The hotel offer Smart Room control systemand free laundry services. The room is spacious and clean, and very comfortable The staff is very helpful and friendly, offer assistance readily. I liked close to everything in this hotel, so I extended my stay for a second night. The location is really nice: the hotel is within walking distance to the nearby town and the touristic area although it requires crossing a main road. Staff was very welcoming and helped us find a driver to go to the more remote sites we wanted to visit (some tulous and rice terraces). The room was very clean, modern without superfluous, with a pretty view and it was very quiet at night. The horel breakfast was very good. In addition, there were a few restaurants in town. The one we picked was delicious and overall we enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere of this small town.

The hotel’s location immediately stood out — perfectly situated between the parking lot and the waterfront square, making it incredibly convenient while still feeling connected to the heart of the town. The building itself is beautifully restored and carries deep historical character, as it once served as the old ticket station where the ferry used to dock. The staff on March 1st were exceptionally warm and attentive — both the gentleman and the lady were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they truly made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They personally showed us the room and offered to help with our luggage, checked in on our food order, and even came by afterward to clear the plates. Their knowledge of the area was impressive, and they happily shared suggestions on what to see and do nearby. Meanwhile, fireworks were still going off in the distance, adding a festive atmosphere to the evening. The hotel itself continues to impress the more you explore it — a carefully restored historic space filled with thoughtful touches, including a lovely fruit platter in the room. There is also an interesting hall dedicated to Hakka culture that doubles as an event venue, and a stunning bar on the top floor overlooking the water, where we could watch people setting off fireworks across the river. The hotel condition is good and clean. We booked a few family rooms and all of us are pleased with how much space there was. Staff were helpful and friendly. My kids love the robot service to deliver toilet paper and coffee. Will definitely book this hotel if we come to Meizhou again.

My first visit to Meizhou City, home of the Hakka people. Stayed in Days Hotel. Supposedly a 4 star hotel, this place offers great value for your stay. The room is large by comparison. The hotel has a laundry room on the second floor and all you have to do it to pop your laundry into the washer and leave a note with your room number and type of wash. An attendant will finish off the wash and dry cycle, fold your clothes and deliver them to you packed nicely in a laundry bag. Free! My travelling friend complained about the smell of smoke in his room. Hotel was apologetic and arranged a nicer (larger) room for him immediately. Manager on duty gave special attention to us and chatted with us whenever he saw us. Talk about personalised service. Location wise, I find Days to be rather close to all the sightseeing and food places I earmarked. As the city does not have a subway and the bus comes in rather long intervals, the location becomes more important. Fortunately, ride hailing is easy and cheap in Meizhou. I plan to return to Meizhou again in the future. Definitely staying in Days again.

The hotel is conveniently situated at a junction where you can find food very easily. There is also a supermarket nearby so we could just stroll over to grab a yogurt drink after meal. The hotel room looked dated and it’s observable from the design and the bathroom, as well as the carpets. However, the room is reasonably clean and service was sincere, friendly and prompt. I sent some clothes for laundry and the staff took the effort to inform me that the clothes would be hand washed then dried under the sun so they should be ready by evening time later on. She also informed me of the pricing, then went on to ask if I was alright with that. I like it that they are very clear with charges and there is no hidden cost. Service was also very prompt. I asked for more water at the concierge when I came back from dinner and the room service staff was already waiting for me at my room door with the water by the time I got out of the lift. The beds were clean and comfortable too. My aunt and I rested well for the two nights we stayed there. The only negative was probably the air conditioner which was quite loud. But once we fell asleep, it didn’t bother us. There is also a very cute tea set in the room which guests could utilize if they wanted tea. It would have been better if they had given us four bottles of water instead of two. Then we would have been having our little tea appreciation session more regularly.
