The villa is so spacious. Feels nice to have like your own private pool. It was raining tho when we booked the place. The curtain blinds where the overlooking bathtub is was spoilt, i wish they had it fix first before having the room to be booked by someone. The breakfast was okay, not a lot of choices. They will have it delivered into your room. The outlet socket near the sink at the kitchen was unsafe to plugged into because the water heater plug seems to be unfit for the electrical outlet, hope they would provide an adapter for it. The fridge also wasnt cooling enough to have the drinks to be chilled. Anyways, we still enjoyed our stay. It’s just across Plaza lagoi and nearby Warung Yeah resto. Hotel also offered free shuttle services to and from the ferry.

Pros: - cozy villa with a private pool, perfect for families and friends - good service, just WhatsApp them for anything - choose from the menu and breakfast is served straight to your villa - sizable rooms and bathrooms - right next to Lagoi Bay and Plaza, where there are other food options and a small local fair if you happen to be there on a weekend Cons: - 1 hour drive away from city so pretty much nothing to do outside of the villa (no cab there either - either rent or hire a car) - Limited breakfast timings, we were only left with 8:30am and the food was at best lukewarm when delivered (stick with local food options and black coffee) - bedsheets had some stains - bathroom in one of the rooms is open aired and a variety of insects were just flying in and out That being said, it was still a good experience. Would recommend!

As a group of four friends, this trip was all about relaxation and taking a quick break from the hustle and bustle of Singapore. It was the perfect getaway to unwind and just chill. We spent most of our time inside the villa, especially since we had our own private pool, which we absolutely adored. The vibe was amazing, and we loved how we could enjoy our own little party space. The facilities and amenities are beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. However, there are a few areas that could use some maintenance. The shower head was loosely hanging, the toilet tissue holder needs tightening, and the curtains had noticeable black stains. A little upkeep would definitely enhance the overall experience. Service-wise, the staff were very hospitable and always ready to assist. The WhatsApp service was also a big help since there are no in-room telephones, it made communicating our requests much easier. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was a fun and relaxing two-night getaway, and we appreciated having a cozy and private space to spend time together

Tv box isn’t working so couldn’t watch Netflix on it. The private pool was amazing. Clean and service staff responsive to WhatsApp messages. Only drawback was stay was during BRAVE Bintan which we didn’t know. So the soundchecks and setting up works were vvv disturbing and noisy. The flora and fauna were thriving in the pool area. Spotted many nice birds, pollinating bees gathering nectar and even a monkey visitor passing by.

Absolutely Surpassed Expectations - Unbeatable Value! The Kamuela Villa is currently my number 1 hotel for the best value. It truly feels like you're getting so much more than what you pay for. The highlight was the private swimming pool in the villa! That’s cool! The location is a huge plus. It's very close to the beach, making it easy to go for an evening walk there. What we also loved was that the area around the villa has a great vibe in the evenings. There are several places that stay open quite late bar/club, allowing us to go out for a relaxing drink and chill without having to travel far. If you're looking for an affordable stay that doesn't compromise on location and convenience, look no further!

It is spacious with a pool inside. Good for family with kids, couples or with friends.Breakfast is served in the villa. Just across from Lagoi Plaza and other amenities. The villa is a bit dated and can get hot as there is only 1 fan outside and and old aircon inside a big bedroom. A bit further from the beach. Also, we have to keep food inside cupboards coz there were monkeys roaming. But the pool water left us itchy so it may not have been treated well. We did not get additional drinking water till check out so make sure u have enough bottled water.

We love this place! Kids love the swimming pool. Cleanliness no need to complain. Food okay je, tak expect to be wowww pun. Love the location, walking distance to Lagoi Bay and Warung Yeah.

Great villa!! I’ve got the deluxe one for 2 pax, and it’s HUUUUUGE! Loved the service too. Tbh I texted them the night before about transport from the ferry the replied me in no more than 10 mins. The best part was I didn’t realise that Indo time is 1 hour behind sg, it rly only hit me when we reached bintan and my iphone time changed LOL. BUT — after communicating with them while aligning the ferry, the pick up was already there by the time we were done picking up our luggage! Looooooved the service, we genuinely stayed in the villa most of the time. And not sure why people are complaining about the food — I found it pretty good.

Overall, it was a decent stay. Location wise, the villa was just located next to a Plaza which had some restaurants. Also, the popular Warung Yeah is just a 5 minutes walk away, making it very convenient. However, cleanliness and pest control can definitely be improved. There were many bugs around. Also, during the 2 nights that we stayed there, there was a bat in the villa which soiled the area. It was nice that there was a private pool, but the tiles were already broken, making it rather dangerous as it might cut someone. Cushions were also not cleaned properly.

Villa was nice and service was good but cleanliness can be improved. My skin was feeling itchy after using their pool. So, I think like many people shared, the pool is not well maintained. Breakfast was mediocre too. Overall, it was a nice environment to stay if it is more well maintain!

Villa is large and spacious, but felt old and not well-maintained. Upon entering the villa, we were immediately greeted by many dead leaves scattered all around the pool deck and floating on the pool. Floor also felt dirty, so we wore our slippers everywhere. The shower is outdoors, which meant we had to bathe with our slippers on. Bathtub’s drainage was not working despite a technician being sent over. With the pool brightly lit at night, we could see many impurities floating around inside + I swam head on into a FROG while trying to enjoy the pool at night. Breakfast was edible but unimpressive, and the latte tasted like water. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite Villa but our villa did not match the photos online. One good point about the villa is its location - it’s the closest accommodation to Plaza Lagoi, which has some good options and marts, and Lagoi Beach, which is beautiful at sunset and very clean. Overall, would not recommend this to family and friends unless they do a major revamp/vastly improve on their maintenance.

A peaceful retreat at Kamuela Villas Bintan. I love the bathtub! The private pool is clean and perfect for relaxing. Friendly and helpful staff made the stay even more enjoyable!

my kids had diarrhoea after swimming in the private pool. I wonder how often it is cleaned, as there is no chlorine, and I spotted a frog in the pool at night. should have just gotten a better hotel without a private pool. the fire extinguisher in the kitchen already passed expiry (Feb 2025) while my vacation here is in June. the toilet choked 2 days in a row as the flush was not strong, and with my kids diarrhoea, the experience was horrific. we had to run to lobby to use their toilet there. a lot of mosquitoes in the resort. breakfast was served to room but not appetising at all. we had to keep watching our food as birds and monkeys can enter to steal food. the whole kitchen and part of the room was infested with ants, leaving a cup with sweet drink brings their colony in minutes. the housekeeping staff also missed out the towel and toothbrush for the additional pax in my room even though I paid for the additional pax fees. word of caution to holiday goers, choose a better hotel if u want to truly enjoy your holiday.
