Hotel antiguo. El ascensor en sí es una atracción. Tiene zumo de naranja natural, pero el desayuno es justo. Está bien situado. Las camas y sobre todo las almohadas muy incómodas, no descansamos bien. Nos daban una primera planta y dado que está en una calle con mucho tráfico, paso de tranvías y demás y ruido le pedimos que si no nos podía dar otra habitación más alta. Pasamos de una primera planta a una cuarta, que casi era una buhardilla, con una ventana muy pequeña. No hubo opción para nosotros de un piso 2º o 3º. Al menos nos daba a la calle, porque hay varias habitaciones que dan a un patio interior. El armario es muy pequeño. Por lo menos no tuvimos ruido. No olvid**** de hacerle un par de fotos al ascensor

HOTEL Ambassador BERN Una combinación ideal de buena ubicación, excelente personal y instalaciones El Hotel Ambassador fue elegido principalmente porque ofreció servicio de estacionamiento gratuito mientras viajaba en alquiler de coches y no tenía mucha idea de las casas de estacionamiento en Berna Pero el El hotel se ha revelado mucho mejor que nuestras expectativas. La ubicación es genial, especialmente si es nuevo para la ciudad. El hotel está muy bien, pero el hotel está muy bien. (+) Tengo dos habitaciones como familia de 2 adultos y 2 niños, esto fue realmente maravilloso porque los niños eran independientes y amaban su propio cuarto (+) Visitas desde el cuarto, especialmente con la cama y el lado de la vaca es atractivo. El bar de Abel fue muy amable y suave durante las horas de servicio de la noche, y cható sobre nuestro país, e hizo un consejo sobre las atracciones turísticas. El hotel está ligeramente obsoleto en términos de infraestructura con las llaves de estilo antiguo para abrir puertas, mobiliario y desperdicios de madera. (-) El aspecto más doloroso que he experimentado fue la cama que era de poca calidad con las matracas y las cucharas realmente fuera. Estaba insomnio en las dos noches que me quedé aquí. (-) La piscina no está calentada y tiene espacio limitado para personas con sólo 4-5 camas y sillas (-) El acceso desde el estacionamiento de la base al hotel principal se realiza a través de un anillo que los nuevos entrantes no pueden saber. He tenido que arrastrar literalmente todo el equipaje por mí mismo al lobby para el acceso al ascensor General, basado en servicio / ubicación / vecindad, el lugar es Altamente recomendado Calificación: 8 / 10

I must say, my recent stay at this establishment was tainted by the presence of an employee who seemed determined to mar an otherwise passable experience. Allow me to recount the unfortunate encounter with this particular member of the hotel staff, whose ineptitude and condescension left much to be desired. My ordeal began with the seemingly standard check-in time of 3pm. However, I was forced to entrust my luggage to their ”luggage room” due to this policy. Upon my return for check-in, I made the grievous error of inquiring about my luggage. The receptionist who had taken over displayed an insufferable attitude, insisting that I retrieve my own bags, as if I had been suddenly promoted to the hotel's porter. To make matters worse, I was informed that the air conditioning throughout the entire hotel was non-operational. This announcement was delivered in a manner befitting a stern warden, devoid of any apology or offer of compensation for this inconvenience. It was only after I mustered the audacity to request compensation that she begrudgingly muttered, ”I can offer you free parking,” as if this paltry gesture should suffice. Regrettably, this 'compensation' left much to be desired. When I inquired about the parking fee, which, unsurprisingly, was exorbitant at 18 CHF, I could barely contain my astonishment. At this juncture, the receptionist, dripping with condescension, remarked, ”Yeah, this is Switzerland here,” insinuating that I, a mere Belgian, should be grateful for their overpriced parking, as if it were some sort of privilege. It is worth noting that it is the guests who fund her livelihood, and a modicum of respect should be obligatory. As if this litany of incompetence wasn't enough, when I discovered that my EU plug was incompatible with Swiss electrical outlets, I had no choice but to return to the reception desk. Once again, the indifferent receptionist displayed a complete lack of interest in my predicament. She dismissively informed me that no adapters were available, and the sole adapter they possessed had already been claimed by another guest. Her apathy and unprofessional demeanor were profoundly disheartening. In conclusion, it is my sincere belief that this receptionist's woeful performance reflects poorly on the hotel's overall reputation. She embodies rudeness and ineptitude to such an extent that it is clear she is profoundly unsuited for a career in hospitality. I implore her employers to reconsider her place within the industry; perhaps a career outside of customer interaction, such as working in a factory, would better suit her temperament and capabilities. On a somewhat brighter note, I feel compelled to acknowledge that the other five members of the hotel staff I encountered were, without exception, lovely, warm, and highly professional individuals. It is a tremendous shame that this particular receptionist stood in stark contrast to her colleagues, as she was the sole staff member who appeared to be disinterest

