JJamesHallGreat friendly couple running this hotel, booked during a period where a lot of hotels were booked up, usually I go to travlelodges/premierinns/holidayinns but this for the price this was way better and more personable. Granted it is a long old running Hotel, the reviews I see of this place are correct! Nice hot showers, hot chocolate and water bottles were an amazing bonus, just a continental breakfast which was free and all I personally needed to start my day. Right next to a convenience store for those quick forgotten items and even a bar if you wish to have a drink or hang out at the hotel. One thing I'll mention is stairs, might be difficult for anyone with a walking disability. Even the extra little services they offer are nice, like leaving your bags at the reception if your return journey is after check out if you plan to spend the day in Blackpool is a nice touch.

PParnavsamOverall, it was an amazing experience, aside from a few minor issues.
**Positive:**
1. The location was good, although it was a short walk from town. However, there is a tram service that runs every 10 minutes, and the cost was £12 per day for three people, which provided unlimited travel for the whole day.
2. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options to choose from.
3. The hotel environment was pleasant, featuring a nice reception and lobby area.
4. The room included a safe where you could store valuable items like your laptop and tablet for extra protection.
**Negatives:**
1. Our toilet bin was not emptied after cleaning, and they forgot to replace the extra tissue roll in the bathroom, which was inconvenient.
2. There were no slippers or facial tissues provided in the room.
3. The bar was very quiet, and we were so bored that we didn't visit again.

UUsuario invitadoEl hotel está muy bien situado, pero el personal podría hacer algunas entrenamientos en el escritorio principal, no todos habían estado allí antes, así que sería agradable saber dónde estaba el ascensor a la habitación y dónde estaba la sala de comedor y las salas de entretenimiento. La sala de cenas está en el primer piso del camino. 😃

UUsuario invitadoHotel staff, facilities, food, swimming pools and entertainment were brilliant. Everything was presented really nicely in the foyer/reception area. The bedroom and carpets were really tired, however, and need a revamp to match the quality hotel foyer. We found the mattresses uncomfortably soft and didn't sleep well, so assume these were old too. A really mixed experience, but on balance the positive outweighed the negatives. The staff could not have been more accommodating or helpful. Highly recommend getting tram passes on app. before you arrive as need proof of children's DOB from passport or birth certificate. The tram stop is really conveniently opposite the hotel. Excellent reliable service :-)

UUsuario invitadoomg from the moment I walked in i was attended to nothing was to much trouble i had a sea view double room there was a act on downstairs very loud was worried about the house but never heard a thing the decor is a bit dated but the friendliness of the staff and yhe feel of the hotel made up for that I had a fantastic stay it does just what it says on the tin I will definitely be goung back

UUsuario invitadoThe quality of this hotel was not great, but all we wanted was somewhere to sleep while we were in Blackpool so it served its purpose, and for the valid it was perfect.
Be aware that although the hotel says there is WiFi, it is only on the lobby and doesn't reach the rooms. We also didn't have a remote for the TV and it wouldn't work without, although we asked for one multiple times, the staff were unable to find one that worked for our TV.
The walls are very thin and you hear every noise from around the hotel. Luckily (also unfortunately) our room was the furthest away possible.
The water pressure on the shower was amazing. The hotel water on the tap comes out boiling hot straight away.
Overall, the quality of the hotel wasn't great, but for the price it was everything we needed

UUsuario invitadoClean and tidy room, quad with private bathroom, 2 double beds. Blinds on windows instead of curtains and not blackout blinds, which left gaps in so people could see into room. Tv and tea/coffee in room. No breakfast available as no chef currently employed. £50 cash deposit must be given on check-in which was returned with no problem after room inspection. Well stocked bar and karaoke with bingo was played on Friday and Saturday night. Parking available at £10 a night but looked a bit risky out the back so didn’t park here. Reception not always manned and can be a long wait for someone to come after pressing bell. No hot water on 2nd morning so it looks like the early risers take all the hot water. For the price for a family of 4 over easter it wasn’t as bad as some reviews.
