We took the bus from Shangrila and the hotel picked us up at a designated spot for a quick 5 minute drive through some of the most spactacular mountain sunset views.
Check in was quick, easy and within minutes we were shown to our room. The room was huge with a floor to ceiling window facing Meili Mountain, a bathtub and projector with huge screen. The sofa was so big I began to think it was a bed.
The shower and toilet were spotlessly clean with beautiful large warm towels as well as some quality toiletries and bathrobes.
The bedroom was well appointed with very large bed, writing desk and a good oxygen supply. The whole place had underfloor heating which was super comfortable.
This little hotel has a rooftop bar/cafe with the most spectacular views. Drinks range from tea and coffee to some cocktails all of which are served with snacks by a very pleasant young man. He was super helpful each time we visited the bar and even made sure the stove was well stocked with logs on the night we wanted to stay late to see the stars.
We had local breakfast at the hotel each morning which was of excellent quality and very filling. We also had our evening meals at the hotel and the quality was excellent with great flavour and variety.
The staff are all super helpful and were able to recommend some local spots to visit as well as arrange a car to Feilai Temple and a car to take us back to Shangrila for a great price.
The whole experience at Deqen Meili GY Banshan Homestay made me wish I had booked more nights. It was the highlight of my trip to Yunnan and I will definitely stay here again next time. I can highly recommend and I miss it so much!

UUsuario invitadoEl hotel al lado del templo Feilai es uno de los mejores. Dudaba en quedarme en un hotel a este precio porque no podía ver la montaña Jinshan en la reciente temporada de lluvias. Sin embargo, conduje por la carretera nacional 214 y había Hay muchos hoteles y B&B en el camino. Sólo este hotel se veía bien desde fuera. Fue muy satisfactorio cuando lo vi, así que apreté los dientes y me quedé en este lugar.
Servicio: El hotel es muy cómodo en términos de servicio. Si debe evaluar el servicio, puede compararlo con Haidilao. Desde el momento en que conduce hasta el hotel, puede sentir el entusiasmo del chico del hotel. No solo el equipaje Se entregará desde el garaje hasta la puerta de la habitación, será gratuito. Mejoramos el tipo de habitación y el piso, brindamos explicaciones entusiastas y servicios de mayordomo, y nos dimos un pequeño obsequio cuando salimos del hotel.

Higiene: Las sábanas y fundas nórdicas están muy limpias y han sido cuidadosamente desinfectadas. No hay manchas de agua en el inodoro. Se proporcionan tapetes desechables en el inodoro. La habitación está limpia y fragante sin olor.

UUsuario anónimoEl hotel es realmente bonito, con vistas a las montañas nevadas. Es muy cómodo disfrutar de la nieve tumbado en la cama. Al principio, reservé una habitación con dos camas individuales, pero el personal de limpieza nos cambió a una habitación de lujo con cama extragrande en el quinto piso sin coste alguno. ¡La vista es aún más hermosa! El desayuno también es delicioso y todas las camareras son muy amables. El diseño del hotel es precioso. Le pedí a un fotógrafo de viajes que me tomara fotos. Al principio quería tomar algunas fotos de forma casual, ¡pero muchas de las que tomé quedaron preciosas! La señorita Wanwan me ofreció un paquete económico y finalmente seleccionó muchas fotos que me gustaron. ¡Amigos! ¡Muy bien! ¡Recomendado!

UUsuario invitadoEl interior y los alrededores del B&B son muy bonitos. Como cambié de habitación en otro B&B, llegué a las 10 de la mañana. La recepcionista fue muy atenta y amable. Me agregó a WeChat para evitar que me expusiera demasiado al sol y me dijo cuándo podía registrarme. Una grata sorpresa fue el balcón equipado con binoculares (pero no se queden mirando las montañas nevadas demasiado tiempo, ya que el reflejo del sol puede ser muy perjudicial para la vista). También había un libro sobre la Montaña de Nieve Meili, publicado por el dueño del B&B, junto a la cama. Hojeé las primeras páginas, que explicaban brevemente el origen de la Montaña de Nieve Meili, y tenía ganas de leer más. Lamentablemente, estaban agotados. En general, ¡el B&B está muy bien gestionado! Fue una estancia cómoda y una experiencia agradable.

UUsuario invitadoExcellent service by all staffs from the moment we stepped out of the car on check-in until we stepped back into the car on check-out! Upon check-in, we were greeted with some snacks and local specialty tea! Check-in was seamless. The afternoon tea were amazing with surreal views of the Meili 13 Peaks. We had early dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food were scrumptious! At 8.30pm, we were served with some local dessert which, also, were delightful! The evening activities were fascinating where knowledgeable staffs explained about the different peaks of Meili Snow Mountain and a brief session of Astronomy! There was also a painting session that was fully assisted by the talented staffs! For breakfast, we were spoilt for choice. Our stomachs were filled with happiness. Will definitely return when we re-visit Shangri-La!

