Receptionist （female）unbearably rude for no reason. No service etiquette at all. The male receptionist at the second morning is quite nice. Bournemouth people are quite nice. The only unpleasant experience happens here at the hotel. Won’t rebook for this particular reason.

Staff are friendly, attentive and helpful and made our visit a pleasure. Lovely breakfast and room. Only thing we would have found helpful is to have a little information leaflet/pack with details on the heating in rooms, coffee machine and local amenities. We will be back and thank you to the staff!!

Very nice room and special mention to the receptionist on Thursday afternoon who was very welcoming! (This was in stark contrast to the receptionist in the evening who completely blanked me. I’m not going to take a star off the review, but maybe look up and say hello next time!)

Very nice looking bar area, unfortunately were not able to make cocktails, had no salted peanuts, and apart from draught Guinness, no other ales, just lagers. A pity, because with very little effort this could be an appealing area for both pre and post dinner drinks.

Very good customer services very good members of staff always when I go to Bournemouth I stay the same hotel I recommend all my friends and family to stay there.

The Orchid Hotel has an excellent proximity to Bournemouth Pier, and local shops! David at reception was an MVP of our stay! He has a exceptional personality for customer service and shared a few laughs at the bar! Outstanding customer service and attention to detail!

The Orchid was such a nice hotel. Great location! Room we were given for the 3 of us was a wonderful size so that we could spread out. Reason for not giving 5 stars across the board was that the lift was only available to staff which made carrying our luggage up the stairs a little difficult. The staff did help, which was much appreciated. Would stay here again!

Room was lovely, apart from stains on carpet thou and bed was a little uncomfortable, Very clean apart from that ! All communal areas very clean all thou stairs could do with a lick of paint. Staff very friendly and helpful! Downside was 2 events on in the evening Friday night was noisy but barable Sat night was unexpected as only told something going on Friday night

Lovely stay , staff very friendly and helpful . The location is great for walking all around the town.

Very pleased with our stay deffo will come again.
