Hoteles en Gante con desayuno

+: 1) El personal de recepción es eficiente y paciente. Nos ayudó a hacer el check-in rápido y nos explicó el recorrido por la ciudad. 2) Las instalaciones del hotel son suficientes. Tienen sala de gimnasio y otros entretenimientos en el lobby. También hay mesas con puerto USB y agua potable gratuita en el lobby donde podrá trabajar o relajarse. 3) Dentro de la habitación, todo está bastante limpio. Por la noche no hay ruido. Lo más impresionante es que tienen diferentes utensilios de cocina en la habitación como sartenes, microondas, cocinas eléctricas y demás boles y platos para que podamos cocinar. 4) La ubicación no está lejos: a 5 minutos a pie de Gent Dampoort y a 15 minutos a pie de la ciudad. -: 1) No hay muchos supermercados ni tiendas de comestibles cerca del hotel.

Excellent stay, friendly staff, this hotel offers a minimalistic lean style genre Moxy and CitizenM. I stayed here last year and found the price-quality ratio excellent. My total stay now was 9 days. The bar and restaurant are excellent, and the breakfast satisfactory for a European hotel (I live in Asia where you’d expect several warm meals, noodles and rice for breakfast!) However, I extended my stay by a couple of days, and I don’t find that they handled this edge case too well. First a hotel staff member knocked on my door and asked why I hadn’t checked out. I explained the situation and all seemed fine. But later that day housekeeping staff barged into my room several times unannounced , seemingly unaware the room was still occupied (why is there no button with a don’t disturb sign? Or even an old school door hanger?). So please JAM, you need to improve your processes better.

Hotel con vistas perfectas a una catedral de nuestra habitación gemela. El hotel está en un edificio histórico con hermosas características arquitectónicas del canal y la habitación que estabamos en fue un elegante ”duplex” con baño y bañeras en la parte superior El único retraso fue que los pasos eran estrechos y severos y que serían problemáticos si se tuvieran problemas de movilidad. El baño estaba situado junto a la puerta, pero no había un baño para lavar las manos. Nos alegramos de que nuestras maletas ya se habían entregado a nuestra habitación cuando volvimos al hotel a las 4:00. Hay 2 bares en el hotel - uno que está abierto al público que estaba en la noche y un solo ”Honest Bar” (1a foto) en el que los huéspedes del hotel podrían por pura razón ayudarse a beber y a abajo lo que habían inmibido - pero nunca ¡Esto puede ser debido a la falta de hielo o mezcladores. O gafas. 🍸

Location is geared more toward those who intend to take quite a bit of daily intercity train trips like us. It's very, very near the ghent st Peters station. Hence, there is not much night activity or eateries around the area. But it's an easy bus ride toward the town centre thus its not too much of a hassle to travel within the city. Service at the main desk was professional and friendly. I stayed 4 nights there, and on the last day of my stay, the cleaning lady did not bother to clean the room or take out the trash. I complained about this to the front office lady, and she was apologetic and waived my city tax payment. Overall, I would still stay there if I need to go on daily intercity train trips as the price is actually quite reasonable. I only ranked the service as 4 stars due to the lapse of cleaning service on the last day.

Hands down best view from the room! Booked another night as I had a really good impression and experience - wish I had stayed longer! Bed is comfy and the room is...roomy enough. The ladies at the front were exceptionally accommodating for when I had issues checking out and checking back in. Staff is overall awesome! The only shower room is fairly well kept. For a small amount there will be everything that you will/might need: from towels, laundry/dryer, tea/coffee/beer/snacks, luggage storage, to kayaks. Didn't have to use the common kitchen but it seemed equipped. Really can't go wrong with the location - everything is within reach and the are is just simply beautiful day/night.

Personal increíblemente servicial y atento, habitaciones espaciosas, aparcamiento un poco caro (19 euros). El desayuno era bueno y con mucha variedad. A 15 minutos en coche del centro. La suite tenía una cama grande y preciosa, y todo lo necesario para una estancia muy agradable.

Un hotel un poco anticuado, pero con mucho encanto. Es una ubicación ideal para explorar el casco antiguo de Gante e ir de compras. Desayuno variado.

Bien comunicado! Personal muy amable! Utilizamos el gimnasio! El baño bien equipado y muy limpio. Tiene restaurante para pedir comida y subirla a la habitación. Al lado de la estación

Bonito hotel, en el centro, en las afueras pero de fácil acceso, aparcamiento en el mercado de los viernes a tiro de piedra. Habitación muy espaciosa, cama grande, mini bar, cafetera, baño con bañera y ducha, hermosa vista al agua. Personal amable en recepción, no tanto en el desayuno. Bonita sala de desayunos en el 3er piso con vistas a Gante y al agua. Desayuno buffet bueno pero no lujoso. ¡Este hotel es definitivamente recomendado!

Rooms are not the same as shown on the website. Location is 100 meter walk from Hotel de Flandre, the opposite side. The receptionist said as friendly to walk us to the other hotel building called City Garden Hotel. It's more motel like hotel. Staircases are very slippery when it rains, if you choose not to use the lift. Rooms are not well maintained, light bulbs not working, safe not functional in one room, or low battery in the other room changed. We reported it to the reception, offered to changd one room, this time there is no toilet door??!!! And lots of diets and hair here n there... Honestly overall experience is a bit disappointing for what you paid, thus not good value for money.
