I liked close to everything in this hotel, so I extended my stay for a second night. The location is really nice: the hotel is within walking distance to the nearby town and the touristic area although it requires crossing a main road. Staff was very welcoming and helped us find a driver to go to the more remote sites we wanted to visit (some tulous and rice terraces). The room was very clean, modern without superfluous, with a pretty view and it was very quiet at night. The horel breakfast was very good. In addition, there were a few restaurants in town. The one we picked was delicious and overall we enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere of this small town.

If you’re already familiar with ATOUR hotels, you don’t need to read this review, you already know how consistently fantastic their hotels are. This location is no exception. For those new to ATOUR: these hotels are known for excellent service at a fair price. Rooms are clean, amenities are well thought out and locations are typically convenient. Simply my favourite hotel chain in this price range and once again, they didn’t disappoint.

Each team member demonstrated a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction, ensuring that all my needs were promptly addressed. The amenities and facilities offered were of a high standard, contributing to a restful and enjoyable experience. Given my excellent experience, I am delighted to say that I will most certainly choose to stay here again when I return to Meizhou. This hotel undoubtedly exemplifies quality hospitality and attention to detail, making it a highly recommended choice for both leisure and business travelers seeking comfort and exemplary service.

The hotel condition is good and clean. We booked a few family rooms and all of us are pleased with how much space there was. Staff were helpful and friendly. My kids love the robot service to deliver toilet paper and coffee. Will definitely book this hotel if we come to Meizhou again.

Mi primera visita a Meizhou City, casa de la gente de Hakka. Estaba en Days Hotel. Supuestamente un hotel de 4 estrellas, este lugar ofrece un gran valor para su estancia. La habitación es grande por comparación. El hotel dispone de una habitación de lavandería en el segundo piso y todo lo que tiene que hacer es añadir su lavandería al lavadero y dejar una nota con su número de habitación y tipo de lavandería. El servicio de lavandería y secado terminará, pondrá sus ropas y los entregará a usted bien envasado en un saco de lavandería. El hotel es un hotel de 2 estrellas y tiene una habitación de 2 estrellas. Habla de servicio personalizado. La ubicación es muy buena, y me parece que los días están cerca de todos los lugares de interés y comida que he señalado. Afortunadamente, el viaje de viaje es fácil y barato en Meizhou. Intento volver a Meizhou en el futuro.

The entrance and the lobby of the hotel looked more like a jade and furniture display store than the usual hotel lobby. The night club and massage parlor in the same building gave the impression of an entertainment outlet. However, the rooms were well- appointed like a modern business hotel with auto-flush toilet and voice-controlled lightning, A/C, and TV. The mattress could be a little firm for some but was perfect for my back. Although the shower's water took almost 2 minutes to get hot, the water pressure was excellent. Except for a frosted glass for the shower and another for the toilet, there was no wall partition. There was no fridge in the room. The included breakfast was simple with some traditional Hakka dishes and snacks. Only hardboiled eggs are available as there was no egg station. Breakfast selections were 95% the same for both mornings. There are numerous eateries, cafes, convenience stores, and supermarkets around the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The building itself is beautifully restored and carries deep historical character, as it once served as the old ticket station where the ferry used to dock. You can really feel the thoughtful care that went into transforming this heritage structure into a hotel — the preservation work is evident in every detail, blending history with comfort in a way that feels both respectful and welcoming. The staff on March 1st were exceptionally warm and attentive — both the gentleman and the lady were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they truly made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They personally showed us the room and offered to help with our luggage, checked in on our food order, and even came by afterward to clear the plates. Their knowledge of the area was impressive, and they happily shared suggestions on what to see and do nearby. Meanwhile, fireworks were still going off in the distance, adding a festive atmosphere to the evening. The hotel itself continues to impress the more you explore it — a carefully restored historic space filled with thoughtful touches, including a lovely fruit platter in the room. There is also an interesting hall dedicated to Hakka culture that doubles as an event venue, and a stunning bar on the top floor overlooking the water, where we could watch people setting off fireworks across the river.
