An absolutely beautiful stay in a wonderful place. My room was incredibly modern, had steps built into the furniture to a private balcony area, was incredibly clean and comfortable and I was really well looked after throughout. It was affordable, and one of the best places I've stayed. The passion for the local area really shone through from the moment I arrived, with a map on the front desk and friendly knowledgable service throughout.  It's not far from the main central area of Catania, and on a single road from the centre (more or less), so very easy to find your way from and to. There are shops nearby for water and snacks too. At breakfast, I was looked after and had a range of toast (which was prepared for me to order), pastries, yoghurt,  coffee and juice.  I feel very privileged to have found it and would have no hesitation going back or recommending. Outstanding.

Papali was on the first floor of a very old building, so expect to walk up a few steps with your luggage, because there's no elevator ... But, the Signore who welcomed us was very friendly and even went downstairs - while I already could go into our room - to help my husband find a parking spot on the street nearby. We had a very good night in a simple, but super clean and quite big room, comfy bed as well ... Bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of towels ... The first picture I took in the morning after our night at Papali out from the balcony, the second was taken in the morning when we had our breakfast served kindly in the little dining area ... Btw, Papali is located wonderfully - it's an easy walk to all the main sightseeing spots of Catania! I added some pictures of our evening walk ... Summary: Papali is a great choice locationwise and if you do not want to spend too much, but still want to have a cozy night at a simple but friendly and nice place.

I arrived at the rooms, but my internet wasn’t working, so I had to ask the lovely ppl in the cafe underneath to phone the owner. All went well after that. I would get the info needed to check in before arriving, incase your Wifi doesn’t work straight away. The room is in a block of flats, So central to everything, check out the market on Saturdays, you can see it through through your window. It was rather cold and stormy when I arrived and was really cold, I asked for a heater and it came straight away. The flat has coffee and tea facilities in the main kitchen/dining area. Good value and best location, near everything,can be a bit noisy at night as it’s over a busy bustation/square. Shops and train station all nearby and walkable. Highly recommend! Un buen lugar si se detiene por unos días en Catania, el precio está en línea con la calidad. Puede haber dificultades con la liquidación, discutir todas las nuances con el anfitrión a priori, ya que no pude llegar inmediatamente a la entrada y recibí instrucciones de liquidación en el último momento ya en el lugar. La habitación está limpia, todo funciona, pero me gustaría más servicios. Por ejemplo, la mesa suave y el refrigerador en la habitación no impedirían. Las comidas mínimas y la taza de té serían muy bien por el camino. Hay buenos lugares para una cena y café en la zona, así como la posibilidad de llegar a la playa pública a pie, pero un poco lejos del centro. Buen balcón, pero desgraciadamente tengo un número de donde no vi Etna, que quería ver fuera del balcón.

Un hotel bellamente renovado de estilo antiguo, perfectamente ubicado en el centro histórico de Catania. Todos hablaban inglés de maravilla. La habitación era un loft en la planta baja, muy cómoda, con un magnífico baño privado. Excelentes vistas, excelente ubicación, fantástico restaurante en la azotea con bar, tanto en el interior como al aire libre, lo cual fue estupendo porque hizo bastante frío durante un par de noches que estuve allí.

L'albergo è in una posizione buona, di fronte al mare ma non troppo lontana dal centro, il parcheggio a soli 10 euro è molto comodo, per ciò che è concerne alla colazione sia il dolce che salato vanno bene sia per varietà che per gusto inoltre cosa non banale la sala è molto ariosa con accanto la piscina (che è attiva dalle 9:30 del mattino). Sia lo staff dell'hotel che del ristorante sono stati disponibili, spiace che il ristorante al quarto piano non sia aperto e questa comunicazione non l'ho letta, ma senza dubbio è una mia mancanza. La camera comunque è di giuste dimensioni ed ha un balcone sul mare quindi ottimo, il letto mi è sembrato abbastanza comodo. Credo che il rapporto qualità prezzo dell'albergo possa starci, ce qualche nota negativa, confermo che il condizionatore fa un po' di rumore, magari per qualcuno può risultare ”invasivo”, nella nostra camera il pulsante dello scarico era ”poco funzionante” dovevi girare il tasto e poi premerlo per tirare l'acqua. Grazie comunque a tutti per l'ottima ospitalità e la tanto cordialità riservataci.

Vengo spesso in questo hotel: la struttura è abbastanza nuova e la maggior parte delle camere è accogliente. Questa volta ho prenotato una tripla, nonostante fossimo in coppia (non c’erano doppie libere). Non è stato un problema, anzi… la stanza era più grande, con un letto singolo aggiuntivo che non guasta mai. Ho apprezzato molto anche il bagno nuovo e pulito. Unico neo: la finestra, meravigliosamente grande, ma non oscurabile. Quindi, indipendentemente dall’orario, entrando in camera ci si sente un po’ abbagliati dal sole 😄. Ho fatto una richiesta specifica che questa volta non è stata soddisfatta subito, ma mi è bastato chiedere per vederla prontamente esaudita. Anche la colazione si fa sempre rispettare, anche se l’ultimo giorno siamo arrivati un po’ più tardi (credo verso le 8:30-9:00) e la frutta era già finita, a causa di uno stormo di comitive spagnole che, in effetti, avevano già “saccheggiato” anche il giorno precedete. Diciamo che per me il rapporto qualità prezzo è giusto, non una cosa da poco in questi anni. Grazie sempre allo staff, alla prossima!

Hotel bardzo czysty. Obsługa super. Śniadania niestety pozostawiaja wiele do życzenia. Ale grafitykacja jest super kawa.

Algo grande. Bungal justo al lado de la playa. Gran levantamiento del sol. Bella vista de Etna. Linda trabajadora - mega hombre. El desayuno es modesto pero delicioso. 12 minutos al aeropuerto. Ativo 24h. Estoy muy feliz. Este lugar es probablemente ganado en verano, en la temporada. Nice infraestructura. Casas en el parque de playa de arena madera 24-hour servicio. Sólo vaya allí.
