

00519青旅在老城區，離中央火車站不遠，一樓大廳，住宿在二樓和三樓，床單一客一換，房間有桌子，衹是窗户缺乏維護，關不上。前台有一位會點中文的男孩很好。工作人員衹會當地語，交流不暢，退房時前台還要我付最後一天房費，我已付，他説沒收到，幸虧會點中文的男孩出來證實我已付清房款。