GGlobetrotter & HikerWe highly recommend staying in Yolo Guesthouse if you are staying overnight at Upper Yubeng Village. The owner and staff of the guesthouse was very friendly, helpful and informative throughout our stay.
We connected through WeChat prior to arrival and liaised with the guesthouse for transport from Lower Yubeng to upper Yubeng. The transport was included in the reservation. On arrival in the afternoon, the staff introduced and escorted us to a nearby restaurant for lunch even though it was drizzling.
The guesthouse is strategically located to have views of the valley downstream and upstream. The building structure is sturdy and well designed compared to many other accommodations in the villages. The interior of the room and the rooftop coffee bar is beautifully designed and clean. They also have Dyson hairdryer and Smeg electric kettle. Coffee at the rooftop bar was decent but it was accompanied by amazing views of the valley. We were the only ones at the rooftop bar after check in and we also had their in-house hotpot at night which we enjoyed.
Prior to departing for our day hike (Glacier lake from Upper Yubeng Village) the next day, the guesthouse even provided hiking poles, crampons, bottled water, Red Bull canned drinks and a homely ham and egg sandwich. We were also allowed to leave our bags stored with them as we had to check out in the late afternoon after returning from the hike. After checkout, the guesthouse also helped to call a vehicle to transport us down to lower Yubeng village.
We wished we had stayed here longer throughout our trip to Yubeng. We felt very welcomed and had a memorable stay. Thank you so much!

XxanixxIf you are looking for one of the most affordable ways to wake up to the breathtaking sight of the Meili Snow Mountain, look no further than FANSU at WUNONGDING. Our stay here was nothing short of incredible.
The primary reason for our visit was the sacred Meili Snow mountain, and the view absolutely delivered. Waking up to that majestic panorama right outside our window was a highlight of our entire trip. For the value, it's an unbeatable location.
The hospitality here is what truly sets FANSU apart. The staff are super helpful and friendly, going out of their way to make us feel not just like guests, but like family. They created a homey and comfortable atmosphere that made it hard to leave.
A special memory was made on our last evening when the staff taught us how to sing the beautiful ******* song ”FLY” by ANU. It was a spontaneous, joyful moment that we will cherish forever. A super big thank you to them for that!
Regarding the food: we found the meals to be absolutely yummy and comforting. While we've seen some comments about the dinner being expensive, we found it perfectly reasonable for our usual dining expenditure, and more importantly, the quality and taste justified it. The breakfast was also lovely and set us up perfectly well for the day.
We left with full hearts, amazing photos, and great memories. If you want an authentic, warm, and unforgettable experience facing the Meili Snow Mountain, we cannot recommend FANSU highly enough.

LLinda PuiJust to make it clear that the location of this hotel is not at the Meili Viewing Platform. You need to walk around 10 minutes to reach the platform to watch Meili at sunrise. The mountain that is in the background of the hotel is Baima mountain.
Having said that, we loved our stay at this hotel. The cabin was nicely decorated and equipped with all amenities. We loved the bathroom! The heater was working well in the cold weather.
The uncle was lovely. It was a bit hard for us to conmunicate what we wanted as we don't speak Chinese but through Wechat translation he was able to arrange a car (shared trip) to Mingyong Glacier and a private transfer back to Shangri La for us. The auntie at the breakfast was also lovely and welcoming, trying to chat with us all the time.
One thing to note is that aroud the area there are a lot of construction sites (there is one opposite the hotel), so it can be dusty and noisy at times. Please check with the hotel about the construction if it is still ongoing during the time you want to visit.
All in all, I highly recommend this place if you want a lovely cabin experience (with sky window!) away from the busy area. However, you won't see Meili from the hotel's windows.

The property itself is stunning, especially the vineyard, which adds so much charm. I loved the free wine tasting sessions, and the hosts were incredibly kind, caring, and always eager to make sure we had everything we needed. Their warm hospitality truly made the experience feel personal.
The food was excellent, with every meal prepared thoughtfully and bursting with flavor. For those who love a bit of adventure, the ATV facilities are a fantastic addition. We also enjoyed grape plucking right in the vineyard—such a unique and fun activity!
Overall, this place is a perfect blend of tranquility, great service, and memorable experiences. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature with a touch of adventure.
One small issue I had was that the air-conditioner was blowing warm air, but after I informed the team, they fixed it within a short time. Great service and quick response — really appreciated it!