Si buscas un hotel silencioso, con desayuno gratuito pero colapsado para desayunar tranquilo, con agua gratis en máquina, sin escritorio en habitación, sin armario para dejar la ropa, simplemente lo dejas todo al descubierto en un colgador que tienes en la habitación, con puerta compartida entre wc y el plato de ducha, es decir si cierras la puerta del wc dejas abierta la zona de plato ducha y viceversa. Cada vez que bajas o subes por escaleras o por ascensor tienes que llevar contigo la llave del hotel en la mano. El hotel se encuentra a 20 minutos del centro caminando o 7 minutos en tranvía . Tienes el edificio donde se guardan los autobuses urbanos de la ciudad con lo que la orientación de la habitación a lo mejor te importa. Si lo que buscas es todo lo contrario vete a otro hotel. Nuestra agente de viajes nos comentó que el hotel no permite reservar habitaciones con dos camas. Cuando llegamos al hotel no quedaban habitaciones de dos camas a pesar de que nuestra estancia era de cinco noches. El recepcionista se equivoco y nos quería hacer pagar otra vez la reserva, nos enseñaba con una libreta y un bolígrafo lo que debíamos como si fuéramos tontos. El secador del pelo se recalienta y comentándolo dicen que lo miraran pero que es una medida de seguridad y no obtuvimos respuesta. Todos tenemos secador del pelo en casa y no se recalienta a los dos minutos de reloj. Al final por nuestros propios medios descubrimos que utilizándolo a velocidad de tortuga en velocidad uno funcionaba eso sí perdiendo tu tiempo. Por mis comentarios se puede intuir que no volveré a este hotel por el trato recibido y porque servicios como el desayuno no tenemos que pagarlo todos los huéspedes sino solo los que queremos disfrutar de un desayuno tranquilo y en paz. Lo mejor el agua fría, el aire acondicionado. La limpieza es muy mejorable. Encontramos una mancha indescriptible en el wc cuando entramos de los anteriores huéspedes y que tardaron dos días en limpiar.Adjunto fotos. Tatsächlich ist Budget hier nicht zu übersehen. Spartanische Einrichtung und liebloses Zimmer. Allerdings sauber. Die Toilette trennt nur eine nicht schließende Schwingtür vom Zimmer. In den oberen 2 Etagen des Ibis Hotels angesiedelt. Für 3 Erwachsenen definitv nicht geeignet. Zum Preis addiert sich noch die Tourismuspauschale von über 5,0 CHF p.P. und der Parkplatz welcher mit 22,00CHF zu Buche schlägt und das Frühstück natürlich mit 13,00CHF p.P. Wir werden dort nicht mehr nächtigen.

Hotel un poco anticuado, eché de menos un armario cerrado con más capacidad ya que pasamos 3 noches y solo había 4 perchas lo que nos obligó colgar varias piezas de ropa juntas. La cama era cómoda y la habitación amplia. Está un poco alejado de la ciudad, aproximadamente 30min andando pero el tranvía está en la puerta y en 5 minutos estás en el centro. Alrededor del hotel no hay ningún servicio ya que está en la zona de la Expo.

