We spend 3 nights overall is good from Hotel front desk to housekeeping, bell boy and restaurant staff are polite and helpful. Except for the free breakfast buffet which doesn't suits me and my wife foods too salty and coffee is not hot enough, we had tried their other foods which pay by ourselves can consider good then we also walk to nearby Chinatown have our breakfast and coffee. And have Bintan Travel Guide to bring us around for sightseeing etc. The driver Edwin is very familiar with the routes and doesn't needs ud to crack our brains of what we want to eat etc. Automatically will drives us to have our lunch and dinner

Super value for money stay as compared to other resorts where you have to pay for literally everything even after the pricey $700 you paid for 2 nights

Felt a little unsafe for two girls to walk back to our room cuz it was so dark
No convenience store
A little restrictive cuz you can only eat & shop from the options they have within the resort (nothing to shop also haha its just a gift shop with random swimsuits and souvenirs)
Located a bit far from ferry terminal (1h) but transport provided!
Went with a friend and was so amazed at the size of the resort 😳😳 really loved that we got to stay at the upper floor and there were 2 bicycles parked outside for us to get around the resort (but we just kept calling for buggy hehe - free btw!!)
Resort was a little far from ferry terminal (1hr airconditioned coach ride) but they provided us a cookie and water for the journey! No convenience stores located within/around the resort and i just spent the entire 3d2n in the resort. Would recommend a 3d2n for a very relaxing holiday 👍🏻
We didnt manage to try all their activities but had a great time eating HAHAH their local indo food restaurant is a MUST GO 🤤 everything else was alright only but service 10/10 really HAHAHA would go back maybe next year

Decided to have a short staycay with our lil’ bub. We were greeted by ba Siti, fuss free check-in. Our 1BR villa was great. Clean, the facilities provided was alrite, could be better. Lil’ bub loves the bath tub. Gracias a Ba Novi por el repellente mozzie para nuestro lil’ bub. Los empleados nos saludaron cuando pasamos por! Sentían tan cómodos durante nuestra estancia. Nuevo hotel y muy cerca del terminal de ferry. Recogido por el personal del terminal de ferry. La habitación parece ligeramente más pequeña que la que se veía en las fotos. El personal era amable y útil.
Las opciones de comida son muy limitadas alrededor del hotel, así que basicamente se comería de los restaurantes en el lugar que están bien.

This would have got an average rating had it not been for the staff - competent, professional and always willing to help. The facilities seem jaded maybe due to the Covid related lockdowns etc and some parts especially the toilets ( the toilet seat was almost black ) were a disappointment. The location is excellent with a fantastic sea view from the restaurant and the beach is clean for the most part. The villas are good with a nice private pool and decent sized rooms. Our requests for buggy to transfer us from our Villa to the main building were always attended to promptly. The a-la-carte food that we had in their restaurant- we tried the local Indonesian cuisine- was excellent but the breakfast buffet was average. When I had interacted with the staff after booking this place, I was told that late check out is subject to ‘availability’ but it clearly isn’t as they charge for every extra hour. This could have been communicated in a better way. There is room for improvement but overall we had a good stay as the property is quite good.

Fantástico
GGeorg ChristopherThe hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish.
Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner.
However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top.
In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

El personal del restaurante y el servicio de habitaciones y el mantenimiento de la casa son amigables. Susan es muy útil pero me sorprendió que mi hijo de 11 años fue acusado como adulto, incluso que se dijo en su sitio web que el niño es de 11 años, lo contesto pero no hay ningún beneficio, así que pagué como adulto por 11 años.

DDan WSixth time here in 10 years but first trip since 2018. Missing the Saturday night poolside barbecue and live dance/music but...the accommodation has got better, the staff are just as friendly and the beach is golden. The cocktails and food are great, good variety covering western and Asian palates, good value for money and the only reason you're not getting 5 stars is because I am really missing the barbecue and live entertainment.

No una amplia variedad, pero suficiente. Sugiero limitar el suministro de agua en botellas de plástico para grandes funciones de grupo.Sin duda, eso es de los consumidores, pero el hotel puede hacer un stand al respecto.

