The views are truly stunning, though the hot spring area can feel a little less private than expected, as people often pass by. Breakfast is delicious and thoughtfully prepared. What impressed me most is that the place is managed by a group of young, passionate people — their energy and creativity are inspiring.

Getting to the accommodation is quite an experience and would have been confusing without a local, especially since these details are not available on Trip.com - entry tickets first need to be purchased to access the area. Thereafter, one needs to drive to a pick up point to board a public bus. The public bus will then send passengers to a drop off point where most hotels are located. This hotel had a vehicle to pick guests up from the drop off point but this would not have been known without prior communication with the local guide who was with us. The accommodation also gave us quite a scare when we were en route by telling us that another group had already occupied the rooms we booked - it later turned out that an error had been made on their end. Hotel is located within the self-contained tourist town which has a small provision shop and which is also where the pick up point for another mountain top tour is. An upgraded room is what is reflected in this review. Otherwise, the actual room - much smaller without many of the amenities, would have been rather pricey. Bed was comfortable but water quality suspect at times. Room has heated flooring instead of air conditioning - it was rather cold (about 8 degrees) in the mornings. Hotel provides a two-way private bus to see the sunrise on the mountain top, which was a real treat. There was some miscommunication between the bus driver and non-China tourists, which almost resulted in all of us not being picked up after the morning hike. Hotel also has complimentary jackets but this could have been made known. Breakfast thereafter had a good spread. Booking also came with an afternoon tea, which the hotel staff gave discretion to be used at any time - for all drinks below 50 RMB. Also came with some nuts and mango cake. A decent stay overall albeit with some hiccups.

Amazing stay at YiJing! The experience at the cabin was truly magical, with its one-window-one-framed view setting that effortlessly brought the beauty of the outdoors inside. Even the bathtub had a stunning vista, making every soak an indulgent retreat. The cabin’s full facilities, including a Dyson hair-dryer, floor warming and an auto toilet, added a layer of luxury that made us feel pampered at every turn. The guest service was simply unparalleled. From the moment we were welcomed at the entrance by the friendly resident dogs, we felt right at home. The welcome drink and snacks, paired with a delightful afternoon tea, set the perfect tone for our stay. Dining recommendations were spot-on, ensuring we enjoyed the best local flavors. The turn-down service, complete with a delightful Chinese dessert soup as in-room support, was a thoughtful touch that highlighted their attention to detail. One of my personal highlights was the Marshall speaker; it allowed us to fill the cabin with our favorite music, creating an inviting atmosphere that felt like our own little sanctuary. We were also gifted with a special Xinjiang gift upon our departure, which was a lovely surprise! Despite the rain and cold that greeted us upon our arrival in Hemu, our stay in YiJing more than compensated for the dreary weather. La comida es muy deliciosa. Comimos cuatro comidas en una fila, disco de comida, hay servicio de transporte, cerca de la nueva aldea, el coche es muy conveniente.

The host was friendly and fetched us from the bus stop, and even provided a free room upgrade allowing us to have a direct view to the snow-capped mountains. Very appreciated on the nice gesture. However, we encountered the sewage flowing out from the underground pipes when we were about to take shower. The host was quickly attending to the issue and whole process of cleaning took 2 hours till 12am. Despite the effort, the smell was still in the air and the sewage still flowed out from time to time. Unfortunately, there was no room available for an exchange and we had to bear it whole night. The experience was discounted. In addition, there was sweating smell from the pillow that I had to use once-off cotton towel provided by the hostel to cover the surface. Other than that, the view was nice and the food was decent.

El personal del despacho frontal, ShaSha, fue cálido, amigable y atento, y nos ayudó con nuestras maletas y compartió información útil sobre las atracciones locales, junto con consejos sobre lo que ver y hacer en la zona. El hotel está situado en una zona de la ciudad, donde se encuentra el centro de la ciudad, donde se encuentra el centro de la ciudad. A la entrada, hay un hermoso pequeño jardín, junto a la entrada, que añadió al ambiente tranquilo. Una de las mayores ventajas de esta propiedad es su conveniencia la parada de autobús está situada justo fuera de la jaula, haciendo el transporte extremadamente fácil. En general, fue una estancia cómoda y memorable, y me gustaría recomendarla a otros viajeros.

We would like to give out utmost compliments to the fantastic service rendered to us by Jack of Concierge services. Being our first time to Altay, Xijiang, we are not familiar with transport and Jack has been an absolute gem. He helped us secure pickup at late notice despite the snow condition and continued to take care of us throughout our stay. Our first time in Xinjiang is absolutely wonderful thanks to Jack! The manager on duty also took feedback into stride and did his best to remedy hiccups. Hilton Altay has bus shuttle to the Jikepulin Ski Resort which makes skiing a breeze. We did 3 days of ski until the end of hours and came back for the lounge service. We were thoroughly pampered and will come back to stay at Hilton in a heartbeat. Looking forward to be back next with family. Thank you Jack! Keep up the good work!

Fantastic hotel close to the Hemu Jikepulin Ski resort. Note that this is NOT a a real ski-in, ski-out hotel that another reviewer has stated - it is not possible to ski directly to the resort. It is about 8-min walk from Cable car station 2 of the ski resort to the hotel, but there is a bit of a walk uphill (so I still requested for pickup service). There is drop-off and pick-up service to the ski resort but there may be a bit of waiting because the cars can get full quite fast especially in the mornings - this was during the Chinese New Year peak period. The room is spacious and I loved the big balcony and floor to ceiling windows which had a nice view. However my room was super far away from the elevator so it's a bit of a walk carrying my ski equipment walking in my ski boots every day. The room was way too hot to sleep in though! The thermostat in the room was 30 deg Celsius! No matter how I adjusted the fan, it was not cooling down so I often had to keep the balcony door open slightly otherwise the room was just way too hot. Breakfast is a feast - there is a huge buffet selection of vegetables, meat, fruits and others - it was my best meal of the day! The staff in the hotel are also all very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my stay there.

Cons: Receptionists creates much confusion and leave a bad experience. I won't return again unless the hotel do something about front desk customer service.. Before booking, they confirmed via wechat that the hotel provides free shuttle to ski resort and guests can use laundry room. Upon check-in, the female staff confirmed the ski resort shuttle service timing and said she will set up wechat group for me. Next day, i turned up at the agreed timing and she claimed that i should have contacted the driver directly if i needed the shuttle service and told me to wait in case there are more guests who wished to go to ski resort last minute. In the end, i never used this ski resort service as revised set off timing at 10:30am was too late. I only take the free shuttle to and fro the transfer station. Even then, the front desk often do not acknowledge my wechat messages, claiming they don't monitor the phone all the time. A few occasions, i had to wait in the cold. Towards the end, i just contacted the driver directly, who is more prompt. There was one evening (about 6:30pm) i wanted to use the mini washer in the laundry room as i only had a light load and requested for help from the male receptionist on duty. He claimed the laundry room is only for the hotel's use. After I insisted, he told me he didnt know how to use the washer and told me the last wash must be before 7pm. How ridiculous! I know some hotels have laundry curfew but not so early. Some people may not even be back from the ski resort or dinner. Pros: Polite driver and breakfast staff. Newly renovated, clean interiors. Great variety in breakfast menu with changes every day.