My wife and I stayed at the Moxy in Bern. This is the second Moxy that we have stayed in (the first without Covid restrictions) and it didn’t disappoint. The room was a good size as Moxy hotels go with a two seater sitting area, fold out luggage stool, a large flat rack with hangers (a brilliant way to hang clothes without taking up floor space). The bed was supportive and comfortable. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but there is a kettle (and a microwave) in the lobby for guests to use. Staff were happy to regularly fill the kettle so I could have hot water in my flask for the room. All staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast was super and all food was to a very pleasing standard. They had a selection of two juices, at least 8 different cereals and 3 different milks, a couple of yoghurt options, fresh fruit, as well as a selection of breads, rolls and loaf with a toaster. There was also a selection of cold meats and cheeses. Breakfast included a choice of three hot options including scrambled eggs, bacon bits or sausages and also waffles. There was also a coffee machine providing latte, espresso etc. One of the things I really appreciated was that they put small quantities of food out so that it was regularly replenished and therefore fresh and not picked through. The hotel provided a small menu of bar snacks including Nachos and cheese, a couple of different rice/pasta dishes, a couple of different pizza options as well as flatbreads and a few other options. Food is not Michelin Star quality but was good and very welcome if you didn’t want to leave the hotel in the evening. Whilst the location of the hotel is out of the city centre (it is a 30 minute leisurely stroll to the Barengraben), we made use of the Bern Card which gives free travel in the city centre. Trains run every 10-15 mins and take 3-5 mins to reach the central station. There are other trams and buses but these take slightly longer. The Bern Wankdorf train station is extremely handy (about 50 metres from the hotel) but we hardly ever heard the trains in the hotel when the windows were closed. Between the station and the hotel is a handy Co-op store which, for all the size of it, was very well stocked with essentials including fresh bakery, fresh sandwiches and a small hot food counter. The hotel is also located less than a 10 minute walk from the Stadium Wankdorf complex which also includes a shopping centre, McDonalds, as well as a couple of other cafes. All in all, a great stay and we would be delighted to return to this hotel if we are ever in Bern again.

This hotel is a short bus ride from the main train station. The rooms are modern & ours was large. No one & no instructions on how to turn on the lights or operate the roll down shutters or anything else in the room. It was frustrating. There are large patio doors (no patio though) that open with electric roll down shutters. But our room faced busy train tracks & so leaving those doors open meant hearing VERY frequent train traffic late into the night & then starting again in the early morning. It wasn’t pleasant. Another thing to know about this hotel is the A/C is controlled & is central to the ENTIRE hotel and it’s not cool in the rooms🥵. There is NO adjusting it in your room or for your room 🥵. It is just what it is. We were advised to open our patio doors to get more air🤪. That would work if it’s cool outside AND there were not the train traffic! There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom and that just adds humidity to the room with no way to vent it. So this hotel is modern meets we don’t trust you. We would not stay here again & from now on even if the hotel says there is a/c we will have to ask the further question about who controls it & the temp.

Wir verbrachten zwei Nächte in diesem Hotel in der Kategorie: Deluxe-Studio. Das Hotel liegt 150 m von der Bahnstation nach Bern entfernt. Die Bahn fährt tagsüber alle 22 Minuten bis in die Innenstadt zum Bahnhofsplatz/Spitalgasse für 14€ pro Person. Die Tiefgaragenplätze für 15€ pro Tag sind groß und vor dem Hotel gab es keine freien Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Per Self-check-in wurde eine Karte für das Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Luftzirkulation in den Fluren bis zum Zimmer sowie auch die Luft im Deluxe-Studio war sehr ”abgestanden”. Da sich im Deluxe-Studio die Fenster öffnen lassen, ist die Luft schnell wieder frisch. Das Deluxe-Studio hat eine Größe von 27 m2 und viel Stauraum in einem großen Schrank. Das Bett ist bequem mit Blick auf einem großen Flat. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, auch ein kleiner Geschirrspüler ist vorhanden. Ein Schreibtisch steht direkt vor der Fensterfront mit Gardinen und Außenrollläden. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis wird erfüllt.

Super Unterkunft. Von A-Z hat alles geklappt. Eine tolle Unterkunft mit Kindern. Am Abend war es ab 22.00 uhr sehr ruhig im Hof und auch mit offenen Fenstern lässt es sich so gut schlafen. Das Frühstück war zum Geniessen in einem schönen Saal. Allgemein ist diese Jugendherberge wunderschön eingerichtet. Das Museum ist top und mit Kindern sehr gut machbar. Es gibt ein Rätselspass, basteln, Truhen öffnen, Schatzkisten und vieles mehr. Es lohnt sich dieses Museum zu besuchen. Diese Unterkunft ist nur zum Empfehlen
