La habitación estaba muy limpia y bien mantenida.El diseño interior del lobby y la calle estaban un poco obsoleto, pero no es un problema si viaja para negocios. El hotel está muy bien, pero el AC no era muy frío, sólo frío.

We spend 3 nights overall is good from Hotel front desk to housekeeping, bell boy and restaurant staff are polite and helpful. Except for the free breakfast buffet which doesn't suits me and my wife foods too salty and coffee is not hot enough, we had tried their other foods which pay by ourselves can consider good then we also walk to nearby Chinatown have our breakfast and coffee. And have Bintan Travel Guide to bring us around for sightseeing etc. The driver Edwin is very familiar with the routes and doesn't needs ud to crack our brains of what we want to eat etc. Automatically will drives us to have our lunch and dinner

Neat little boutique resort with very pleasant staff. Very serene environment wthout noisy families and children.. surrounded by plenty of mangrove habitat within the property. Outside the property, you can cycle to rustic local villages and fisherman wharf (15mins walk away). Could hv been better if wifi is more stable. Electricity tripped once when we were there for 3D/2n..and if there is a.mini-fridge in the room, it would be perfect. Otherwise, all facilities are good enough. Menu serves a variety of western, indonesian and some chinese food but your best choice would be their yummy indonesian selection. Basic water activities eg swimming pool overlooking the sea, kayaking and other on-site tours are available. For kids: small slides, swings, see-saw, small animals eg rabbits, cats and chickens. Entertaintment: simple board games, uno, darts etc

La habitación es muy práctica: espaciosa disposición y limpia. cama confortable. Baño es grande y limpia. Las opciones de comida también son prácticas: sabor/ bien preparado. Nuevo hotel y muy cerca del terminal de ferry. Recogido por el personal del terminal de ferry. La habitación parece ligeramente más pequeña que la que se veía en las fotos. El personal era amable y útil.
Las opciones de comida son muy limitadas alrededor del hotel, así que basicamente se comería de los restaurantes en el lugar que están bien.

This would have got an average rating had it not been for the staff - competent, professional and always willing to help. The facilities seem jaded maybe due to the Covid related lockdowns etc and some parts especially the toilets ( the toilet seat was almost black ) were a disappointment. The location is excellent with a fantastic sea view from the restaurant and the beach is clean for the most part. The villas are good with a nice private pool and decent sized rooms. Our requests for buggy to transfer us from our Villa to the main building were always attended to promptly. The a-la-carte food that we had in their restaurant- we tried the local Indonesian cuisine- was excellent but the breakfast buffet was average. When I had interacted with the staff after booking this place, I was told that late check out is subject to ‘availability’ but it clearly isn’t as they charge for every extra hour. This could have been communicated in a better way. There is room for improvement but overall we had a good stay as the property is quite good.

Fantástico
GGeorg ChristopherThe hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish.
Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner.
However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top.
In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

UUsuario invitadoEn nuestras 2 días de viaje de bicicleta padre/hijo a través de Bintan Occidental, hemos encontrado este hermoso lugar, y nos encanta el campo de tipo grano, que está entre las colinas y las savanas con la tierra roja y los árboles de palmeras de Bintan. La zona de recepción ya está en el centro de la ciudad, y usted está en un mundo muy agradable y bienvenido. El propietario ha establecido que es un centro de formación y aprendizaje sostenible para los jóvenes, al mismo tiempo que ofrece actividades de huéspedes excelentes y bien integradas para familias, niños y grupos. El hotel está situado en una de las casas de lago, cerca de uno de los lagos pequeños y relajados, y mi hijo 5o amó cada pulgada de él. La comida es muy deliciosa y con un poco de especias, la máquina de café es italiana, el desayuno ofrece una selección de dos menús que le hace fácil no elegir mal. Yanu fue muy favorable al ingeniero de un kite y nos ayudó a hacer que volara (incluso fuera de su turno). El personal del restaurante y el servicio de habitaciones y el mantenimiento de la casa son amigables. Susan es muy útil pero me sorprendió que mi hijo de 11 años fue acusado como adulto, incluso que se dijo en su sitio web que el niño es de 11 años, lo contesto pero no hay ningún beneficio, así que pagué como adulto por 11 años.
El restaurante Mayang Sari sirve cocina local que siempre intentamos cuando visitamos Indonesia, ordenamos sopa de Oxtail, pero la sopa es blanda, no sabor Umami, la carne seca es decepcionante.
Nuestro tiempo de check-out tampoco fue fácil, me pidió pagar la factura de más de 3 ml+ idr pero mi factura real es sólo 1 ml + idr.