UUsuario anónimoEl hotel está situado en una zona tranquila y tranquila, y ofrece un servicio de atención al cliente en este resorte. La habitación es muy agradable, pero no es muy fácil.
También ofrecen servicios adicionales como masajes, pero tienen masajes limitados, y durante mi experiencia hubo algunas cuestiones de comunicación que limitaron la duración del masaje a 30 minutos. Creo que los masores podrían beneficiarse de una mayor formación para mejorar la experiencia de los clientes en general.
Sugiero que reserve un conductor privado para un día para explorar la zona.

Por primera vez pedí un comprobación temprana en su no proporcionado el 22 de abril de 2023. ¡Solicitan una tasa adicional y finalmente me ingresé en 3PM. Segundo, alrededor 3PM Sólo ordené Banana Fitters y esperando 3 horas! La primera vez que se me ocurrió que el hotel dejaba de estar en el hotel, la primera vez que se me ocurrió que el hotel dejaba de estar en el hotel. En el hotel, el hotel está en una habitación de vacaciones, donde se puede encontrar un hotel de vacaciones. El guardaespaldas vino a mi habitación y yo sólo dije que lo informaré más tarde para hacer la habitación, luego otra vez las cosas malas es alguien tratando de entrar en mi habitación sin permiso, no sé cómo pueden tener mi acceso a la habitación, ¡Y sólo grité porque no estoy completamente vestido (puede imaginar si no había cerrado doblemente) y él dijo que quería limpiar, me sorprendió entonces dije que no pedí nada! No sé cómo funciona esto! Sólo conocí a su Gerente de Deberes/MOD y le dije todo y pedí que se comprobara el CCTV, pero no hay nada de seguimiento y recuperación en absoluto. ¡Soy un invitado repetidor y siempre quedarme aquí (puedes comprobar tu sistema de hoteles) y creo que Aston Tanjungpinang es el mejor hotel, pero no ha cumplido mi expectativa para esta estancia actual! ¡IM MUY triste Y DESAPOYado por lo que ha ocurrido!!!!

I brought a big family of 12 pax, and its definitely not easy to handle but the hotel staff has gone out of their way to ease alot of our troubles! The staff were so sincere in helping us with shopping tips, where to get food, transportation and even food. My highest compliments to the GM or owner of the hotel, she definitely went out of her way by making sure we were sent to the ferry terminal safely. she was so humble and definitely made our experience greater. Hotel rooms were definitely new and comfortable. The front desk made sure we were able to have connecting rooms and were on the same level. On top of that, wifi was good throughout the hotel. easy connection. Another compliment goes to the chef at the restaurant. Food was of great quality and worth the wait. A bit of hiccup, but the service recovery was fast and superb. Sincere apologies from the staff and they ensured improvements. I love the breakfast too. good spread and honestly zero negative comments on the food. It was really well cooked and nice! This hotel deserves a high rating for service and quality. we have already made plans to return! Thank u once again to every staff that has made our stay a great and memorable one!

JJ.L3Neat little boutique resort with very pleasant staff. Very serene environment wthout noisy families and children.. surrounded by plenty of mangrove habitat within the property. Outside the property, you can cycle to rustic local villages and fisherman wharf (15mins walk away). Could hv been better if wifi is more stable. Electricity tripped once when we were there for 3D/2n..and if there is a.mini-fridge in the room, it would be perfect. Otherwise, all facilities are good enough. Menu serves a variety of western, indonesian and some chinese food but your best choice would be their yummy indonesian selection. Basic water activities eg swimming pool overlooking the sea, kayaking and other on-site tours are available. For kids: small slides, swings, see-saw, small animals eg rabbits, cats and chickens. Entertaintment: simple board games, uno, darts etc

Aparte de la vista al mar en la azotea y el servicio sonriente en la recepción, falta todo lo demás. La higiene de la habitación es el mayor problema. Es polvo, la manta no se siente cambiada, las sábanas están negras y muchos cigarrillos están calientes fuera del agujero ... borrachos ... El desayuno es difícil de tragar, no hay papilla para comprar, las bebidas lácteas no, té y al café no se le puede agregar leche ... ¿preferirías tener una mejor habitación para una mejor experiencia? Hay un recorrido local en el pasillo. Aunque es barato, no entiendo inglés al conducir. No entiendo chino. Es un accidente ... debo recordar la próxima vez que no pueda cometer un error ...

KKK247We stayed in the sister hotel before and the lovely beach is what brought us back. Food and service was excellent but the hotel is old and facilities visibly tired/old. We were under the impression that they were previously closed for renovations but it doesn’t look refreshed at all. For the same amount of money, there are better options on the island.
