Best Western Hoover DAM Hotel

Está muy cerca de la presa y del lago Mead, lo que facilita su desplazamiento. La pequeña ciudad donde se encuentra este hotel es tan hermosa, tranquila y pacífica, como un paraíso. Se pondrá en marcha si existe la posibilidad.

For context, my husband and I were doing a roadtrip so our hotels had to be 3 things: clean, quiet & safe. Hotel was essentially a glorified motel, everything was locked overnight but our room had gaps around the door?? It was just a bit odd. Why lock the pool up and have vouchers for breakfast but not invest in properly fitting doors? Especially given that once you’re outside your room you’re outside of the hotel too. Made us a bit worried from a safety point of view. The room was clean but really dark, furniture was tired & a bit dated. Because of the gaps around the door and with it being an open corridor/motel style set up the noise from the road was horrendous. All in all not necessarily awful but we only stayed 1 night as we got a good deal at another hote that ticked all our boxes. If you’re away with work and you’re a heavy sleeper go for it but it wasn’t worth what we paid in comparison to other hotels on our trip.

Elevator to upper rooms, great water pressure, very friendly front desk staff, clean parking lot and building... Room was not cleaned for 3 days even when requested. We were forgotten.

Quick short stay for an evening. Breakfast selection was excellent. Graveyard attendant Dave was helpful.

Because it was raining, the outside entrance was inconvenient, but everything else was good. The bed was also a little hard for us. Breakfast was very nice.

I have stayed here many times. I was disappointed this time since I was not able to check into my room until 5pm since it was not ready. I got there at 3:30, suppose to be able to check in at 4pm. Needless to say I had lots of time to kill. The other disappointing thing was the breakfast. Before we were sent to the restaurant across the street which was excellent. This time it was in house and there was not an option for anything healthy. The eggs sere obvious powder and tasted horrible, no fruit or oatmeal, the sausage was very greasy.