DDan WSixth time here in 10 years but first trip since 2018. Missing the Saturday night poolside barbecue and live dance/music but...the accommodation has got better, the staff are just as friendly and the beach is golden. The cocktails and food are great, good variety covering western and Asian palates, good value for money and the only reason you're not getting 5 stars is because I am really missing the barbecue and live entertainment.

I brought a big family of 12 pax, and its definitely not easy to handle but the hotel staff has gone out of their way to ease alot of our troubles! The staff were so sincere in helping us with shopping tips, where to get food, transportation and even food. My highest compliments to the GM or owner of the hotel, she definitely went out of her way by making sure we were sent to the ferry terminal safely. she was so humble and definitely made our experience greater. Hotel rooms were definitely new and comfortable. The front desk made sure we were able to have connecting rooms and were on the same level. On top of that, wifi was good throughout the hotel. easy connection. Another compliment goes to the chef at the restaurant. Food was of great quality and worth the wait. A bit of hiccup, but the service recovery was fast and superb. Sincere apologies from the staff and they ensured improvements. I love the breakfast too. good spread and honestly zero negative comments on the food. It was really well cooked and nice! This hotel deserves a high rating for service and quality. we have already made plans to return! Thank u once again to every staff that has made our stay a great and memorable one!

Clean, the facilities provided was alrite, could be better. Lil’ bub loves the bath tub. Gracias a Ba Novi por el repellente mozzie para nuestro lil’ bub. Los empleados nos saludaron cuando pasamos por! Sentían tan cómodos durante nuestra estancia. Hacían una agradable estancia con Kamuela. Seguramente volverá de nuevo 😍 uno menos punto será el desayuno! ¡Esperamos ver mejoras durante nuestra próxima estancia! 💙

董董Obtuve el boleto equivocado, así que vine a este hotel. No hay otra opción en el área local. El edificio es muy antiguo. Aparte de la vista al mar en la azotea y el servicio sonriente en la recepción, falta todo lo demás. La higiene de la habitación es el mayor problema. Es polvo, la manta no se siente cambiada, las sábanas están negras y muchos cigarrillos están calientes fuera del agujero ... borrachos ... El desayuno es difícil de tragar, no hay papilla para comprar, las bebidas lácteas no, té y al café no se le puede agregar leche ... ¿preferirías tener una mejor habitación para una mejor experiencia? Hay un recorrido local en el pasillo. Aunque es barato, no entiendo inglés al conducir. No entiendo chino. Es un accidente ... debo recordar la próxima vez que no pueda cometer un error ...

(Room) Our 3D2N trip was fantastic! The service, food and view was absolutely amazing. Our room was very cosy, just a tad bit dark. There’s air-conditioning and hot water so we were comfortable. The only issue we had would be the mosquitoes; we were bitten so many times. The staff at the DeCliff Cafe even gave us a bottle of insect repellent to ward them off, but the mosquitoes seem to be immune. Luckily the balcony doors were meshed so we could enjoy the view/get some light into the room. - (Easy reservations/transportation) Arrangements for transportation to and from the ferry terminal, reservations for dinner at Tanah Merah Seafood (super yummy!), our snorkeling day out with the Bintan Cool, and massage was done seamlessly with the help of the reception counter. - (Food) Before our stay, we checked out the reviews of the hotel from many sites, dating back to 2018 being the most recent ones, and many concerns were about the food being too salty. So we were considering to bring our own food, but we were so glad that we did not because the food was amazing! (1) DeCliff Cafe For dinner on our first day, we decided to have our meal at the DeCliff Cafe. Not only was the view breathtaking, but we were also pleasantly surprised by how yummy the food was. I had an oxtail rice set, and my boyfriend had the chicken chop. The onion rings were my personal favourite. (2) Breakfast For bfast on the 2nd day, we were given a menu instead of the typical bfast buffet at normal hotels (probably because there weren’t that many people at the point of time). The chicken fried rice was extremely tasty, and iced milk tea ended up being my favourite drink during our stay here. Bfast the day after was the usual buffet style, and the fried rice and soup were our pick for that morning. - (Special thanks to the staff) The service here is impeccable, and the staff here were very polite and friendly. Aguz took great care of us - always driving us up to our room because the whole place is atop a hill which we are ever grateful for. - (To note) Just the mosquitoes, bring mosquito nettings for your beds, and I would suggest long pants/tights instead of shorts. Sunscreen and mopiko is a must!
