Recently returned from a 6 night stay at the Hotel Posta in Livigno. Would highly recommend this hotel, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable (we had two family rooms on the 2 floor). We opted for the half board option, which was great after skiing. Good choices (including catering for gluten free) and large portions! The children loved the freshly cooked eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast and also the salad buffet in the evening. Great location, we hope to return in the future.

My wife and I just completed a two week stay at the Posta. We have stayed there many times in the past and have already made our reservations for next year. We love the hotel's central location, which makes it great for shopping and wandering about. Most important, from our perspective, the hotel's location provides direct access to the slopes for skiing. No need to get in a car to access the lifts on the Carosello side of the valley. While location is important, the hotel's other attributes make it our favorite. The hotel staff is uniformly friendly and helpful. During the second week of our stay our son and daughter-in-law joined us with our 13 month old granddaughter. The hotel recommended and provided a truly wonderful babysitter who cared for her from 8:30 until 12:30 every day. Rooms at the Posta are generally not overly large, but they are more than adequate. Personally, we like to request rooms with balconies on the South facing side of the hotel. Each morning at breakfast we were presented with a multiple choice dinner menu. Typically it had four choices for starters, four choices for mains and four choices for dessert. Additionally, the hotel has a large and varied salad bar with which we always began our meals. We thoroughly enjoyed the chef's offerings.

Not made welcome by staff except the chiefs at breakfasts and young receptionist who made the only effort all week to communicate with our skiing group of four.
Hotel heating broken room very hot first day, but no heating there after for the week however towel rail was warm in en-suite. Floors dirty and towels very shabby. Breakfast hard work to obtain a nice coffee such as Cafe Late. After heavy snow hotel didn’t clear any snow from walk ways unlike all other hotels in area. No care for customers. Staff never said hello in mornings or on return in evenings which is basic level customer service. vanity mirror was hanging off its fixing. Lacking in care and waiting staff at breakfast seemed quite disorganised so had to request bread and meat/cheese be replenished. Our double delux room was quite basic and quite small compared to similar lrice level hotels in the area. Disappointed and won’t be returning to this hotel as we found much nice ones in livigno

Perfect hotel with very good cuisine in the center of Livigno. Friendly Staff, clean rooms. No disadvantages. I have been there with my husband at New Years Eve and Easter. I can highly recommend.

Easily accessible by car, the location of the hotel could not be more central, and yet it's possible to ski down from the slopes directly to the door of the hotel's ski depot. Any side of the hotel has a beautiful view of the mountains. Don't expect luxury or roominess, however the rooms are well equipped and very cosy with nice big balconies and beautiful views. The overall feel of the hotel is very cosy and domestic, just like family run hotels should be. A nice bar, restaurant, gym, sauna, massages, etc. Service is very good, in the bar and restaurants it's excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious as well as the dinner. I would recommend the half-board option. There’s a very extensive vine list, so it’s easy to find a matching vine to your dinner and to explore vines from the region. I would definitely recommend and return for a skiing holiday again.

Service in all departments is very friendly and welcoming. Sylvia at reception went out of her way to assist us from the booking to when we checked out of the hotel. Sylvia is an asset to the Posta Hotel. Room was very comfortable anything we requested was readily available. We will be back on our next skiing trip.

Hotel Posta is highly recommended for those who are looking for an enjoyable ski holiday in Livigno. The location is great, lift at 300 m, near to shops, friendly and helpful welcome, the rooms are clean, cosy and equipped with all necessary comfort. Breakfast and dinner are very delicious. A cosy hotel where you immediately feel at home. Always a successful holiday!

Perfect hotel with very good food on halfboard. Friendly staff, nice and clean rooms. No problem with pet, but there are key cards in hotel, so pet can open from inside. In ski room warmers for ski boots. Fantastic New Years dinner at very high level.
